Okay wait wait wait. She did not sign up for a roommate. Chris Yukine was already a bit annoyed that Jeno had made the plans for this training trip while she was out shopping for food, but now he had the gall to pair her up with some total stranger?? Urgh. Just when you think you got the guy figured out he pulls something stupid outa left field just to mess with ya. Bastard. But dammit, she couldn’t deny that his training methods were incredibly effective.

Probably best that she just shuts up and does what he says. Then maybe she’ll survive this in one piece. 

Through gritted teeth, she managed some semblance of a positive greeting. “It certainly isn’t… horrible… meeting you. You can call me Chris Yukine.”

She was a bit taken aback by the other’s barely concealed rudeness. Did she not want to be here or something? 

“There’s no reason for you to be so on edge. I can assure you that I mean you no harm.”

“I really dislike when my partners disappear after agreeing to roleplay with me. I get that things happen and people have lives, but when I want to roleplay, people flee. It almost feels like a curse, people I start to roleplay with disappear. It upsets me.“

Rufina waved to the white haired girl, a smile on her face. She had received a call from a certain man a few days ago that he was sending on his students to Russia in order to train in a different environment. She had no idea how he knew her number or that she was a Goddess, but she decided to roll with it. Especially considering his rather generous donation via email. 

“My name is Rufina Volkov. I guess I shall be your roommate from now on~.” 

The man had said that he said nothing of her being a Goddess to his student and that for all she knew, this was just another of his crazy training regimens. 

“I look forward to getting to know you~.”

its the year 2018. entire rps are written in wingdings. icons are 1x1 with a psd that blacks the entire image out. we use several thousand tags per post. box themes have gotten so small and detailed that your computer crashes every time you open someone’s blog

Standing, the dragon put aside his bottle of sake and returned the bow. Several other such bottles already lay empty next to him, but he didn’t appear to even be flushed, much less inebriated to any degree. 

“I would be more than happy to hear you out - do come in. Do I know your father, Miss Volkov?”

She took note of the alcohol bottles lying around him but otherwise didn’t comment. Whatever the reason for them, it wasn’t her business. 

“I see. I do apologize then. I know how it is to receive unexpected visits.” 

She stepped forward, finally taking time to observe the shrine yard around her. It was quite well kept, as if tended to daily. Not to mention the spiritual power present was quite potent. It seems he stood a bit higher on the celestial totem pole than she did. Thankfully, he didn’t seem to be a Major God, because then this whole situation would end up being incredibly strenuous to her.

“You might know him, yes. His name is Veles and he’s a Major Slavic God who presides over the earth, water, forests, cattle, fertility, snakes, pasture, wolves, medicine, music and magic. A lot of domains, I know. He said he’d have loved to visit himself, but this time of year is quite busy for him due to all the harvests taking place.”

She chuckled softly as she imagined her father scurrying back and forth with all the prayers he had to intend to. 

“Oh! I almost forgot! He gave me something to extend to you as a sign of good faith.”

She reached into her napsack and pulled out a bottle of her father’s favorite vodka. She presented it to Akira while partaking in another bow.

“This vodka is known to have healing properties and is my father’s go-to brew for celebrations. I hope that it brings you the same joy that it brings him.”
