I bring you more pages of my sketchbook, definitely having an obsession right now. Lynnwen's head is out of proportion so I don't like it haha (the back of her head should be wider). The little sketch of Lucinda carrying Alivia out of Shaemoor is based on a short story I am still writing based on this one. Featuring notes on how tall my characters would be in real life after talking to @lady-quen about it.

Lucinda Price

The Commander, Aurene's Champion. She/her. Heterosexual. Ascalonian.

Personality: Courageous, Adventurous, Reliable, Insecure, Restless.

Backstory: Lucinda's backstory closely follows the Commander's story written by Arenanet with small differences. She does not continue to become the Wayfinder. Magic from all the ley energy she has been exposed to over the years seem to hold on to her after all the dangerous adventures she's been in. Lucinda never fully recovered from dying by Balthazar's hand either and has a ghostly aura around her, which seems to worsen over time. To remedy this Aurene has blessed her with crystalline magic to keep her alive and free of pain. However when Jormag was defeated, she absorbed some of the ley energy they were filtering, thus taking even more energy into her body. Ever since Aurene went to rest at the end of EoD Lucinda has retired as the Commander and been living a quiet life, trying her best to feel normal.

Noticable traits: 1) Alive, but...: Has something resembling a ghostly aura around her, but she doesn't seem dead. Almost like some type of magic touched her and didn't let go. 2) Legendary Tale: You've heared many stories about her, yet you never imagined her to be this… You can't tell if you're disappointed or completely at ease that she seems this… normal… 3) Guarded: Lucinda seems to be guarded and doesn't seem like the person to open up to someone quickly. You can definitely tell she would have a lot to tell though.

How your character might have heard of them: The better question is, how has your character not heard of her by now?

Losing it over the fact that in the meme that goes like, "most gorgeous brown amber (shh close enough) eyes you've ever seen VS blue staring into your soul" Mael is both because his eyes change color when using magic.

Another one to the redraw pile, then. :) Already did a version of this with the Unlimited boys except it was green eyes vs blue in that one. But it cracks me up that I have a character who is Both

I feel compelled to share my already written summaries of my gw2 characters that I RP on and am VERY tempted to write one for all of them even for the ones I do not RP on. Giving them all a story is just really fun.

Alivia Dawn

Mirage/Collector/Member of Commander's guild She/her. Heterosexual. Divorced. 169cm / 5'6 feet tall.

Personality: Caring, Calm, Sincere, Quiet, Observing, Critical, Adventurous, Perfectionist, Determined.

Backstory: As a young noble girl Alivia was promised to marry into a wealthy noble family at the young age of 16. She married Erick Elwood the eldest son of the Cavalli family whom was adopted as a child. Alivia had always been interested in the mind and after giving birth to their son at her young age of 18 she pleaded Erick to let her study the arts of mesmerism. Given the Cavalli family reputation Erick wasn't keen on the idea of Alivia putting herself in danger but realised it might contribute to keeping his new family safe.

Two years after starting her training she went for an extravagant picnic hosted by an acquianted noble family with her 2 year old toddler Andrew. The attack on Shaemoor happened and the centaurs heavily wounded Alivia and killed Andrew. In her grief Alivia enstranged herself from the outside world for years, losing any form of relationship with Erick, shutting him out. Their marriage had no love left.

Slowly Alivia started using her mesmer skills again after hearing of the threat Scarlet posed to Lion's Arch, feeling the need to mean something in the world. Together with the Pact by the side of the commander Alivia defended Lion's Arch the best she could but was faced with the effects of PTSD from the attack on Shaemoor. Eymeria, a Durmand Priory Magister and healer tended to her and helped her heal from her PTSD. They became friends and started collecting artifacts together whilst helping the commander in their endeavours to safe the world and make it a better place.

Noticable traits: 1) Mesmer Aura: Alivia seems to be enveloped by a faint purple glow, why is she continuously using her mesmer ability? 2) Expensive Ring: There's a large expensive looking ring adorned on her ring finger. 3) Nobility: She seems to carry herself with distinction, looks polished and well cared for, traits of a possible noble background. How your character might have heard of her: If your character has connections to the Durmand Priory you would have seen her come in for healing and befriend a Magister there whom she's been helping collect artifacts with for the Pact.

I agree with all of the above for obvious reasons and would like to add: 17. Quaggan Lanterns (the round bubbly ones). 18. More bed variations. 19. The option to have more different kinds of pets besides cats. 20. Cultural city decor, I mean have you looked at the tables in the Grove and imagine all the interfaces we could get from Rata Sum. 21. Market stalls, we have them all over the world and I want to be able to build a little market and put my alts in them haha. 22. Durmand Priory, Order of Whispers and The Vigil themed items (even if they'd only start with the banners that be a good start).

Homestead Decor I want ANET to add but it gets more and more specific the longer the list goes on:

Floors. Please. The floor is dirt, at least let me put some wood or something over it.

More paintings! We have such a small selection to chose from.

Signs that work as actual signs (like the statues and gravestones)

Plants that aren’t in pots. I get you can drag the pots underground so they’re hidden but it’s about the sentiment.

A station for the trading post and bank. I am so tired of having to leave my homestead to go to the trading post.

The Joko statues you could get as decor for guild halls. It needs to function the same too, I want my character to say “Praise Joko!” when interacting with it.

Accurately sized airship set pieces. For reasons.

A decor version of Mr. Quiggles so he can be in my house as well as in my shed

Bloodstone pieces. For reasons.

That one fancy stovetop in the Red Duck Teahouse in New Kaineng (for the modern chefs out there)

Literally just a premade house I can put in the corner

That one weird wall with Caudecus’ face imprinted on it from the scary room under Caudecus’ Manor that made its official debut in LWS3E4. For reasons.

A bunch of Jade tech stuff so I can build my own personal reactor (sans Soo-Won of course)

Joko’s Bonewall but it’s a decoration now

how wrecked do you think the commander's immune system is? like inhaling all the fumes and dust and magic and bloodstone etc has got to have done a number on them.

Okay but Grothmar Valley is so insanely pretty, still every time I visit the map I'm in awe. Look at Lucinda being a shiny blob in a shiny colourful field of flowers. <3
