crowley learned pole dancing a few years back from some very nice and talented young ladies while in a nightclub on business. being part snake, the concept of slithering and contorting himself around a pole came quite naturally to him.

"I was connected to its memory. When it fired, I felt it die! Like I was dying! I was scared..."
here’s a screenshot redraw/reinterpretation from detroit: become human! I’ve been completely a d d i c t e d to this game lately (my friends can confirm, it’s literally all I’ve been talking about) ⭕️
I made a few versions of this with various amounts of LED glow effects and I’m still not 100% sure about it, but I figured I would post this version.

some info about my aliens!
I know it looks like I just draw random aliens without thinking about it but I actually have a shit ton of lore in my head that I stick to every time I draw aliens and here it is
SKIN: their skin colour varies individual to individual between green, blue, and grey, and shades in between. yellow-green and purple-grey skin colours are not unheard of, but is not common. skin varies between pastel colour and bright saturated colour (can be naturally brighter or lighter, or can depend on lifestyle or health). the sun does not change their skin colour. skin is somewhat matte with a subtle shine, sort of like brushed aluminum but more like a skin texture. compared to human skin, they look sort of like they’re wearing highlighter all over their bodies. their skin is slightly waxy-smooth to the touch. they are completely hairless.
HANDS: they have four fingers on each hand. a thumb, index finger, middle finger, and ring finger. they have no fingernails.
FEET: their feet have three toes each. the toes are all the same size and shape, compared to human feet where the toes all look different and taper downwards to the edge of the foot. the feet have no toenails.
FACE: long, round head with a pointed chin. very soft features. no skull/bones in head to shape it, but a combination of bladders and cartilage shapes face instead. very little physical difference between individual’s faces if it all, they rely on other factors to tell each other apart (perhaps technology or fashion, in addition to skin colour and tone). no eyebrows, but there is dimples above and below the eyes that help with facial expressions. generally they do not rely on facial expressions to convey language, and usually maintain a flat/dull affect (it’s not an enforced societal thing, just that they don’t really see the importance of facial expressions. some aliens will be highly expressive without any problems from their society, but it doesn’t really affect anything else. it’s just kind of a quirk). no ears.
BLOOD: teal/blue-green in colour. looks different depending on skin colour and lightness/brightness. when the blood shows through the skin (i.e.: blushing, etc) green aliens generally show it as blue-green, blue aliens show it as a darker less saturated blue, grey aliens show as muted/unsaturated darkish blue, yellow-green aliens show as bright green, and purple-grey aliens show as sort of a darkish periwinkle indigo colour.
BODY: few bones in body (bones only in limbs and major joints like elbows and knees), mostly relying on cartilage and bladders for body structure. very low muscle definition. limbs are thin. joints are knobby, as it is one of the few areas with actual bones. the aliens are not built for physical labour. muscle definition can be built (though it is uncommon), but it doesn’t increase physical strength by very much. no belly button (they are very perplexed about this on human bodies at first, and humans find it hilarious). height varies between ~5′ and ~6′5 (~150 to ~200 cm), most falling somewhere in the middle of the range. some aliens are can be fat (due to the bladders, bones, and cartilage being naturally larger than skinny aliens; all aliens have a very small amount of fat in their bodies regardless of size), which makes the entire body more round and less knobby. fat aliens are usually physically stronger than skinny aliens. fatness is relatively uncommon and is entirely based on what humans understand as random “genetic” mutations.
AGE: very long lifespans. aliens are “born” as adults. aliens don’t age very much until they get close to the end of their natural lifespan, where the skin starts to lose colour and the bladders inside their bodies that help with body structure shrink slightly, causing a slight “saggy” or “deflated” look.
GENDER: no sex characteristics at all (no genitalia, nothing). gender is nonexistent/irrelevant to aliens. “gender” expression depends on the individual’s personality or is just like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. aliens reproduce using cloning from one individual, or cloning with combined genetic material from two or more individuals, and are gestated in large tubes over a very long time to full human size. reproduction is not a huge deal since the lifespan is so long. reproduction is not a part of relationship building and is instead arranged by the government, like jury duty. child/parent relationships are not held to a high importance; they recognize that one may be the parent of another but here is no power dynamic attached to it.
CULTURE: two distinct eras of culture: pre human contact, and post human contact. neither humans nor aliens have ever interacted with any other type of intelligent life except with each other, so they’re both extremely fascinated with each other. contact is very tense at first since neither party has any idea of what to expect, but eventually everyone is okay with it. pre human contact alien culture is very peaceful and monotonous. everything is the same, everyone is held in complete equality, and emotions are not held to a high degree of importance. all aliens are asexual and aromantic. partnership occurs, but they are more life business relationships or friendships ( can involve any number of aliens and post human contact, the aliens discover variety and emotion, they love how interesting the humans are, how expressive they are, how they all look different. they love the colourful clothes they wear, and love the different types of hair and how many different styles that hair can have. after discovering and getting used to humans, many aliens adopt some “human” customs inducing but not limited to: more expressive faces (they have to learn how to express properly since it’s not really an intuitive thing to them), clothing and fashion including wigs (some human clothes fit but a lot had to be custom made for their bodies) and gender expression (aliens learned that there are different types of gender expression from humans. after human contact, many aliens adopted femme or masc styles, or anything in between). post human contact, while a lot of aliens adopted human customs to some degree, a lot also decided to preserve their old culture from the pervious era. they had to learn how to keep these new adopted customs at peace with the old customs. also aliens learned new “bad” ideas from humans, like war, murder, greed, crime, etc. these concepts existed in alien culture to a very small degree before meeting humans, but after meeting humans and adopting parts of their culture, things like this become more common, and they have to learn how to balance the cultures and prevent things like that from happening. aliens also learn about different types of relationships (romantic, familial, etc) and experiment about that too.
