"y/n! we are parked here!" you turned around to meet younghwan waving his arms at you.

aish. it's 4 in the morning.. it's cold.. my stomach is empty.. my body is not yet ready for the day.. you walked across the street to the parking lot with heavy feet and a mild mental breakdown.

"good morning manager-nim" you tried to sound enthusiastic as you can.

younghwan's lips tugged up in a small smile knowing how you must be struggling to adjust to this kind of work "good morning to you too y/n. don't you worry, you can go back to sleep in the van on the way to the venue." he pats your back. "by the way, i'll be driving the vocal unit's van," he then pulled another person in the conversation "you will be with him, lee dongro. he is the hiphop unit's road manager."

"안녕하세요(hello) nice to meet you." you bowed at your new acquaintance. "안녕하세요(hello) so you're y/n. it's nice to finally meet you in person," his eyes curved behind his glasses.

"okay! let's start moving people!" younghwan shouted. "가자(let's go)!!" dk cheered and the rest cheered back in synch.

dongro slid the van's door for you, "감사 해요(thank you)" you smiled at him. you then faced the people inside the van "hey boys" you winked at them. "졸려 (sleepy)?" s.coups smiled at you. "because you look like you are y/n," mingyu swiped his palm over your eyes teasing you in which you returned with a death glare.

you hopped in the van scooting beside vernon at the very back. "i hope you guys don't mind, but i still have a dream to attend to," you announced that made vernon giggle his dorky laugh at you.

you were almost dozing off when the hiphop unit started to dig in their breakfast. oh shiiiiit~ that smell so goooood~ then your stomach rumbled. the boys looked at you, "sorry, was i making too much noise" you apologized with one eye open. "noona, you haven't eaten yet?" vernon faced you which only made you crave more of their breakfast. "여기(here), have my soup," wonwoo stretched his arm out to pass the soup to you. "choose a skewer," vernon handed you his packed breakfast. "want to try this keto bibimbap?" s.coups asked shyly "mingyu-yah give your water bottle to y/n and we'll share with mine instead. "그래(okay)" mingyu placed the bottle beside you. you went blank after. with food in both hands, watching the boys proceed eating makes you think, gosh i'm lucky. these boys makes everyone feel like they're part of their family. you let out a deep sigh. "noona, are you gonna eat that?" vernon teased. you pouted at him turning your body away from him and started devouring your food. "hmmmmm! 맛있어(tastes good)!"

"we have arrived!" dongro announced. you looked out the window to see yerin standing by the performance unit's van talking to dino. seungcheol slid the door open and offers his hand to you. you smiled at him and took his hand then jumped off the van. "yerin 애기(baby)!!" you shouted. as soon as yerin saw you, you two ran towards each other and hugged. "unnie, 보고 싶어용 (i missed you)" yerin whispered to you. "나도(me too) how are you? wow! today's going seventeen set looks grand!" you looked around. "they'll be playing jokgu," yerin linked her arm with yours. "jogku?" "yes unnie, foot volleyball," "aaahhh" you nodded your head in awe learning something new.

while the seventeen members settled down for their hair and makeup, you and yerin joined the crew assembly and listened attentively at you individual tasks for the day. your job today is setting up the lunch table after their game. that'll be easy peasy.

it's fifteen minutes before lunch and you were slowly completing the table set up. you're on your way back to the table carrying a box of utensils when..

"hyung 화이팅(fighting)!!" the8 cheered from the side. "pfht! i swear he'll barely make a score!" seungkwan scoffed. "don't listen to him hoshi," jun assured hoshi who was obviously nervous on making the last point for their team. "can you all just shut up and let us just finish this game? i am starving!" woozi was beginning to be impatient.

hoshi served the ball then joshua and jeonghan received it at the same time. the impact was strong that it bounced out the court's boundaries, straight to your direction. "noona!!" the maknae line shouted. somehow you were distracted by your own line of thoughts you didn't bother to pay attention at the audible commotion behind you. wonwoo happened to be at the very corner, as a fast runner he was able to reach you before the ball. "y/n!!" he stopped a foot away from you and before you could even make a full turn to face him the ball hit wonwoo's back pushing him against you.

everything happened so fast. you getting startled, wonwoo balancing himself on your shoulders, you dropping the box you were holding.. and then seeing that your faces were just inches away from each other as soon as you opened your eyes. wonwoo quickly moved away when he heard someone approaching.

