Ever since we launched Code Studio almost 2 years ago, one thing we've frequently heard about is the difficulty of scrolling the workspace when writing a long program, or when working on a small screen.
If your code is long enough that it doesn't fit on one screen (which is especially true if you have a small screen or a tablet), students would often need to drag a block into the workspace, then scroll, then drag, then scroll.
Now, it works much more intuitively. The toolbox scrolls, the workspace scrolls, and the workspace scrolls automatically if you drag a block to the top or the bottom.
We're sorry it took so long to implement this. We've known about this issue, but it required many weeks or re-tooling how Code Studio works. We finally took the chance this summer to improve it, and we can't wait to share the news.
Please let us know if you find any problems with scrolling as a result of this change.
