What’s Next?
As I have been writing this semester for my English Class, with much regret my ability to be able to stay up to date on these blogs will be very limited. I wish to further talk about the issues I have discussed as all the recent shootings are making our local officials question our current gun laws, and with disgust once again trying to take away those writes, which will only put us in greater danger. This is till a topic that will be a great debate til who knows when. Its quite difficult for either party to take away this write as it it is simply violating our Constitution, but this will not stop them from coming up with other proposals. I hope that you will all continue to grab a hold of the issue and never let it rest as we have a write to bear arms.  I wish to continue to write, but with my work load it will be quite difficult to do so.

Article
The article I am going to be sharing with you is written by Erich Pratt from U.S. News.  The article that the author wrote discusses guns laws and their lack of affect they have, the author  make comparisons to all the many states with very strict gun laws, but yet none of them have a very good turnout. Although, many states such as Chicago as en example the author used has one of the strictest gun laws, but yet has more homicides by weapons than any other state. The author points out that when these mass shootings occur that they are not going to police stations or other areas, which they know the majority of the individuals inside are armed, but instead pick spots that have “gun free zones” or that they know have no weapons. I believe this author is very credible in the fact that you cannot deny statics, there is no statics that correlate stricter gun laws to having safer communities and that more guns make a community more dangerous. They point out very obvious things such as shooter pick areas where individuals cannot defend themselves, as well as taking guns out of the hands of law abiding mental sane individuals only makes are communities more dangerous.

Stricter Gun Control Does Not Mean Less Crime
I am writing and going to show you statics and research through the sources that I am presenting you, that in fact that stricter gun control does not mean less crime. The first study I want to show you is through Harvard University. They study the United States and other European Countries and analyzed their gun laws and their correlation to crime, whether violent or non violent. Its interesting to see that some of the most gun stricken countries in Europe in fact have less gun crime.  http://www.law.harvard.edu/students/orgs/jlpp/Vol30_No2_KatesMauseronline.pdf

It Is a lot Deeper Issue Than Meets the Eye
I am writing this blog in response of a by an Individual named Talon (http://iluvoden.tumblr.com/post/100120045321/i-can-tolerate-most-things-but-when-ignorant) . I found this blog as I searched, “current Issues “, through the tumblr search bar. As someone who really respects our Second Amendment right and likes to talk about, maybe too much, but when it comes to current issues I feel like it is a really big issue among many of the other things. This blog goes on to point out how ignorant people are for blaming weapons for the issues compared to the deeper issue on this and you would argue that it is peoples mental health that is in question and that a weapon  is an in-adamant object that can do no harm unless used by someone, for the wrong purposes. This stands out to be quite greatly, she had many great points of how we as the people are wrong in who we blame. I compare this to drunk driving. Lets say you have an individual who went to a bar or whatever and is drinking, lets say a Bud Light and decides to drive home in his Ford Truck or whatever he may be driving drunk, he runs a red light and t-bones another car and kills the individual driving it. Who do we blame in this situation? The company Bud Light for what the alcohol does and effects to  the individuals  body  or lets say we blame Ford, for making a vehicle that killed someone or because they don’t have a breathalyzer inside of it you have to blow into before it starts. I find the irony in this as drunk driving and vehicles cause way more fatalities every year than weapons do, but what do we blame when a weapon kills someone? We blame the individual who shot them? No, we blame the gun. I find this quite interesting to the point, that  it baffles me. How do we blame an object that can do no harm, other then when it is used for the wrong purposes. So the solution to this for all the “sane” people is to ban weapons and do away with them completely, right?  This isn't just  a tool or object used for much more than just hunting as this individual said in their blog I have to disagree with that it is a lot more than just that it stems down to a deeper issue than that, the blogger looks at it as the repercussions it has on their community compared to the major effects it has on a country as a whole. I would advise this individual to point out that increased gun control, does not make them community any safer, as these statics point out https://www.justfacts.com/guncontrol.asp it is in fact the  opposite pointing out these stats and providing evidence would make their point come across better. But lets take it back to my point taking away gun rights, because of the act of a few is just wrong. It leaves current law abiding Americans defenseless not only for protecting themselves and their families, but to the government and their possibly tyranny. We take away our 2nd amendment rights we might as well lay over and die, because we will soon be no better than communist countries and we will have no freedom, because this is a first huge step into that. We already have a biased free speech system, freedom of religion is no longer really protected, if we our in the contrary to anything such as the couple in Oregon who didn’t agree with gay marriage they get sued and get major backlash. Racism is big as ever as it in fact it has turned roles. We need to look as a whole on society where we have gone wrong, I am not against gay marriage or for racism, but I look at this as our rights are being imposed on more so than anything else. We live in a current society where you can not go against the grain with out major backlash. I believe that individuals should be able to get married to whatever sex they want, but those who disagree with it should  not be criticized and not be able to express their free speech. I am sure in the Oregon’s couples situation I am sure there was another baker who would have been fine with doing it, but instead we decided to bankrupt that poor couples business, because  they disagree. It something to think about.

Why Stricter Gun Control Laws is Not the Answer to our Current Crime Rate
Readers,
My blog is going to touch on why I believe that having less strict gun control laws are more beneficial opposed to having strict gun control laws. I am going to show you through these sources how they have proven that crime rates in areas with stricter gun control have more issues involving deadly assault.  I believe that as you read this it may stand out to you and you may possibly decide that your prior views may have been a little blurry, I know mine changed even as a big advocate of the Second Amendment prior to. I have always believed in being able to carry firearms, but this reiterated the fact on why we even need to have them more than ever.
The firs item I would like to show you use from the website https://www.justfacts.com/guncontrol.asp
In here it is going to show us that cities with stricter gun control laws have a higher rate of crimes with firearms compared to other cities that have less strict. The two cities they point out is Washington D.C and Chicago, which if many of you do not know have the strictest gun control laws in the United States.  In this article they compare them to states, which have lowered the gun control laws and the statics show that the crime rate decreased due to this.   I find this very interesting, as many people believe that having stricter gun control laws would stop this. I like to think of this what would detour you “ if you were planning a mass shooting”, theoretical. Would you want to go into place knowing the potential chance that there will be armed citizens to meet your oppression? Or would you like to know going that there would be zero force against you?
Many current Americans have felt the same way as I do as the number of people buying fire arms over the years have increased due to the fact of their protection and not for hobbies such as hunting and target shooting.

Here is some other reading that I encourage you to read as they show that stricter gun control laws do not mean less crime.
