| The soft sound of the tide coming in was all she could hear now. It was things like this that kept her sane, at least as sane as one could get with the constant tug of primal urges that belonged to a serpent of inhuman means. She only had to look into the water to find out how hideous she looked. Even when she was in her less scaly form, the eyes are what bugged her the most. Green and piercing, but not in the intimidating way that she would have liked. They looked evil and as much bad as she had done in her life, Karai wanted to believe she wasn’t evil. |
