shit, this detective was good, or was it just the eye patch making him look like a pirate ... this detective couldn't actually know he's a pirate captain, right ?

he looks down to his open chest, his irezumi poking out, standing out proud ... a symbol of his status as a former yakuza, but tattoos didn't face the same scrutiny in the states, he could easily have his jacket thrown off him completely, revealing the rest of his work, & no one would bat an eyelid at it ... it didn't draw the same fear it did in japan.

❝ y'know more than just pirates wear patches, that's kinda stereotyping a bit there, ain't it ? ❞

maybe that will throw the detective off. he hopes.

no. he fucking didn't.

majima, daigo & saejima had cleaned their hands of that once they had came out here, away from the yakuza that were just trying to make a living, into isolation. he'll admit, it sucked, he missed the busy city life ... there was never a dull moment in his life, there was always things to do, things to have a laugh at, plenty of places to get some of that sweet fast food at ...

out here ? there was nothing. they had to get their own food, & everyday it was fish. sometimes they got a big catch, other days they struggled to feed themselves with the tiny ass fish they had to share together. it sucked, it smelt bad, & majima was getting sick of eating fish day in, & day out. it's not like he wanted to be here, but it's all he & the others could do to give the rest of the ex-yakuza a fair chance at life.

... & now by the sounds of it, from what kiryu says, the yakuza has started up again ... but what were three washed up legends going to do ? come & tell the new head boys to cut it ? majima wanted to laugh, when he was in his high days of being a yakuza, if someone, even a legend came to him & said to cut it out, he'll have likely given them hell.

❝ kiryu-chan ... i know these types ... i know there was some dissatisfaction with some o' the more stuck in their way types, but how 'bout ya just listen to me fer a mo ? ❞

he knew kiryu wasn't likely to listen ... dude didn't listen to many.

it was true, majima had done many crimes, & a good number of them went unpunished due to his position, & general fear that the law enforcement had of him because of his reputation of not being afraid to get his hands dirty, many of his family were the same.

😒 Is there anything canon about your muse that you ignore?

because of pirates ... i want to consider that majima & saejima aren't the same as they were way back in their 20s. the series still considers them really close, but in reality, they both barely know each other now, & pirates shown it. i see them as oath brothers, but in the way that shimano & sagawa are oath brothers, they don't see eye to eye that much, as much as the games want to make you believe. saejima spent most of his life in prison, majima spent very little time in prison so he was able to grow in the yakuza lifestyle. without majima, saejima likely wouldn't have found his way back to the tojo clan, or have the position he got granted, which is something that was shown in pirates that saejima doesn't really seem a bit grateful for.

✍ Favorite thing about writing the muse?

i love the fact he's wacky but also very serious at the same time, like sometimes he can act soft af, other times, he's not to be messed with. i've always considered majima a pseudo villain of sorts, his moral compass is fucked up, but there's even lines he won't cross.

💡 What inspires you to write the muse? 

the games honestly, & plotting threads with people helps a lot too. my health is currently much better, so i feel i can put more time & effort into it than i have been this past while... the rgg rpc is small on tumblr, so i work with what i got, & i'm usually open to crossovers/oc ( besides yume of course ).

📝 Favorite headcanon for your muse? 

probably the one that has stuck in my head the most... i headcanon majima came from quite a wealthy background as a kid, a life free of crime, his father hated yakuza, he was a big ceo of an organisation in tokyo, his mother worked in the same company, during very early teen years, into high school, his parents had a very bad divorce which left him & his mother to fend for themselves, his mother ended up turning to alcohol, which led to majima being neglected, his father wanted nothing to do with him, so one day, despite being an ace student with a possible somewhat bright future ahead of him, he drops out of high school, runs off to kamurocho where he falls in with one of the most notorious biker gangs of the time, his new aggressive & rebellious personality eventually caught the eyes of shimano that took a liking to majima from a young age, & with them meeting up every so often, & majima being eager to please shimano, running some small, definitely illegal errands for him, shimano eventually opened up a spot for majima in his family, i want to say he joined the shimano family when he was around 17 years old.

😩 Hardest thing about writing the muse? 

probably his dialect, not overdoing it with the kansai-ben as majima does slip up every so often, he is originally kanto based, so he grew up speaking standard japanese, almost sounding a bit posh due to his wealthy background. he started to speak with a kansai dialect because of a couple of things, when he first met shimano, hearing the dialect did something to him, he really wanted to sound less standard/posh so he could better fit in with the gang, & also feel closer to shimano who was like a father figure to him considering his actual father left him, & then later on he wanted to feel a more brotherly bond with saejima. after ? he's just kept it up because he likes it, but since it's something he forced on instead of living in the osaka area for a while ( well he did, but he never really allowed it to happen naturally ), he will slip up on it sometimes, usually when things get serious.

i would love to do a RP that is based in the timeskip in RGG3, when majima is back into the tojo clan, & is assisting daigo in running the clan. there's a RGG online story of this where it's kind of a rocky start as majima won't settle down for daigo without a fight, daigo kind of has to prove his worth to majima first, & it'll be neat to rp something based off of that.

i will be writing again soon considering drawing is gonna be a lil slow atm for me. i was at an anime tattoo con that happened in my country, it was fun, i ended up coming out of it with not one, but two hand tattoos. lol
