Have I ever shown you guys these very early Laudna sketches?

My instinct was very angular and sculptural with Laudna (code name Noir). Marisha moved more towards a broken doll kind of look, with wide eyes and a broken neck. Then again- I didn’t know about the broken neck! I figured it out when the fandom figured it out.

I also remember Marisha asking for a break in her skirt with crochet panes and I was legitimately worried that I wouldn’t be able to draw crochet lol. I concentrated hard at leveling up on fabrics and materials in my time with the Bells Hells. I think that effort paid off- it’s one of my favorite elements of character design, now.

Leaving aside that any variation of "this is happening because leftists wouldn't pinch their nose and vote for the lesser evil™" about the bombing of Iran is just factually untrue (Harris made it repeatedly clear that she considered Iran a threat which she would make a priority to stop with military force, and Democrat presidents don't exactly have a track record of being more opposed to bombing middle-eastern countries than Republican presidents), it's just such a perfect demonstration of first-world ghoulishness how so many self-proclaimed progressive americans will see people in another country get bombed and their first thought will be "I should use this to votescold other americans" before the bodies are even cold.

This blog is a giant fuck you to all the "mental health communities" where questioning your medication/treatment at all or simply talking about bad experiences related to psychiatry is against the rules because it's inherently labeled as "anti recovery fearmongering" to have anything negative to say about taking your meds and going to therapy. if there’s a chronically ill person in your life and they aren’t telling you about how much better they’re feeling or the amazing improvements they’ve been making, it’s probably because they are not feeling better and aren’t making improvements. They are probably feeling like shit. And if you continue to ask said chronically ill person if they’re feeling better every time you see them , they will be deeply annoyed.

Final done, after next week no more FAS courses for me I loved the idea of them but my finals were boring and limited by eurocentric "authentic" sources. If I wanted Indigenous work it didn't have much outside museum recognition, and so papers or concepts would fall short. Best I could do was a conclusion discussing limitations in the art world being greatly biased for eurocentric pov - mind you my classes often focused on American/western perspective. (But always included Japan - other Asian countries or art fell under severe orientalism). So I'm a little tired of hyping up imperialist art history I am burning out but literally after next week I have two courses left before a BA which is insane to me given how hard it's been to reach this point taking one class per term several years
