okay so i'm going to keep this short and sweet for now before i bounce off to work but will maybe expand and put up a proper bio later!

she was born and raised in queens! to a very chaotic family. essentially her parents are like frank and monica from shameless, barely around, way too addicted to their unhealthy vices to pay their kids any mind. mj and the rest of her siblings were raised by their elder ones.

was always a really curious kid who was a magnet for trouble from the get go. she'd always stick her nose into business and places where it didn't belong. but yeah, definitely didn't make it any easier for her older siblings.

despite the fact that she's very intelligent, she's easily distracted and was never a good student. she barely graduated high school before picking up with nothing more than a backpack and a camera and traveling overseas. it was here where she really developed her eyes and skills as a photographer.

met a world reknown photojournalist who took mj under her wing, wanting to inspire more women to get into the field. (yes it's taken inspiration from the movie civil war shhhhhhh!) for years, she followed and learned from one of the best and grew into her own talent.

mj specifically excels with her intimate portrait work, having the innate ability to make people feel right at home and safe with her, allowing them to be perfectly vulnerable.

came home a few years ago after a bad car accident, miraculously living. it definitely freaked her out though so she's been local back in NYC ever since, shooting for the washington post.

now, she'll travel around the country but has been too afraid to go too much further. so she's been focusing on reconciling with her loved ones.

PERSONALITY:

she's feisty and adventurous as fuck, rarely says no, always down to try anything once. definitely charismatic in a way that naturally draws people to her, sarcastic and witty. not afraid to fight at all. a loyal and devoted friend. probably not the best girlfriend though she definitely tries.
