After a mountain of panic, confusion, and technical mishaps, we have found a new site to post our scanlations— Cubari! We have already uploaded our previous chapters for your viewing pleasure. You will be able to find these through the link below. In addition to our translation, we have also linked Teawaffles’ account, as they have scanlated a portion of Part 1 and The Remains. Yuumori Guide master post- meaning, all we have from Moriarty the Patriot (March 2025)

I made this post for new fans on reddit who only saw anime, I thought it might be useful to post it here too:

For new fans who know only anime, sadly only like 60% of manga was adapted and a lot was changed, especially in first episodes. That’s why I always recommend to start reading manga from chapter 1, not pick from where anime ended. Many arcs were cut and for those that weren’t cut completely a lot scenes inside those arcs weren’t shown. Manga gives a lot to characters backstory, more screentime and build up relationships. For example from Moriarty side: Louis worries and development, Fred too, whole character of Moneypenny was cut out and Moran arc where she was introduced. A lot scenes of Sherlock and John friendship are missing, few scenes between Sherlock and Mycroft talking and showing their relationship as brothers. That’s why for those who are lost where to start and what we have I made list of all official Yuumori related stuff:

Official manga and light novels:

Moriarty the Patriot Manga part 1 chapter 1-76 (19 volumes)

Moriarty the Patriot REMAINS (3 volumes) - It’s bridge between part 1 and part 2, beside that it adapts some of stories from Light Novels (1 story from vol1, 1 story from vol2, whole of vol3)

Moriarty the Patriot manga part 2 chapter 77-? (It currently started and keeps going)

Light Novels (3 volumes at this point), those were new stories that weren’t in manga (until they were adapted in Remains when Author worked on part 2 plot). Each volume have 3-4 stories. Pattern looks mostly like this, first story focuses more on William, middle ones on Moriarty team, last one around Sherlock’s side. Highly recommended to read, especially Forbidden Games for sherliam fans is must to read. Albert’s Drinking contest is such fun ride too, Louis, John and Bond stories are so nice too. Adaptations:

Anime -24 episodes -2 OVAS (1st ova is original story, 2nd one adapts Tea party chapter) -2 Drama CDs that were added only to Japanese version of anime on Blurays, (first drama CD was Baskerville arc, 2nd Adventure of the one student.) Drama CDs are audio only made with anime saiyuus.

Moriarty the Patriot Musical, in short in fandom Morimu - Five main musicals each around 3 hours. It adapts most of manga from all adaptations

Op1: Durham chapters, Noahtic arc, Study in Scarlet arc

Op2: Baskerville arc, Train arc, Scandal in British Empire

Op3: Jack the Ripper arc, Yard arc and Adventure of one student

Op4: Whiteley Arc, Mary arc, Milverton arc

Moriarty the Patriot Stage (morisuite)

2 stages around 2 hours. Just like musical it’s theater adaptation but no songs, it’s starts quite faithful but after Frida arc skips to Scandal in British Empire and had some problems… Anyway it was a lot less popular than musicals so only 2 parts, no English subtitles, you can search for it on Chinese bilibili if it wasn’t taken down. It’s still interesting to watch even if costumes weren’t best, they adapt William’s kidnaping that sadly wasn’t adapted anywhere else, Frida arc was creative too. Side note that musicals and stages were done by different teams and actors.
