It’s been a while friends. I finally settled in to my new home a lot further south and I am finally back to my old hooking ways. Three pieces left until the moose is ready for assembly!

So here’s a sneak preview of my beautiful color palette! I already made my first piece while multitasking answering phones at my work desk, so I am PUMPED!!
Hopefully I can keep this momentum and finish in record time, as I’m counting the days it actually takes to do it this time.
I’m ready for a maple mooseketeer!

Okay guys, I’m back at it.
I’m gonna crochet another sewing pattern. Pattern of choice: Moose
Colors: burgundy wine, chocolate brown and golden syrup tan. Potentially with a maple leaf on its butt 🤷🏼‍♀️
We are going up in size, to about 12 inches (Terry the T Rex was about 8 inches tall) so the increase in size will also be a challenge! Here’s to keeping my motivation!

Alright guys... here it is! About a month of crocheting little pattern pieces in hopes that I may be able to assemble it, I have #officially crocheted a sewing pattern!!! Woop!
Pattern is Timmy T-Rex from the Funky Friends Factory.
This new Dino is headed to my much loved nephew, who got an estimate of a special surprise by Christmas, but this went far better than I thought.
Any suggestions on what to make next??

All these pieces... crocheting a sewing pattern is a lot more work than I though. But oh boy, I am SO excited for when I can piece this together!

So I was thinking to myself, “I need a challenge” so I guess I’m going to try to crochet a sewing pattern. Am I crazy? Yes. Will it work? Who knows. But it will be a great exercise in odd shapes and textures!