"y/n 괜찮아(are you okay)?" jeonghan held onto your arm. "tsssss. yeah i'm fine hyung!" wonwoo mocked. "aigoo. that's not what i meant," jeonghan hugged wonwoo just like how he would to manage the situation. "y/n, let me help you with that" joshua started picking up the contents of the box for you. "thank you josh," you thanked lowly.

you eyed jeonghan and wonwoo slowly moving away sitting at the bleachers nearby.

he could've just let the ball hit me.. he really didn't have to.. aish.. this is going to be.. awkward.

what am i gonna do? what am i gonna do? how am i gonna do it? when am i gonna do it?

you kept on glancing at wonwoo seated on the bleachers, because of you he had to be excluded from the game for a several minutes. you sighed and blinked twice before you finally dragged your feet near him.

"hey, i.. uh.."

"don't tell me you're sorry y/n" wonwoo ended your sentence hoping it was the same idea you had in mind.

"huh?" you were half confused and half amazed at his intuition.

"you didn't mean for it to happen.. did you?"

"of course not wonwoo!"

"then the accident was purely innocent" he concluded.

then you had an idea, "at least allow me to return something back," you suggested to which made wonwoo nod his head. you sat at the next row of seats behind him, placing him between your legs and took his arms to dangle them on your thighs. you ran your hands on his back, "did the ball hit you here?" you asked. "ack!" wonwoo flinched. "i'm really sorry wonwoo.." you frowned. "hey, i told you.." he turned to face you. "i know! i know it's not my fault," you rolled your eyes. "and why'd you stop?" wonwoo turned his back again. and to loosen up the awkward moment he giggled at your every touch "wonwoo-yah, you dork! stop overreacting!" you laughed.

across the bleachers behind the cameras was yerin witnessing the entire scene. "what's the deal with those two?" yerin blurted absent mindedly.

"huh?" vernon heard yerin and glanced at the same direction as her. "그들(them)." she didn't take her eyes off of both you and wonwoo. vernon let out a breathy laugh "you see, wonwoo hyung isn't really the most.. romantic person you'll ever know..". "how did you know?" she finally turned her head to face vernon. "what do you mean?" vernon squinted his eyes. "i mean, we should confirm that shouldn't we?" yerin shrugged her shoulders to which vernon answered with his eyebrows dancing then they ended with a fist bump.

dinner was done at the venue and the going seventeen shoot has adjourned.

"yerin-ah take care always" you hugged her tightly. "너도(you too) unnie, see you again very soon," yerin slapped your butt as soon as you two moved away from each other. the two of you sent tons of flying kisses as you near the hip hop unit's van. "bye babe!" you waved your hand and entered the van. you sat at the front row of the van where wonwoo was sitting beside the window. "is everyone here inside the van?" dongro asked. you counted three exhausted faces behind you and another at your side "예(yes)".

you noticed wonwoo reading an e-book on his phone "what are you reading?" "uhm.. it is just.. it's about the culture and history of goguryeo.." the phone lit his face and gave you a clear view of his embarrassed state, rubbing the back of his neck and avoiding eye contact with you. "awww. you're such a nerd wonwoo." you giggled. "hey, read a page to me" you suggested. "but you won't understand a thing, it's in korean," he said back. "i don't mind. i still might understand a few words.. c'mon! read a page for me," wonwoo gave you an unsure look, "제발(please)" you begged.

he ended up reading aloud to you. you rest your head on the van's carseat looking at wonwoo's phone; eyes looking at the korean characters pretending to catch up with his reading.

whoa, his voice is so calming.. i could.. listen to it.. all day..

eventually listening to wonwoo's voice lulled you to sleep. unconsciously linking your arms with his, "yerin-ah, 자자(let's sleep)".

y/n.. why are you making me feel like this?! the way you perfectly fit against my chest earlier is already something i should move on by now.. but.. you.. just.. you are starting to linger in me..

wonwoo just couldn't take his eyes off of you and think about how he spooned you at the court earlier. it just felt.. so good to him. so good it started to tint his face pink.

dongro was just a corner away when wonwoo began to wake you up. "y/n? y/n, were are here in front of your dorm," he whispered over your ear. you flinched hearing his voice and sat straight on your seat, "oh. thank you for waking me up." you tried to smile at him. you looked around to see the others peacefully sleeping when you then open the door and walked towards your dorm building's main entrance.

"y/n!"

you turned around to see wonwoo running towards you with a bag. "here's breakfast for you tomorrow," he quickly handed you a bag filled with food packs and ran back to their van.

"wonwoo-yah" you called. he looked back at you "y/n! i told you! don't feel bad about it," you gave him a confused look "because y/n, i didn't!" wonwoo winked at you and entered the van.

oh, hyung.. you're so cheesy.. you're not too cold of a guy after all. yerin's right, we have yet to confirm things.. hehe.. hehe.. hehe..

"jeonghan? what are you doing?!" i was in total shock.

"jeonghan 일어나(get up from there)!!" miss kim nayeon exclaimed. kim nayeon is their head stylist and i am her p.a. for the mean time.

