MISTAKETALE FAQ

The FAQ was made for questions that get asked, a lot, a lot a lot. So please consider reading this if you´re going to ask a question OOC or IC!! You can ask anything still though, this will not stop you.

AU QUESTIONS

Q: What is Mistaketale?

A: Mistaketale is a comedy Undertale AU about two friends, Frisk and Chara and their monster friends (and family) from the Underground. Though not everything is rainbows...

Q: Who is Surge?

A: Surge is an OC made by me in 2023. I was obsessed with Surge from the STH comics so i made a whole new character out of that. She´s the soul trait of vengeance, though that doesn´t really fit with her character post-underground.

Q: Why "Mistaketale"?

A: All of the AU´s mistakes were collected and formed into something better and new, with new twists of course. Hence the "Mistake" part of the AU.

Q: What are Frisk, Chara, ect.´s pronouns?

A: In the masterpost, character sheets section, click any of the bios to be redirected to pronouns.cc!! There you will find everything you need to know.

Q: Is this AU centered on X or Y character?

A: Yes, but no at the same time. It´s not a "Sans-centered" or "Player controls Frisk or Chara" thing, it´s something that tries to be different following every story of every character.

Q: Does Player exist in this AU?

A: No, the Player doesn´t-- and does too. The characters have their own lifes, Frisk and Chara are part of them. You can consider the "Player" the representation of the author (Inko/me) in some parts of the history, but she doesn´t have any control over the timeline or it´s inhabitants.

Q: Is there a Deltarune variant of Mistaketale?

A: Indeed, it is called Astrorush. You can ask the characters here too if you wish.

Q: Why is X character like that and Y character doesn´t like A character?

A: First, this is not or intended to be Vanilla Undertale/Canon Undertale. My AU, my rules. Second, you can joke around with ships, but as i said, i cannot be forced to make anything "canon" like that in this AU.

Q: About the last question, which ships will be here?

A: I´m not against any ships you want to do with my characters, i enjoy seeing fanarts and other things, but please keep in mind not everything will be canon. In answer to your question, Sans x Muffet, Papyrus x Mettaton, Toriel x Asgore and Alphys x Undyne.

Q: Can i ask anything as my own AUs, OCs or roleplay blogs?

A: Of course!! I love seeing the creativity of everyone and i don´t mind you having them here :)

FANART, FANFICS AND CREATOR QUESTIONS

Q: Can i create NSFW content of your AU?

A: No, not at all. If you mean gore or blood, then yes. Lewd content is totally not allowed since half of the cast are minors. I know this won´t get any recognition and people may end up doing so, but at least stay away from the kids.

Q: What is your age?

A: I honestly cannot answer that. I´ll just say that i´m a minor right now.

Q: Can i include Mistaketale´s characters or AU in general in my fanfics or writing?

A: Yes!! I´d love to see my AU getting more recognition, but as i always try to say, as long is it within the rules.

Q: Why are you like X thing or Y thing?

A: I have autism, i procrastinate and i make friends REAL FAST. I´m really friendly so i don´t try to separate anyone from talking with me.

Q: Can i tag you in fanart, or other works?

A: Yeah, you can tag either this blog or askmistaketalesurgesans (my main).

Q: There wasn´t a update on the comic or my ask hasn´t been answered, are you ok?

A: I´m usually active on my main blog, and many of other stuff related to Mistaketale goes there (I will try to reblog every Mistaketale thing from there, but i have limitations).

This is Frisk. Frisk is a human.

This is Undyne. Undyne is a fish monster.

They may have different bodies and different minds.

But they're still someone like anyone else.

That's how autism works.

It comes in different shapes and colors as an example.

But they're still normal shapes and colors.

You don't see it from inside. You see it from outside.

As you see above, they don't lack any organs, limbs, or look sick. They look like a normal person.

But they're not normal inside... At least, that's how society thinks of them.

But society accepts different genders, identities.

If that's so, why think of them as "different"?

Think of it as a phone for example. Not every phone, or device, has the same operative system. Some work differently, but still, the same functions are intended.

Autism is a spectre. Yet it was intended for them to work like any other human.

Hello, it's Inko here. I have autism too. It may or may not be accurate as you see things, but it's a spectre, and this is how i see things. I have struggled a lot on how to depict my point of view, and so i finally made it. This isn't just a "lore dump", ect. This was made for Autism Day.
