We are in desperate need of help. We are a family of ten trying to survive in northern Gaza. Our landlord keeps increasing our rent, and we will be at the mercy of the drones and the tanks if we have to leave, on top of having to leave behind all of our belongings. Every kind of food at the market now costs a fortune and there are no jobs available due to the dangerous situation outside, so we have to fully rely on this campaign.

Starvation is making people around us more and more desperate and I’m scared. Robbers have attacked the families living next to our building. If we get kicked out, we will know the same fate. We can only count on ourselves and the kind souls who have money to spare for us. I swear I just want a miracle to put an end to this crazy situation, I want my life back…

Safaa Still Needs Your Help!

We are now entering a critical stage of the current "conflict" in G@za. Despite the ceasefire, many people are still struggling to obtain access to food, shelter, medicine, and water. The ceasefire itself is very limited, and the violence is set to begin again when it is over. The hope is that people (who have managed to raise enough money) will be able to cross from the strip into Egypt via its border in order to escape more hardship. My friend Safaa is one such person who hopes to do this. Her fundraiser is 3/4ths of the way towards its goal! She has currently managed to raise $15,736 out of her goal of $20,000, but she still needs our help to close the gap between her current amount of money and her goal as soon as possible, hopefully before the ceasefire ends. Can you share this post and send a bit of money, to help a mother and her child?