"noona, aren't you suppose to be used to seeing him like this?" jun poked behind her to see what happened. nayeon could only let out a deep sigh. "you know you should be by now, right?" mingyu chuckled looking at the mirror across the room.

"anyway y/n, i want you to reorganise the clothes after the boys leave the dressing room. as you can see, you probably know why. it always looked like a hurricane passed through.." both you and kim nayeon looked around.

"bureora hurricane!!!"

"미안(i'm sorry) y/n" nayeon hid her face behind her palms. "no miss nayeon. don't apologise. i am starting to get used to it," you assuringly smiled at her.

"okay boys! give me a last good look on you boys to see if you all look picture perfect." i watched nayeon inspect each member and look for the others at the same time.

"the8! your earrings"

"y/n, please get the hairspray for jeonghan"

"jun! fix your necklace"

"vernon! lipbalm"

"dk! tie your shoes"

"wonwoo? where's wonwoo?!"

"y/n please find wonwoo and make sure his eye makeup is done, that includes the body shimmer, okay?" she instructed you. "네(yes)" you answered before turning your back.

you went back to the dressing room "wonwoo?" you peeped inside. "oh, y/n.." he said taking of his top. "you're changing?" "yeah, this top ripped on me just now so i had to change" he showed you the ripped side of the previous top. "okay, maybe this would do." you handed him a patterned top.

for as long as you could, you tried to avoid looking at his body, thinking you might invade his personal space. but nope. i can't. the fact that he just goes around without anything up top so casually surprises you.

"does it fit well?" you distracted yourself from thinking. boy was i wrong about avoiding the situation. wonwoo faced you buttoning his shirt "i think so.. can you check it for me?" whaaaaat? am i not already checking you out dude? "okay, turn around" at least you couldn't see me hyperventilating you thought. you slid your hands across his shoulder blades "fits perfect" you shrugged. "really?" he turned around again.

just.. oh fuck no.. turn around wonwoo, will you?.. look at those.. no y/n!! fucking stop looking at his aaaaabbbsssss..

somehow wonwoo noticed your blank expression, then glanced at the direction you were looking at. you like what you see y/n? his lips tugging up.

"y/n there you are. wonwoo the shoot starts in 10 minutes" nayeon panted.

wonwoo looked at reflection one last time.

"oh wait," you suddenly remembered nayeon's instruction and grabbed the body shimmer on the table "here," the tips of your fingers were so cold the thought of touching him is making it fragile.

fuck. here goes nothing. you rubbed your palms together to evenly apply the shimmer on wonwoo's chest.

(okay, i know this is our dear uji.. for reference, but you get the picture right? 😜)

he flinched at the contact. y/n why are your fingers are so cold? you patting your hands on his chest made his body warm. the heat gave warmth to your fingers. somehow both of you were aware of the language your bodies spoke but at the same time, both of you tried to play it cool almost ignoring the obvious.

"wonwoo! 4 minutes!!" seungcheol stated with authority.

"got it hyung" without looking at you he held both your hands and moved it away from him gently before leaving the dressing room.

you balled your hands to feel its warmth. wow that was intense.

you and the other stylists were monitoring the pictorial from behind the set. whoa! just look at them. 멋있다 (they look so cool). then your eyes landed on wonwoo and suddenly you feel your cheeks starting to heat up.

it is not everday you get to touch a kpop idol.

"can you grab an iced americano for me as well?"

"okay okay okay okay!! let's go through the list again." yerin tried calming the boys down. "you unnie?" " an egg sandwich will be fine." you answered and she smiled back. "알겠어요(okay). be back soon~" she waved her hand before the door swung close.

"no!" vernon gasped to which grabbed everyone's attention. "what is it nonie?" joshua tapped his shoulder. "i forgot to ask yerin to buy me some twix.." he frowned.

twix? isn't twix yerin's favorite chocolate? wait...

"vernon, you could join yerin.. she might also need help with carrying the food." you said, trying to organise a plan inside your head. "어(yes) that's awful a lot for yerin noona to carry. hyung you should catch up with her!" dino slightly pushed him. "oh okay!" vernon slowly stood up. "빨리빨리(hurry hurry)" seungkwan and mingaho raised their voices.

as soon as vernon neared the door, "vernon! can you ask yerin what chocolate she likes? and buy it for her, she has been good to me lately.. i will pay you back later." you had a big grin on your face well, yerin you better tell me what happened after

yerin gasped loudly when she felt a large strong hand grabbing her wrist "vernon?". "good thing i was able to reach you soon yerin" he panted a little bit "what are you buying first?" he continued. yerin was confused and her cheeks are getting hot at the same time. "i'm coming with you and help silly!" vernon ruffles her hair. "응(yeah)" she snapped back "like you always.. do.." yerin turned back to her direction "..everytime i ask you out.." she mumbled.

