A DnD Story

So I started playing DnD a couple of months ago when my Pokemon league decided to start a campaign. I’ve never played DnD befor so there was a lot of “can I do this?” from me, including wanting to be a magikarp which didn’t happen(sigh).

So in our campaign along with the normal fighting story we have a “passive” side where we can take on jobs and earn money and get items to help with the main story. More people have almost or actually died in “passive” than in the main story. From attacking the gaurds of the town to weather events to us fighting each other to when my character evolved and created a mushroom cloud, we have all at one point or another almost died in the noncombative side of our campaign.

This coming Saturday, February 6, at 8pm local time, followers of “Roosh V”- noted sexist, racist, homophobic, and overall horrible monster (not a human being)- will be holding secret meetings to rally for rape to be legalized. You didn’t read this wrong THEY WANT RAPE TO BE LEGALIZED. 

This shit is dangerous af, and as they have barred anyone who isn’t male or straight, so we need all our white male allies to gather and shut this shit down. If you are a straight man of colour, please be careful. Even though the website says the meeting is for straight men of all races, the Roosh V following has also been known to be very racist and xenophobic.

Here is how the meeting will take place, as according to their website (I’m not going to link it because it does not deserve any hits, but all the info here is authentic- you may google and see for yourself):

We will have 165 meetings in 43 countries for our international meetup day on February 6, 2016 at 8PM local time. Hosts have been instructed to wait at the meeting point from 8:00-8:20pm before moving on to the final location. If you arrive at the meeting point at 8:21pm, you will miss the meetup. Arriving on time within the window is absolutely paramount.

To identify your fellow tribesmen, ask the following question to a man you suspect is there for the meetup: “Do you know where I can find a pet shop?” If you are asked this question, answer in the affirmative: “Yes, it’s right here.” You can then introduce yourself and get details about where to proceed at 8:20. If you ask someone for the pet shop and they appear confused or actually try to direct you to a real pet shop, they’re not there for the meetup.

If you are a woman, DO NOT GO, your safety is at risk. Roosh V has made it very apparent that your presence might be met with violence.

I won’t be able to attend a shut down (obvs- brown gay turban guy), but we need to shut this down ASAP. So to all my white brothers who identify as allies, now is your time to stand up and act.

I’m sorry but the typo(if that is a typo) really got me and now all I can think is ”Your life is a lie!” or “The watermelon is a lie!” and it just makes me giggle.

Yesterday, for the first time in my lie, I purchased a whole watermelon. It’s huge. I’m living the dream, people!

These are some of the geodes I’ve gotten at a yearly gem and mineral show. These are really cool because you get to pick from the unopened geodes they have and they’ll cut it open right there for you(except the first one, I bought that one already open). I’m not sure what mineral or gem most of them are so feel free to tell me what you think.

Okay so I’m making my own fake cards ‘cause I thought it’d be fun and this is the result so far.

1st picture: The upper left is a print on regular printer paper, the upper right is my first fake card print, bottom left is a legit card, bottom right is a test of the ink.

Ok so the fake card looks better in the pictures than in person because it’s very pixelated and the colors are washed out, but it’s still pretty good for a first try. I also found out they print each color in a layer with the writing last so I’m working on that so it will look cleaner. I’m having a lot of fun learning about the printing process for the cards and how my own printer works! These cards are fake and I will mark them as such so there isn’t any confusion.

I found this out while shopping with my Mom like a month ago, I started laughing hysterically at the onions, people were concerned.

Vidalia is a type of onion and I hate myself for learning this while stocking onions.

The Aluminum rings are actually really light, about 2,000 of them equals 1 ounce.

It will have mostly tiny dice that I use as damage counters in pokemon. I’ve looked into metal dice before but they were all so expensive even the little ones.

So I’m making a chain maille dice bag, Euro 4in1 weave, 20ga 3/32’‘ Aluminum jump rings, I’m about 900 rings in and seriously reconsidering my life choices.
