Took a flight over the New Hampshire Lakes Region today to see how this year’s fall foliage was progressing. In this flight I flew up to Plymouth NH to see if the foliage was beginning to turn yet in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and the surrounding nearby mountains. While out on the flight I did some take off and landings at the small grass strip known as Plymouth Municipal Airport (1P1). During the flight I made a rookie mistake. Nothing of any real consequence, but still a rookie mistake. In this video I fly down to Plum Island, Massachusetts airport (2B2) to check out the northeastern Massachusetts seacoast scenery. While at the Plum Island airport I got to see some RC Model airplanes flying and learn a little more about the airport. Plum Island Airport has two runways, a paved strip (10-28) and a grass strip (14-32), with the paved runway measuring 2,105’ x 50’ and the grass strip measuring 2,300x100.
