Welcome! I like bad/dumb jokes that make me laugh and I hope you do too. He/him, cis, poly, 30+ adult. I give off big stoner dad vibes. I love 5e D&D, Warhammer 40k (specifically the Thousand Sons, Night Lords, and Custodes), playing vidya games, and taking it easy! Feel free to say hi!

The Pope, desperate to avoid ever interacting with JD Vance again, went to the one place the Vice President couldn't follow: heaven.

my favorite scene in LotR as a kid was when Sam started miserably freestyling in the tower of Cirith Ungol and the only reason he ever found Frodo was because he deliriously tried to join in

The fringe Parasitic Encephalization Theory claims our nervous system is a parasite that took over the body of the earliest vertebrate ancestor. It captures 20% of the body's resources, while staying separate from the blood and being considered unique by the immune system.
While very few defend this theory, one fact supports it: If the body dies while the skull is open, the brain and spinal cord sometimes detach and briefly flail outside, in what could perhaps be an ancient host-seeking reflex.
