Any good Leonardo needs to be a little cringy. A little dorky. If I can’t see your Leo practicing “heroic” one-lines to himself in the mirror then I don’t want him. Leo can have moments where he is, definitely, cool but they cannot be something done intentionally. Any one liner he intends to say should be horrible.

Leo also shouldn’t be a “hard ass,” imo. A bit of a “teacher’s pet” is fine, but it should almost always be super easy for his brothers to pressure him into bending the rules a bit.

Someone is bound to think that this means I don’t like 2003 Leo. Let me tell you, I love him. Because he is the exact Leo I’m describing. He is cringe. He once kissed a pair of plungers because he got too caught up in the moment using them as weapons. He once tore out the backseat of a vehicle, chucked it at a the aliens pursing him, and said “have a seat.” He is cringe. I am absolutely talking about him when I’m talking about good Leo’s.

"Kill your darlings" means "if something is holding you back, get rid of it, even if it sounds pretty."

That's it! That's all it means! It means if you're stuck and stalled out on your story and you could fix the whole block by removing something but you're avoiding removing that thing because it's good, you remove that thing. That's the darling.

It does NOT mean

That you have to get rid of your self-indulgent writing

That you should delete something just because you like it (?wtf?)

That you need to kill off characters (??? what)

That you have to pare your story down to the absolute bare bones

That you have to delete anything whatsoever if you don't want to

The POINT is that you STOP FEELING GUILTY for throwing out good writing that isn't SERVING THE STORY.

The POINT is that you don't get so HUNG UP on the details that you lose sight of the BIG PICTURE.

A/N: WE’RE BACK!!! Woohoo! My exams are done, and I passed! And my internship is done! My pills are working and my fingers are itching to get back to the keyboard. So here you go. A little something while I get back into the back💙

Warnings: Calm sex, rough sex. No surprise really, lol.

You and Leonardo’s intimate and sexual relationship has been through some changes over time, with a clear difference from before he traveled to South America, and after.

Before Leo left for South America, your moments in the bedroom tended to be rather - vanilla is not the right word at all - calm, slow, with a lot of focus on eye contact and controlled movements, mainly from Leo’s side.

Now, you never found this slow sex dissatisfying at all. No, you and Leo both actually found it to be quite fulfilling. Nice and sweet sex, you could have in the comfort of your or Leo’s room, without ever becoming loud enough, to alert anybody of your naughty actions.

But then Leo decided to take an extended journey in the jungles of South America, and things changed. You were left back in New York City, finding yourself more sexually frustrated than you had ever been in your life. And Leo too, found himself struggling, with nothing but his own hands and you on his mind, to relieve him of some of his frustration.

So can you imagine how things went, when Leo finally decided to come back home?

You and Leo got down and dirty in a way that you had ever done before. Loud and rough, finally getting all that the two of you had been holding back, flowing freely. And after that night, there was no going back.

Though slow sex still would happen from time to time, you and Leo had pretty much gotten addicted to the rough nights, with skin slapping together, the bed frame creaking, and loud moans and sounds, keeping Leo’s family, and your neighbours and roommates awake and annoyed.

The focus on eye contact and controlled movements went straight out the door, the night Leo had you on all four, where neither you or Leo could control yourselves.

It was as if the two of you had been hungry for each other for so long, and even after finally getting your hands back on each other again, it just wasn’t enough. Not that you complained. That just meant you had many more wild nights to explore together.

I made this drawing out of spite, I gotta be honest, because finding out about this deleted 2012 scene from Season 5 today infuriated me- LMAO

To think that we could have gotten this in the episode, "Heart of Evil" but we didn't dude. Probably because it makes Donnie look bad, which makes sense because he has weird behaviors all the time around April- So yeah, he looks bad. 💀 Lmao

I feel like they didn't include this scene because they wanted to keep the illusion that they had with Donnie and April in Season 5- Where 2012 Apritello is "so much better now" and their dynamic is "completely fixed" and there's nothing to discuss because "look at them now". But that's also why I kind of love this clip, because look at April's expressions here and notice the tone in her voice?? She's very unhappy and this is very reminiscent of their dynamic in Seasons 2 + 3 to me.

This is speculation on my part, but if the show was trying to imply that they're a couple now at this point with Season 5 (Considering the, "When World's Collide" special / Which technically came after, "Heart of Evil but I'm still counting it- / and the Ice Cream Kitty Music Video that in my opinion got ruined because they included that kiss between them at the end- 💀 Lmao), This would have totally ruined that image. Because if they were together, why would April be so annoyed that her supposed boyfriend (Or almost boyfriend-) put the the team name, "Kick Butt Babes" on her instead of, "Team More Awesome"? 🤨

Also I didn't have enough energy to draw this part, so I'm just going to say it here instead, but this is also gross because of Leo too. Mikey said Team Brainiac was adamant about the name, which includes Leo. I mean, notice how quickly Leo decided to change the subject in the deleted scene- 💀 Lmao