"huh?" vernon retorted. "uh. 가차(let's go)."

yerin and vernon was almost done when they decided to buy seungkwan's iced americano last.

"miss, we'll come back for the iced americano later, is it okay?" vernon asked and the barista nodded. he then faced yerin " let's go to the convenient store to buy y/n noona's egg sandwich. "okay" she followed behind.

"got it!" yerin handed the sandwich to vernon at the counter.

"yerin-ah" vernon suddenly remembered "what chocolate do you like?" "me? i like.. twix.." both vernon and yerin looked at his hand holding a bar of twix, which happened to be the last piece..

"sir, excuse me! should i punch that in too for you?" the cashier asked which also ended yerin and vernon's gaze at each other. "oh. yes please." vernon handed the bar.

they went back to the company's cafeteria as soon as they got seungkwan's drink.

"let the feast begin!"

"uhm.. yerin-ah.." yerin faced vernon who was ripping the twix wrapper. he bit on one bar and handed the other to yerin. "you like twix too right? thought i'd share.." yerin blushed at vernon's gesture and how close his body was to her "uhm. thanks." she bit her lips.

"vernon!, how much was it?" you reached for your wallet. "ah, noona.. yerin said she likes twix but there's only one left. so i shared the other bar with her. it's on me,"

even if seventeen's comeback ended successfully, here you are in awe about how they still have the strength to prep up for their next comeback. "pre-writing lyrics, pre-recording vocals, pre-shooting for going seventeen.." yerin enumerates

"whoa! do they even get tired? didn't they just wrapped up their latest comeback?" you took a bite of your chip. "they shouldn't be. as they say, "to keep up with the algorithm"" yerin took a piece from your bag of chips. "poor boys. being an idol is not all glamorous, is it?" "well.. let's just be thankful that we're only backup dancers, we get to be dolled up and be on stage with them. i see it as one balanced career" yerin's eyebrows danced playfully.

yerin is one of the company's regular dancers and the closest to you. she reminded you of your best friend hence why you became comfortable with her immediately. she is loud, not obnoxious. she is thoughtful, not nosy. she is audacious, not wild.

she would sometimes ask vernon out, not the other way around though. she is pretty bold for a korean girl and it won't stop her for expressing her feelings for vernon.

"vernon.." yerin let out a very deep sigh. "uh, yerin? 괜찮아(you okay)?" should i giggle or be worried? "uh.. noth.. thing.." she answered looking at her phone. "come on. you know you can tell me anything right?" i wrapped my arms around her shoulders. yerin tossed her phone aside "i've known vernon for 2 years now. even if i am the one who asks him out often to help me, i still wish he could do the first move or at least tell me what he thinks of me..".

"awww, baby girl. you have to understand, he is busy and probably his mind is occupied with work. just like what you said earlier. plus you never know, the time will come where he will be able to tell you what you wish to hear." you swayed her body with your chin resting on her shoulder. "i guess your right.." "now come on, we still have a meeting to attend to," you grabbed her wrist "and vernon's gonna be there too!" "okay unnie!" yerin couldn't help but smile.

"안녕하세요(hello) miss y/n and miss yerin! kindly find a place to seat," a staff of the company greeted the both of you. "okay, as you all know, the preparation for the next comeback in is progress. however, dance rehearsals won't start yet but rather a little bit later. that doesn't mean the dancers will be free for the meantime. selected dancers are appointed to help the crew from other production teams. this is the list of names and which production team you are assigned. kindly pass it around and remember which team you are in. thank you. let us work well together!" she continued.

"unnie! you will be joining the road managers and the stylists!" yerin ran to you. "너 (and you)?" you asked. "i will be joining the going seventeen crew!" she linked her arm with yours. "whoa! that'll be super fun!" "i know unnie!!" yeah a lot of fun than being a road manager and stylist, .. right?..

"y/n! yerin! you guys busy?" seungcheol asked. "아니(nope). we're about to head at y/n unnie's place to hangout. why?" yerin stepped back. "come eat with us at the cafeteria!" jeonghan waved his hand at the both of you.

"aren't you going back to drink with your group?" you asked wonwoo who grabbed his beer and sat beside you.

"nah, i think i had enough tonight. plus the coal from the grill makes me warm, i like it here" he stretched his arms to the grill.

