That Floral is Local
Let’s support locally-made clothing ❤

The floral pants that I’m wearing were created by a local seamstress here in the Philippines. 🇵🇭

Aside from its vibrant print, the cloth is very comfy too!

What a crazy year 2019 has become...
What a crazy year 2019 has become…

The 22-year-old me last year envisioned this time solely dedicated to pursuing my passion and practicing persistence. Only to end up now with half-blank pages of my journal and almost 70% of unachieved goals.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Surprisingly, I became happier even though things didn’t go as planned. I felt that it was a year of freedom from the walls I’m unconsciously building that I initially thought…

Just a gentle reminder
Just a gentle reminder, ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ THINGS WILL ALWAYS WORK OUT FOR YOU ✨ ⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You just have to: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (1) Make peace within you, because it all starts from the inside; ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (2) Know that things might not always end up the way you wanted, but sure you will get what’s meant for you; and ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (3) To believe is to see. Believe in Him, even though you haven’t seen it yet–btw,…

Resto-Rax:
I think it’s high time to talk about this brand as I learned that they’ll transfer to a new location in order to serve more foodies out there, especially people from the South.

Resto Rax was established by the newly-wed, Mr. Raymart and Mrs. Eldy Jane Magpantay. It has a music-band theme, evident on the design of the whole place and interestingly, on their foood menu. Photo below is what I…

Tagaytay Chronicles | Charito by Bag of Beans
Tagaytay Chronicles | Charito by Bag of Beans
Honestly, whenever I need to look for a restaurant to catch up with friends, I first consider the place’s vibes and the interior design, before I even take heed of their menu. It must be a place where we can comfortably talk nonstop and at the same time, instagrammable.

Then voila, found this! I and my college best friend went to Charito, one of the branches of Bag of Beans line. Its overall…

Belt Bag is Back!
I'm quite surprise also that I survived the day with only this bag, without the items I thought were must-haves.
Belt bags or waist bags might have been back on track in quite some time now, but I can’t still conceal that I’m happy it did.
I’m actually the type who almost brings her whole house when traveling or who always looks like I have a 3-day camp with my everyday stuff. I’m far from becoming a light traveler. Yet, it’s always good to challenge yourself while staying in style.
(can’t access my…

Bohol-Panglao International Airport: Ambiance to match your pastel feed
Bohol-Panglao International Airport: Ambiance to match your pastel feed
Dubbed as the “Green Gateway to the World”, this New Bohol International Airport caught me in awe because of its soft color and nature-inspired interior. The colors of the chairs are blue green and yellow green that is fresh to the eyes, subtle representation of the sky and the forest.

Look at this mural wall:

Here’s to something we might be happy about the Philippines today. ❤ Click to see…

Note to Self
You are like the sunset’s glow—golden. Remember that.
They say that when you are loved well, you grow. How better would that be if it comes from within? All the more reason to generously give love to yourself.

You’ll not just grow, you’ll also glow.

Give yourself the love and care that you deserve.

Japan Snaps: Osaka Castle
Japan Snaps: Osaka Castle
Time is more than gold. That’s what I felt when we traveled to Japan. You have to make every minute count because there were so much stuff to do and places to visit, yet so little time.

In order not to waste time while waiting for an event that we have to attend, we managed to drop by to the Osakajokoen Station to visit, for a short time, the iconic — Osaka Castle.

Even from afar, it looks…

Coco Mama: A must-try in Boracay!

If you happen to stroll around the D’Mall in Boracay, sure that you wouldn’t miss this busy stall that offers replenishment on a fresh Coconut shell.

Local and foreigners patiently wait for their turns to have a taste of the freshly-opened Buko topped with Coco-flavored ice cream, Pinipig, and beans. You can also opt to add some sliced mango for a sweet-and-sour taste.

Have you been to the Eiffel Tower in the Philippines?
Have you been to the Eiffel Tower in the Philippines?
I fell in love with this Eiffel!

When we talk about Paris, France, the ever beautiful Eiffel Tower is automatically being associated. Aside from being one of the country’s landmarks, it has been a romantic symbol that complements with the image of Paris as the City of Love.

This famous tower is part of the bucket list of a lot of people with different nationalities, including the Filipinos.…

Soft yet Strong: Can you be both?
Soft yet Strong: Can you be both?
“Being both soft and strong is a combination very few have mastered.” – Yasmin Mogahed
Are you one of the few?

Many genuine spirits have turned down into something less desirable just to fit in with the society. Nowadays, kindness is being perceived as weakness especially to those who don’t know how to play.
The concept of toughness that most of us are accustomed to is more about the conspicuous…

Finally, I’ve ticked off one of my childhood bucket list!

Philippine landmarks are well known even before the Digital Era. Through books during grade school, tourist spots— like Mayon Volcano, Chocolate Hills, Hundred Islands, and Banaue Rice Terraces—were desired destinations of every kid, including me.

I almost forgot about this childhood dream trip I had, until we took a short morning stopover in Banaue en route to the Mountain Province.
Meet my pretty friends, Shara & Eunice. ❤ Our tour was organized by S&B Adventure.
Tatay in his indigenous attire welcomed us and other tourists with a genuine smile from ear to ear. If you’ll meet him when you visit, please be generous to give him proper bucks and credit.

The viewing deck is a good spot to take selfies or to simply appreciate the whole scenery.

If you want to set foot on the paved tip of the fields, you just have to pay for the PHP 20 entrance fee and then Voila, Instagrammable photos! Apparently, we already found our contentment on the viewing deck. Hahahaha!

Who wouldn’t have a bright and pleasant morning while eating in front of this view?

We ordered Black Rice and Corned Beef for our breakfast. As far as I can remember, it costs PHP 135 per meal. A bit pricey, but just think that by consuming these products, we help the locals whose source of income depend merely on local tourism.

Though I had fun in the Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras, honestly, I’m not quite impressed with what I’ve witnessed—its current state. Maybe it’s overrated by the books we had in grade school? or perhaps I just set a very high expectation? or possibly, it’s due to negligence?

This is not to underestimate this National Treasure that our country boasts about, ever since. This is simply to address its present need for maintenance and sustainment. I know it still has a lot of potentials that the local government unit must take heed.

After all, if we preserve this cultural heritage just like it was once before, everyone will benefit, especially the future generation.
Thanks for reading! ❤
