Nothing But Regrets || Castle OS
I walked into the castle and stopped.  My feet ached, my abdomen was bleeding profusely, and I had lost feeling in my arm.  I looked down at my hands that were covered in Titus’ blood, the frozen gold key pressed tightly into my palm.  The only words I could think were “What have I done”.  The warm air surrounded me and I almost wanted to cry.  Despite the short time I had spend in the arena, I could barely remember the last time I was so warm.  I looked around, the room was full of expensive looking chairs and from the ceiling hung a giant chandelier.  Around the room were four doors.  I knew it wouldn’t be long before another tribute entered the castle.  I looked down at my key and began to try locks until I finally found that mine opened the yellow one and stepped inside.
I couldn’t believe what I saw.  I quickly closed the door and locked it to prevent anyone from coming in.  For safe measures, I propped a chair against the handle.  I looked around the room and sunk to the floor, wondering if I actually had died in the fight, and had gone to heaven.  Never had I seen anything like this in a games.  The GMs never gave luxuries to the tributes.  This had to be a trick, some sick mind game, none of it was real.
But I bought into it anyways, desperate for warmth, food, and medicine.  I rushed towards the steaming bath in the middle of the room, quickly stripping down and stepping inside.  The water quickly flooded with red and I almost screamed as my wounds touched the burning water.  I let them wash out for a few moments before getting out and walking over to the first aid kit, and stitch myself up.  My ear was gone, a whole chunk of it was lying in the snow, but luckily, I could still hear out of it.  I wrapped it in a bandage with a little ointment that would hopefully stop infection.  I stitched up the wound on my arm, though I was sure the damage was irreversible, and bandaged that as well.  Lastly, I stitched up my ribs and wrapped a long bandage around my entire torso.
After the bloody water had drained, I refilled the tub so I could bathe more properly, and sat there until the water was cold.  I brushed through my hair and braided it away from my face, and wrapped it around my head so there would be nothing for bloodthirsty tributes to grab onto.  I got dressed in the set of fresh clothes and headed towards the food.  I couldn’t believe my eyes as they scanned over pots of steaming soup, warm roles, fruits, and best of all, chocolate.  I stuffed my face until I couldn’t even breathe, and lied on the floor, trying to ignore the pain that surrounded my body and filled my mind.  I couldn’t stop the tears as they ran down my cheeks.  After an hour of wallowing in self pity, I dragged myself over to the tub to heave up my dinner, angry at myself for not being able to keep it down.  I would never have enough strength for tomorrow against tributes that were probably less injured and most definitely cancer free.
I picked myself up and limped over to the bed and allowed myself to be swallowed by the endless covers and fluffy pillows.  The warmth of the fire called to me, and I wrapped myself up in the blankets and curled up into a ball, trying my best not to crinkle and burst my stitches.  I tried to sleep but every time I closed my eyes I picture my dagger going into Titus’ neck and they popped back open glossy and red.  Occasionally, I drifted off for a few minutes and the fight replayed in my head and I woke back up screaming.  After what seemed like hours of misery, a slight beeping filled the room as a parachute drifted towards me.  I sat up and opened it, taking out a vial of tracker jacker venom and reading the note.
"You’re only alive because my brother had a conscience. You’d better make his death worth something and get back to your family, since Titus won’t be coming back to his." - Skein Galloway
Skein must have been Titus’ brother.  I had just brutally murdered Titus on live television and here was his brother, sending me something to help me win.  I sobbed into my pillow, sobbing because I had left a 2 pair of parents without their children, a brother without his best friend.  I had killed two people, and tomorrow I would have to kill three more.
I cried and I cried.
I cried so hard, that I didn’t even noticed when the sobs finally ceased.  I had worn myself out, and fell into a deep slumber.  It wouldn’t be a peaceful sleep, but my nightmare had just begun.

As Juniper is relaxing a sponsorship falls down for her as well and inside is a small vial with a label on it. The label reads ‘TRACKER JACKER VENOM’ on it in big, bold letters. Inside the little parachute there is a note.