"okay boys, let's call it a night," jeonghan announced. "mingyu, take the maknae line. seungcheol, the hyung line is yours." he continued. "응(yes)" both appointed members replied. "joshua and minghao, can you please help me clean up a little?" jeonghan asked to which the two nodded. "hoshi-yah, 괜찮아(are you okay)?" jeonghan tapped the boy's back. "i'll take care of him hyung"

wonwoo came helping hoshi up. "thanks".

you checked your fellow backup dancers making sure they are all fine. you cleared the trash and cleaned up the tables. "oh, there are still a lot of leftovers.." you looked through the glass wall then contemplated

"hmmm.. the night is beautiful and quiet though. should i take this all in instead? well.. maybe should. i may not experience seeing something like this after tonight.." you collected the leftovers, sat on the long bench facing the glass wall and enjoyed both the food and the view at the moment.

"wonwoo hyung can you hand me a glass of water please?" vernon peeped out from the tiny gap of the door. "그래(sure), give me a minute." wonwoo headed to the kitchen, surprised to see a silhouette peacefully facing the glass wall. "y/n?" "hey" your turned and smiled at his presence.

wonwoo continued to fill a glass of water for vernon then went back upstairs to hand it to him. he went back to the kitchen to see you still in the same position.

"y/n, why are you still up this time?" wonwoo looked down at his watch "it's 2am". "i just decided to finish some of the leftovers since i didn't really eat a lot earlier.." you took a bite of the of the meat on your plate. "y/n, did you know it's best to drink with someone?" he chuckled as soon as he saw a bottle of soju beside you. "are you making me ask you to join me jeon wonwoo?" you glared at him. yet you giggled and tapped the space beside you. "this is flavored soju though, it might be girly for a guy like you," both you and wonwoo laughed.

the time went on and on, and both of you saw a different side of each other, a tipsier side. wonwoo found it astonishing that you enjoy drinking by yourself under the moon, reading books in the dim, listen and dance to classical music in the dark. he never knew a smiley, cheesy and chatty girl like you has the duality to be reserved and sentimental. wonwoo was also surprised to know you were a volunteer that immerse to rural areas to teach kids and you travel for the sake of learning rather than its leisure.

you on the other hand saw wonwoo beyond being a idol, someone you see often in social media. his shaky hands pouring alcohol in your glass, tilting his head every once in a while to check if your eating.. making eye contact that almost feel like magnets because no matter how you try to avoid it, the eye contact just keeps on happening! and there is something in the way he scrunches his nose that softens you.

aish.. it feels like a dream even if i know it is not. wonwoo caught you staring at him "y/n, it's almost 5am.. we should rest now" he rubs his forehead clearly hiding his tinted cheeks. "어(yes) we probably should. well.. see you soon?" you grinned "very soon y/n".

"wonwoo-yah," you trailed his name, "thanks for staying up with me," he simply smiled, "and sorry too for making you stay up with me," you awkwardly laughed, "you'll be probably very tired today.."

"it's fine. talking to girls like this is something refreshing to me. seven years of conversation with 12 boys is now boring you know. and to be honest i enjoy listening to you blab about things," wonwoo pinched your cheek.

"여러분(everyone), bottles up" the leader began. "toast for a successful comeback and promotion. from the company's staff, youtube production team, dance and choreo crew, music and lyric producers to these hardworking 12 boys beside me, i hope to aim higher with all of you in the future!"

you had your first shot down. indeed it was an awesome first round of comeback activities for me. i am really living the dream random fact popped inside your head.

"joshua, leave the grilling to me okay?" you took the tray of meat. "y/n, let the maknael help you," joshua opened the venue's sliding door wider. "do you trust me?" both of you stayed still. you knew he'll insist that at least one of the maknae line will help you, "진짜(really), i am fine with it. you guys just have fun and keep ordering meat from my station. i'll happily serve everyone," you gave him a big smile.

you made your way across the outdoor space, where the members played soccer with the crew, to the grill so you could start cooking the meat.

"boys! first plate of meat coming right up!" you called their attention.

you went back in the penthouse to get another tray of meat then went back to grilling meat again. the first plate of meat isn't near empty and your second batch is ready to be served. then you thought of making lettuce wraps for everyone. lettuce, meat, a little bit of paste and kimchi. after filling a tray with lettuce wraps you placed the third batch and while it's cooking you went around feeding lettuce wraps to the staff, crew and lastly the boys.

"y/n, you didn't have to feed us," blushing jun said are you blushing because of me or is it the alcohol? "it's the least i could do for you guys," you smiled genuinely. "dino-yah, aaaaah~ " dino gladly received your lettuce wrap "고마워요(thank you) noona" tsssss. this kid, isn't he just the cutest?

