I was the girl who gleamed with so much hope and happiness until I found myself lost in the depths of the night. Darkness; without a moon nor the stars. I kept searching for a sign; some form of light to help guide me back to happiness. I searched and searched until exhaustion caught up to me. As I stared into the darkness with eyes full of hopelessness and sorrow, too tired to keep on searching, a sliver of light appeared. So I sat there in a daze just watching, afraid to even breathe and to my amazement, the sliver of light grew right before my eyes into a radiant tantalizing glow; so fierce; so magnificent but yet so dangerous in its nature. The sight so extraordinary and rare caused the dwindling flames inside me to reignite; scorching every last cell of my body with hope and happiness yet at the same time an overwhelming amount of fear... for where will this lead me?