Titus and I were walking through the woods when we came across Quinn and Gideon.
A deep, unfamiliar rage settled within me and I fought, eventually killing Quinn, but not before she broke my nose and messed up my left forearm.
We found a cabin to rest in after regrouping and dividing supplies, and I fell asleep under the space blanket with Titus.

When The Fog Lifts || Arena OS (Post KS)
As the fog lifted, Titus felt the fight drain out of him. Struggling to his feet, he surveyed the carnage surrounding him and Juniper. The intense feeling of rage had gone and all he was left with was a full body of pain. He limped over to Quinn’s body, pulling his spear back out, and wiping the blood on the snow. “We should grab what we can and hide the rest.” He said solemnly, rolling Quinn slightly to pull her pack off and shoving the smaller weapons into the pack.
Juniper nodded, walking back over to where Gideon’s body lay on the ground. Unlike Quinn, his body was still relatively unharmed in appearance. Now that it was all over, she barely knew what to do with herself. A call to hurry up from Titus helped her push those thoughts from her mind, as she scooped up his two packs.

The Wolves Are Waiting For A Morning Meal || Arena OS (Task)
Titus woke to the sounds of the shabby wooden door of this and Juniper’s hut being smashed down. Scrambling to his feet, he grabbed his spear and yelled for her to wake up. “Eleven! Wake the fuck up!” He shouted, kicking the couch he had been laying on towards the door where four very angry, very hungry looking wolves stood, their sharp teeth bared. He looked over at June who was already wide awake, dagger in hand as she looked around at the wolves nervously.

A small parachute floats down to Juniper. Inside of the box that steams infront of you is a portion of seafood gumbo, a small serving of white rice, some cornbread and a slice of sweet potato pie. There’s a small note attached in neat handwriting that you know to be your mothers, it reads.
"Saved you a plate, we miss you at home! Love you June, stay strong! Posie and Dill.”

We got the deer back to the house and Titus quickly began working on starting a fire.  I used one of the smaller throwing knives to cut the large sections of meat into smaller pieces that would cook faster, because I knew we wouldn't want the fire going for long.  The nice thing was, it was dark, so the smoke wouldn't stand out as much against the night sky.
I glazed the meat with a bit of honey so it wouldn't be as awful tasting and began to roast it over the fire.  I used a few branches to create a grill to lay the meat on, occasionally using a skinny twig to flip them over.  I didn't have enough time to cook them as thoroughly as I'd like to, and they had no seasoning, but it would have to work.  Titus put out the fire and we sat in silence as we ate our tough meat.  There was a bit of flavor from the honey, but not much.  Definitely not my best work.
We had plenty of meat left over, which was nice because we wouldn't have to worry about food tomorrow.  I actually went to bed on a full stomach.  I handed a piece of hard candy and popped one into my own mouth as we settled in.  The cabin definitely didn't feel homey, but it was getting late, and it was probably the safest place to stay.
"We don't know how far the next cabin is, if there are any more out there. And if there are, what's to say they're any better?"  I said.  "I think we should stay here, it's late.  We can move in the morning and look for a better place for tomorrow night."  I suggested.  I pulled my coat tighter over me and layed down on the ground, trying to use my hood as some sort of pillow as The Fallen played in the sky.  I was shocked as I saw both Leif and Shea's faces in the sky, two of the only friends I had made during training.  I wanted to cry, but I didn't.  I laid back down on the ground and closed my eyes.  "We survived the first day."  I said quietly.  "See you in the morning, One."