"y/n, you're not drinking?" dk asked trying to find your shot glass on the table. "oh, i don't really drink.." what the heck y/n?! you used to be an underage drinker and your alcohol tolerance is quite high! well maybe because i am not in the mood tonight.. "우와(whoa), you and woozi have a lot in common than i thought," jeonghan seem surprised. you faced woozi with a confused look. "i might have some type of allergy with alcohol," he said matter of factly. "oh.i see.."

you ran back to the grill remembering the third batch. "you look like a.. alcohol veteran. but i might be wrong," he slyly admitted. "i just.. i don't like beers.." you bit your lips. "what do you like then? maybe we have something you'd like," "vodka is my weapon of choice" you wanted to sound sexy but failed ending the conversation with laughter.

"hyung, look over there" vernon pointed at your direction. "well, what do you know?" he clinged on vernon's arm, resting his chin on the maknae's shoulder, squinting his tiger eyes. the roomates took in each and every interaction you and wonwoo did. "잠깐만(wait a minute), didn't you say you like her hyung?" the boys on the same table: mingyu, minghao and vernon turned their heads to hoshi after seungkwan's statement. "oooooh~ now this is getting interesting," mingyu rubbed his palms together anticipating their hyung's answer. "so, what's up with you and.. you know?" with his eyebrows dancing, dino gazed at your direction. "boys you're overreacting! it's obvious that most of us is fond of her. but let me remind you guys she's a friend too," jeonghan crossed his arms. "a crush is a crush. let's keep it that way. i don't want us to make her feel uncomfortable by competing with each other," joshua glanced a quick look at you. "and please, let us not fight over a girl. if she gets closer to either one of us, that's her choice. it's just a matter of who she is comfortable with" jun stretched his arms to reach as many members as he could. "that's why when she doesn't choose you, don't sulk dude," minghao giggled. "better still, try harder," mingyu faced hoshi with raised eyebrows, so did minghao. "i am just glad she is my dance partner. i spend more time with her than any of you," woozi pointed at each member matter of factly. "hyung? is it done yet?" vernon asked tugging his ear. "we should have ordered instead" joshua shifted in his seat.

"야(hey) let them do what they want to do" jeonghan filled the glasses with water. "얘들아(guys) i just wanted to cook something homey today since it's our day off," stated seungkwan stirring a ladle in a pot. " 맞아(he's right). you guys should try it out too. cooking can be therapeutic," mingyu said as he finished chopping the vegetables.

"we're home~" jun opened the door wide for the remaining boys. "you guys are just in time" minghao took his hyung's duffle bag. "mmmmm~ what's for dinner? it smells so good!" woozi trailed to the kitchen. "jajangmyeon, kimbap and fried chicken" seungkwan said proudly. "seungkwan, you cooked?" wonwoo asked whilst taking his shoes off. "i tried cooking today with mingyu hyung".

"잘 먹겠습니다(i will eat well)" the maknae acknowledged. "헐 맛있어(wow this is delicious)" seungcheol seem amazed.

"how was practice today?" joshua asked the 96line. "it was good, though i have to say i couldn't take my eyes off jihoon" hoshi let out a laugh.

"oh right. the new girl. how was she?" dk was curious. "she's very hardworking" woozi comment. "i hate to admit it, i am jealous of woozi though" wonwoo shifted his eyes on woozi.

"she has amazing moves too," hoshi shrugged. "amazing moves?" dino didn't quite understand. "any other things amazing about her?" mingyu's eyebrows did a little dance for hoshi. "like amazing.." jeonghan took his glass "body?" he continued eyeing the content of his glass. the room went silent.. until hoshi smirked. "i knew it!" seungcheol stood up from his seat.

"tsssss. here we go again. the hyung line talking about girls and their bodies" seungkwan palmed his face.

"well, she does have a great dancer body you know" vernon noted in which seungkwan only responded with wide eyes. "她是我的类型" jun blurted out which minghao only smiled and giggled at. "if you guys were there, you wouldn't help but stare at her too." wonwoo adjusted his eyeglasses. "when is our next schedule?" dk asked but the group just gave him a confused look. "why thank you jun" you smiled in return. "noona! come and join us here," hoshi and woozi came in the room with a bag full of chicken skewers and ramen. "maybe i do need to remind you guys to stop calling me noona," you sighed. "we can't help it, it is fun to call you noona," woozi teased you. isn't he the guy who the boys said was shy around girls?

you were in awe to find yourself with these international kpop idols eating street food with the backup dancers during practice break. to see them like this in personal was so humbling that you told yourself that you are so lucky to be in this position.

"얘들 아(guys) you know i really like this song, (light a flame) from your new album," the other dancers agreed. "it reminds me of my old folks back home. it is a tad bit like latin music which my family is fond of. the song wants me to dance the salsa!" you crackled and danced.

"okay kids, allow me to settle things up. now, she is y/n. she is the new addition to your female group of dancers. she is said to have experience and skills in various dance styles hence she was offered this opportunity by the company. and also because we needed a suitable dance partner for woozi,"

you let out a long sigh after reading your best friend's message. you lowered your phone then glanced back to your plane ticket to check your flight's departure time.

