I recently hit 20000 followers on this blog! It always blows my mind a little whenever people express interest in what I draw, and in many instances, people have gone out of their way to be kind and supportive. Thank you, so so much for everything…! ;////;

I will be doing a small giveaway of prints and books.  There will be 2 winners in this case,

One person will receive a hand-made sketchbook of about 20 blank pages with 2 small drawings at the last page, and 3 prints of their choice from my storenvy shop. (Any size)

Another will receive the "Wanderer" art book, as well as 3 prints of their choice. (If the winner happens to have the book already, they can replace the book with 2 more prints of any size.)   

To participate, you can like and reblog this post once each. (The giveaway is for followers only.) The deadline will be 11pm EST, Sunday July 28th, at which time I will use a random number generator to select the winners and will be contacting them via ask box. Shipping is world wide. :)

The Kingdom of Dreams & Madness

Documentary about Studio Ghibli to come to Japanese cinemas this fall 

The film will follow Ghibli’s founder, celebrated anime director Hayao Miyazaki as he works on his next film, Kaze Tachinu (The Wind Rises),

as well as director Isao Takahata and his new work Kaguya-hime no Monogatari (The Tale of Princess Kaguya).

Producer Toshio Suzuki is also a subject of the documentary as he works on both projects. 

The director Mami Sunada  explained why she put the word “Madness" in the title of the film:

I think that having a dream entails having a bit of madness, no matter what the profession. There are times when you will go to extremes, and times when you are feared by others for that.
