"Well, if you're such an all-cookie-knowing-guy... You bake some.."

---- "I worked really hard on these..." She muttered, gaze lowering to the plate.

  "Nutmeg with poison, then. Because otherwise I can’t explain the taste and there is definitely something wrong with it."

"Well, aren't you just a Positive-Peggy.... They're nutmeg."

"Mmm… what are these incredible cookies made of? Poison perhaps?"

She swallowed against her dry throat, trying to avoid thinking about it. "Y-Yes, I am very sure, Autumn."

"It's... p-probably just something that'll pass. Yeah."

  Autumn raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. “Are you sure?”

---- "You're probably looking in the wrong section; unless you're just searching for the wrong book entirely."

Evalynn watched Rose as she spoke, letting her vent and get everything off her chest. Eva was a good listener-- a perk of being so shy and demur by herself. "W-Well, Rose... Nobody's perfect. In fact, more people do exactly that than you think." Eva offered with a small smile. "It's a defect of humanity, really. Be you muggle, witch, what have you-- We all have hearts and minds that work in such strange, confusing ways. Doctors and scientists will tell you why you do one thing or another... But they can't tell you, really." She explained, gesturing with her words to keep Rose's attention.

                   ---- "Especially at our age."

Hesitantly, she reached out to touch Rose's arm gently. It was a small act, but one that channeled understanding and reassurance. Rose was a sweet girl, she had never meant any harm that Evalynn had seen or picked up on. People were just... people.

"Alex can't stay mad forever-- And if you two are close and.. y-you know, whatever bond it is that you have..." She drew her gaze up from the grass between them, trying to catch Rose's eyes.

"He knows, Rose... Alex is a smart guy-- And a kind one. It is only a matter of time before he cools down. Before you feel better."

-- "You shouldn't feel so bad for feeling bad... Y-You know what I mean." Eva stammered, squinting at her own choice of words. For such an intelligent person she sure had a hard time forming a sentence sometimes.

  Rose laughed and shook her head. “No, I’m a bitch. I try and help people who don’t need it and try and pry people open because I think there’s more to them. I’m a bitch because I think I have it so hard sometimes and I don’t realize that other people have it too.”

"You’re spot on with that guess..I don’t want to see Alex." She sighed. "He’s angry at me and I just don’t want to be around him right now. Do you know the feeling when you want someone just to comfort you, even if you’re wrong for being upset? I just wanted him to tell me it’s okay to be upset and t comfort me. I didn’t want a bloody speech about how I’m not my own person and how much of a bitch I really am."

---- "N-No... That's alright. I-I'm sure it'll go away after today.." Eva managed, avoiding Autumn's gaze. Yes, she had a slight paranoid fear of Mr. Longbottom's methods in the Hospital wing.

  "That’s horrible! Do you want to go to the hospital wing?"

Eva observed her housemate for a moment before setting her bag down in the grass and taking a seat beside Rose. She also hugged her knees and looked over at Rose.

"You're not a bitch." She stammered, her cheeks a little red at the word that came out of her mouth.

She was quiet for a moment, just looking at Rose with gentle, brown eyes. They were understandig and warm, just as they always were for people Evalynn knew."Who don't you wanna see, i-if it's not something personal." She asked timidly, before leaning closer and lowering her voice.

                ---- "Is it Alex?"

   Rose winced as she heard it was Evalynn and she turned to her with a sorry expression. “It’s fine…I’m just not feeling too well today. Friendship stuff, y’know?” She mumbled, ripping out pieces of grass before throwing them lightly. “I just didn’t want to be inside and have to see him or anything because I doubt he wants to see me.” Rose moved her legs up to her chest and rested her head on her knees. “I’m a bitch.”

-- "Some very very rude person... put a stupid potion into my food yesterday. It's got my stomach in knots, today."

  "What did you do?"

Evalynn had been wandering, aimlessly just enjoying the morning outside. After making her way toward the lake, trying to not remember the horrors of the bonfire, she caught sight of a shape out of the corner of her eye. She looked over to find a red-haired girl underneath a tree. She couldn't entirely depict who it was, but the blue colors let her know that it was either Rose or Azalea-- and she hadn't seen Azalea in a while, so her first thought was certain that it was Rose.

First it was curiosity that had her moving toward the Weasley, but it soon drew around to worry at the posture and expression she had. The bluejays didn't frighten Eva so much, but they concerned her a little bit. Her words were cut off by Rose's sour outburst, making Eva stutter and put her hands up to show she meant no harm or intrusion.

---- "I-I didn't m-mean to... I just wanted t-to know if y-you were okay..."

Rose sat outside under a tree by the lake, her eyes trained on the book in her lap. She didn’t want anyone near her after her fight with Alex so in protections she cast the avis spell, bluejays now flying around her. If she had to she’d let them attack someone but she doubted anyone would find her out here anyways. That is until a shadow is cast over her by a person. Looking to the person she frowned, “Go away.”

-- "Oh, that would be splendid, bless you, Lucy.." She breathed as she leaned back into the bed. "Yesterday was just the day for people to mess with Ravenclaws, I suppose." It was a joke, but the churning in her stomach didn't exactly make it feel like one.

  "Yikes. Do you want me to get you a migrane potion or something?" Lucy asked before wincing. "Yeah, tell me about it. Someone spilled a potion on me yesterday, it was horrible."

"I've got the worst migrane in existence, not to mention that potion someone slipped me yesterday has my stomach in a disgusting knot..." Evalynn looked up at Lucy and sighed.

  "Are you alright? Are you sick?"

"Ooh.. Merlin, I feel so terrible..."