KE flight number 17 bound to incheon, south korean has finally arrived. please proceed to the departure area, thank you.

"this is it y/n," you told yourself "i am finally living my dream as a dancer in south korea!!" you clutched your things close to you then strutted your way to the departure area.

dancing is a huge part of your existence. it is something you love to do and everyone knows it. dancing is your ultimate skill, your art of choice and your mode of therapy. then just after your dance teacher posted your video up on the internet, an email addressed to you changed everything. the email was sent by an agency looking for a specific dancer, well a short dancer that is.

see, you never really thought of hitting it big. yeah you are pretty and very experienced in a lot of style of dances but you lack in the height department. beauty standards nowadays just made you feel not too special to be casted at all. but hey, you certainly enjoyed underground dance battles and backing up local artists at your place.

that's why being contacted by a south korean entertainment industry came as a huge shock to you. the thought of the possibilities of meeting k-pop idols made you giddy as a schoolgirl. it is too soon the name names, isn't? you smiled to yourself getting comfortable in your seat. you looked out the window as the plane is about to take off south korea here i come.

you just need to take in the view, high glass ceiling, the place well lighted by glass walls and the modern architecture which made you realize you don't need to pinch yourself to reality.

you walked past the arrival sign and immediately saw a man holding a paper with your name on it. "안녕하세요 (hello)" you bowed to the man. he bowed back "you must be miss y/n, welcome to south korea. my name is jeon young hwan and i will be your chauffeur. shall i grab your luggages for you miss?" you slightly bowed again "sure young hwan씨. 감사합니다 (thank you)" such a gentleman and he is kinda cute. everything is going quite well for you so far.

it seemed like an hour drive when you finally arrived at the company building. it was huge. it made you even more excited when you saw nu'est and members of after school exit the building "kahi!!" you exclaimed unable to take your eyes off of her. "so, you are a fan of after school miss y/n," young hwan's words snapped you back to reality. "oh. 죄송합니다 (sorry) was i too loud?" your cheeks blushing from embarassment. "아니 (no). i think it is just natural for someone to react like that when they are starstrucked," young hwan smile at you through the rear mirror. "by the way miss y/n, as you can tell the builing on the left is the company building and here on the right will be your accomodation," young hwan swerved the van to the right and entered the parking area of the building.

he slid the door open and help you out of the van "now miss y/n, i will take you to your dorm" after reaching the seventh floor and walking past several doors from the elevator you finally reached your dorm "so this is it miss y/n, inside you will find a planner with your working schedules. as well as names of important people you should know working in the company and room numbers, floors you should be at during you schedule," young hwan stated like a pro. "감사합니다 (thank you)" you bowed then he returned you the gesture.

you open the door, not expecting too much. it was a very tiny room. but it still had its own bathroom, mini kitchen and a space for a small bed so it was still much better than you would have thought. you settled your bags inside, locked the door, went straight to the window and pulled the curtains aside. taking in the warmth of the sun and inhaling the korean air now, the adventure begins.

you cooked yourself ramen for dinner with kimchi at the side and banana milk as your desert. you then remembered to go through you planner for your first day tomorrow:

the next day you were up very early. too early that you didn't really know how to kill the rest of the time before 7am. "hmmm.. i guess i could walk around a bit to check out new places," so you wore your hoodie over your tanktop, wrapped your waistbag around you sweatpants and slinged your water bottle around your wrist.

as you stepped out of your building you inhaled the chilly korean air once again, which in turn gave you this boost of positive energy, or is it just a placebo effect? there were small hangout places in each corners of the street, a pet grooming shop with the cutest clients you have ever seen, a public park nearby where you saw kids smiling and waving at you before they ran to the slide. you looked at your watch "oh, its already 6am could the building be open by now?" you went back your path direct to the company building. there were workers cleaning the windows and it didn't look like there were anybody else but the cleaning team. you waved your hand at one crew "안녕하세요 (hello)," you bowed "is the building open?" you showed her your id. "안녕하세요 (hello), you may come in, though there is no one around yet. you may stay at the lobby in the meantime." the crew said. "감사합니다 (thank you)" you gave her a smile and bowed.

the place was a masterpiece. no wonder idols here are inspired to be more creative with their craft. you then noticed a narrow hallway with large posters adorning the wall. you looked at the posters and noted that the posters were of the artists of the entertainment agency. you passed by headshots of after school, you stopped at kahi's photo wow, those abs then at nana's photo she is so gorgeous. next you passed by hello venus and while you are on your way to the next group you caught yourself singing "씰룩씰룩 엉덩일 좌우로~ Wiggle, wiggle 더 느낌 있게~ 빙글빙글 조심스럽게~ 흔들어봐 흐흔들어봐~". then you saw ren of nu'est he looks prettier than me, sulking thinking about it. lastly you met the faces of seventeen, one of south korea's international idol groups. you just couldn't close your mouth in awe they are only pictures, what more if i met them in personal?

