"You had better be!" - it came out as a subdued roar, her fangs bared a little. The cat began to circle him slowly, wanting to get the point across that she was being most serious. "This is between you and I. And I am certainly not concerned with what you think I need and do not need," Eris huffed, "The business you have with a goddess such as I is suiting my desires, whether my mistress has you taking care of hers or not. Do you doubt my place above you, human?" The leopard stopped to look up at him with sharply focused yellow eyes.  "The second condition, of course, is that you shall lavish your petting and attention upon me when I see fit whenever you're in my presence." Her head nudged up under one of his hands.

Eris wetted her nose on the liquid, sniffing at it before testing it with her tongue. "Exceptional," she said simply before lapping half of the vodka quickly from the cup. The panther kept an eye on Deirdre all the while, soon lifting her head and licking her fangs appreciatively of the alcohol. "You please me human... I suppose I should tell you who I am. And I am Eris; more importantly I am a goddess, but you may pet me if it suits you." She resumed lapping up the rest eagerly.

“Well I’m flattered then,” the panther’s face deadpaned as only a panther could, being rather tolerant of the head patting. “But that certainly doesn’t answer my question.” Eris huffed, sitting back on her haunches. “If you’re going to be on my territory you must have brought something for me as tribute- food? Alcohol, perhaps? I’m not at all picky.”

Eris thought she was being polite enough to place both large paws on Amelia's shoulders and leaned back her round furry head so that the doctor could more easily scratch her neck the way she liked. "Ah yes," Eris's back leg flinched and beat the ground at the scratching, "we've missed you so, Greed and I... though I should admit she's been a bit more liberal with letting me have my liquor than when you were around to remind her against it." The big cat grunted.

"If I am going to have to continue seeing you around my home... and goodness knows I've seen quite a bit of you..." the cat eyed him over- at least he was fully clothed now, "...I should like to lay down a few guidelines for your fraternizing with my mistress- at least while I'm around. Firstly, you would do well do bring me something to eat when you enter my den," Eris continued licking at her paws. "Secondly...- are you paying attention James? I won't repeat myself"

Her heavy paw reached up to snatch at his coat, yellow eyes fixed firmly on him, "Do I frighten you then, human? Really, you should learn some manners if you're going to speak to me that way..." the leopard spoke haughtily before letting go of him. "I suppose you can't help it. I am Eris, and I am a goddess. Pleased to meet you anyhow."
