Happy New Year! We are just a few days away from our grand opening now, and we couldn’t be more excited. The finishing touches are being polished and we’re hoping to have everything set to launch on January 3rd, right on schedule! As one final update for you all before this grand opening, we thought today we would share another sneak-peak at another piece of custom content: our Town Map.

well, you didn’t hear it from me, but... we’re going to be dropping the link at 2pm eastern time -- so about 2 hours from now!

I'm so excited for the discord to be opening today!! Any clues if there might be an earlier beta/alpha access soft open of the site for the discord members, or should we all wait for the 3rd of January for a universal big overall launch?

hi! we’re very excited too -- be sure to check back very very soon for that link! 

as far as an early open, we may be convinced to unlock the site a day early so people can get a head start on their apps, however while the site as a whole is ready to go, a few bits of content filling still need to be done (gym badge designs, the pokedex, and the store most of all). 

i think any beta access is going to depend on how far in advance we can get that stuff done, because i’m a neurotic perfectionist who also happens to be pretty busy over the holidays!

so, tl;dr: maybe! that’s definitely something we can consider, and will certainly be discussed in the discord once it launches!

YOUR ALIAS: hannah YOUR PRONOUNS: she/her or they/them YOUR AGE: twenty-one FAVOURITE POKEMON: dragonite (if that wasn’t clear) but also galvantula doesn’t get enough love FAVOURITE TYPE: either psychic or water, depends on the day FAVOURITE GYM LEADER: this is gonna be weird but bea from sword/shield entirely resembles my current dungeons & dragons character from name to appearance to personality (and my bea came first by almost a year) so I feel obligated to say her?  THE BASICS: UH please enjoy some basic potential outlines for characters. I change my mind a lot though. if you’re interested in any please hmu and my discord is hannah#4389! also fun fact over this winter break (I’m a senior in college) I posted some videos of my cats on tiktok and they have thousands of views and now I don’t know what to do.

-gym leader who’s entirely new to this and has no idea how she got here, but she’s trying her best.

(probably daisy ridley). she’s a late bloomer to the league scene, and had a big corporate job up until a few years ago when she ditched it all to start over. her family isn’t happy with her because of it, so lately she’s been gaining a found family for herself as she learns that that’s much more important than blood relatives. her pokemon are the most important beings in the world to her, everyone else comes second. 

-new trainer with a fierce passion (but she’s really bad at it).

(probably dove cameron). a new, scrappy underground trainer who’s just trying her darn best to be helpful to team pride. the problem is that she’s clumsy, forgetful, yet full of drive. angry most of the time but like she’s small and unthreatening so people don’t take her seriously (until they meet her in battle). probably mostly fairy type pokemon with a little poison thrown in.

-baker who wants nothing to do with the league (but she loves to watch).

(face tbd). all I know about her is that she is the most lowkey of the three also she bakes a lot, probably owns a small business or something. a casual trainer.