I nodded at his words.  "We just have to be quick, the meat will spoil fast if we don't skin it soon."  He handed me his spear, but got extremely serious, telling me it wouldn't be a good idea to kill him with his own weapon.
"Don't you trust me?"  I said, raising an eyebrow.  I yanked the spear from him and gave him a look.  "Just take care of the deer One."  I gathered up our stuff as he dragged the animal behind the rock.  I tried to scatter the red snow with my feet to dilute the trail at least a little bit.  It was still obvious where we were headed.
"Actually, I do."  I smiled, handing him his spear and pulling out my dagger.  I began to skin the deer, slicing the blade cleanly between the animal's flesh and the meat beneath it.  I removed the hooves, and eventually the head.  It wasn't a quick process, but I moved sloppily to get it done as fast as I could.  After the deer was skinned pushed it towards Titus.  "Unless you want to make a coat out of that, I suggest you dispose of it somewhere discretely."  I warned before continuing.  I split the deer down it's back and began to cut the meat away from it's bones.  "This is really better if it ages for a few weeks, it will be horribly tough if we eat it fresh."  I grumbled, but knew we didn't have a choice.  After I finished, I wiped off my dagger in the snow.  "Help me wrap up the meat, I can cook it back at the cabin."  I said, quickly untying my makeshift pack to add the meat.

"Something might use it as a home."  I shrugged as we walked towards it.  I nodded, keeping my dagger raised.  He didn't need to remind me, but I guess he assumed I wouldn't always be on high alert not being a career, I guess I didn't blame him.
"Oh yeah- right."  I said, forgetting how dark my hair must look against the solid white air.  I tucked the odd braid/ponytail combination my stylist had come up with into my coat and pulled up my hood.  I zipped up my coat to my neck so that as little of my caramel skin was showing as possible.
There was nothing by the rock.   I dragged my fingers over it, looking for tiny tracks in the snow.  I saw a few that looked like it could be from a bird, but there weren't any in site.  We decided to keep moving.
After a long time, my stomach felt even tighter and it took everything I had not to tear into that jar of honey, but I kept going.  Suddenly, Titus put his arm out and I stopped, keeping my dagger raised.  "What?"  I whispered, but he just smirked and waited a moment before throwing his spear forward.  It smacked into the side of a deer and the animal crumpled into the snow.  "Alright!"  I said with a grin as we began to run towards it.  It's blood had already started seeming into the white canvas beneath it.  "Can you carry it back?"  I asked.  It wasn't horribly big, it looked like it could be a baby, but it would still probably be awfully heavy.

We walked towards the door and stepped out into the frigid air once again.  We stepped off the porch and left the cabin we had decided was our new base, which was fine with me.   It was a little warmer in there anyway.
I nodded at Titus’ warnings, looking around for anything that stood out against the stark white blanket of snow.  I kind of liked how he was already trying to keep me safe, it helped me trust him more.
"I- I think I see something,"  I said, pointing my dagger to the distance.  "It's like a rock or something maybe.  We could check it out?"  I looked over at Titus.  "What do you think One?"

The woods are colder after the slight warmth of the cabin but you acclimatize quickly, there’s no tracks to be had in the snow but in the distance you can see a small rock formation that’s glazed in frozen ice. If you like you can attempt to fish where you’ll catch small fish or you can continue to hunt in the forest.

"I agree" I said as I slid the broken chair leg into the knot and lifted it over my shoulder.  "I don't want to leave anything here though, incase someone else stops by."  I explained as I picked up my dagger again.  "We can take turns carrying it, but since you'll be doing most of the hunting, I can take it for now."  I smiled.
"If we don't find anything in the forest, maybe I could track down that mouse."  I said, though my stomach practically turned upside down from my memories of the cooking station with Shea where we learned how to roast mouse.  "Let's hope we catch something."  I said as I headed towards the door.

I grinned as I saw that there was food in the cupboard, even if it was old and stale.  I walked forward, putting my dagger on the table next to it.  I licked my lips looking over our goodies.  Despite the rumbling in my stomach, I knew I needed to ration it so I said, "Let's save it."  I stuffed a few of the candies into my pants pockets and laid out my plastic on the floor, dumping the rest of the food in it and bringing all four sides up to make a knot.
"Try breaking off the chair leg, I can tie it to this and carry it over my shoulder like a hobo."  I suggested with a smile.