"ehem, 안녕하세요 (hello), you look new," a voice interupted your daydream. you looked back to see it was choi youngjun, the choreographer. "ah 안녕하세요 youngjun씨, my name is y/n" you politely bowed. "you are the new dancer, welcome to pledis entertaiment miss y/n" youngjun said after he bowed at you. "hey, are you heading to the dance pactice room?" he asked. "네 (yes) actually i am," you answered. "well then, let's go together,"

youngjun reached for the door and opened it for you. wow, this practice room is huge the room was well lit and there were mirrors everywhere. you can't help but smile at the thought that your dream is finally coming into life. next thing you know music blasted from the speakers. you moved your head to look for youngjun. "so y/n, show me what you got," youngjun said as he sat on a chair to observe you. is he challenging me? you smiled then dropped your things aside, tossing your hoodie with it as well.

without hesitation, you faced the mirror and started to move your body to the music. making your movements as fluid as you could possibly get with a few body popping moves to show your versatility. as you were already vibing with the music, youngjun suddenly changed the music to a latin-sultry kind of song. of course you didn't back down. you showed off your ballroom dancing skills with a dash of belly dancing to make your performance a tad bit sexy to impress the choreographer. you glaced at youngjun behind you through the mirror giving you a satisfied nod. he stood up from his seat and applaud "대박 (awesome) y/n. i am very impressed. you are exactly what we need,"

"ah 진짜 (really) boo seungkwan!!" said an angry woozi. "can somebody fucking shut him up?" hoshi shouted at the other room. "seungkwan hyung!!" dino barged in inside woozi's room with a pillow and slammed it on seungkwan's head earning a pissed look from the older one. "yah! 임마 (punk)" seungkwan chased dino out of woozi's room.

"얘들아 (guys), quit running around you're making me feel dizzy," a groggy scoups took a seat at the dining area. "here you go hyung" mingyu handed the leader a bowl of kimchi fried rice. "고마워 (thanks) mingyu-ah". "mingyu, can you wake hansol for me?" jeonghan asked as he laid a bigger bowl of kimchi fried rice on the table. "sure hyung" mingyu obliged. "okay, who else is not yet up? we have practice today! and our managers will be waiting downstairs any moment now! 빨리 (quickly)"

eventually the chaos subsided and everyone was able to settle things on time. yup, they do indeed have teamwork.

"okay.. dokyeom, myungho help me bring these bags please," joshua called the two boys nearest to him. "..9 ..10 ..11, jun did you check all the electric sockets?" wonwoo asked switching the lights off, making sure everything is fine before leaving. "네 (yes)" jun answered turning the door's lock. "12 & 13, now we're ready to go 가자 (let's go)!"

"hyung! you still haven't mentioned anything about yesterday," dk's head peep out from the van's backseat. "well she arrived and probably rested well last night," young hwan said leaning on the van's sliding door. "is she pretty?" seungkwan asked after he sipped from his coffee cup. "그럼, (of course) she is pretty, aren't all girls pretty?" young hwan said as he slid the van's door shut. "아이씨 (damn it) ah hyung! you're such a tease," jeonghan rolled his eyes. young hwan sat on the driver seat "joshua, do me a favor, please look out for the kids for me. make them behave later," he said as he fasten his seatbelt. "yes sir," joshua let out a chuckle.

"good morning!" vernon bowed slightly, greeting the staff in the building. "can't wait to meet her," said the maknae whilst clasping his hands together. "young hwan hyung said she was pretty," woozi whispered to dino. "ah 진짜 (really)?" the8 butted in while he wrapped each of his arm at the two boys.

"얘들아 (boys), kindly stay at the next room beside the practice room for a while. youngjun-씨 is currently observing the new dancer. wait for his queue once you are permitted to enter the room," a member of the staff informed the group. "네 알겠습니다 (okay, i understand)," the boys answered back.

the boys entered the said room. it was dark and poorly lit at one side. "와 (whoa), it's my first time entering this room," scoups spoke. "look! over there" jun pointed at the only source of light in the room. the room was dimly lit through a line of glass panels. "is that her?" hoshi went closer to the glass panel. "all this time, we were rehearsing in front of a two-way mirror?" wonwoo further scanned the glass panels. "look at her, 아이구 (aigoo) she is so tiny," mingyu commented.

the boys were drawn near the glass panel all in awe.

so, she is the new dancer in the building.
