What a shame that Shinnok, Takeda nor Kung Jin weren't in the mk11 game. Think you can make intro dialogues for them vs the other fighters?

I can surely try! I love myself some Kung Jin and Takeda, but I realistically don’t see myself doing anything good for shinnok lol. Maybe in another post!

Dating Kabal:

Kabal has two speeds when it comes to relationships. Either it’s a breezy, no strings attached affair so when it stops being fun he can split without consequence or he wants them to move in immediately. He’s quick to trust his gut on things like this, insisting that he’s a man of action so he doesn’t want to waste time. He understands if it’s moving too fast for them, pun fully intended, but he desperately hopes they give it a chance.

So...

I’ve been noticing a couple of instances in the MK character editing community in which people make edits of white/pale-skinned MK characters using characters that are dark-skinned/POC...in example are these edits for absent characters Taven, Ashrah, and Li Mei.

Umm yeah, so I think it would be in best advice for all editors out there to not whitewash these characters for an edit. I know some of you may argue that “it’s just an edit” and it’s not deliberate, but the intent of it doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s still whitewashing. Or I’ve seen some people argue these characters aren’t particularly white, namely Li Mei because she’s in fact Asian. Okay, so why take a darker skinned character with afrocentric features like Jacqui and greatly alter her features instead of using someone in close proximity in appearance to Li Mei like...Kitana???

I’ve just seen this occur few too many times whilst people defend it for the sake of it being a harmless character edit. It becomes moot to me considering I watched some people amongst this fanbase makes blatantly offensive comments about all three of these particular characters for having more visibly ethnic features. Like there’s plenty of white/pale skinned characters in MK11 that can be used for these edits, so grabbing the few darker skinned/non-white characters to make them is not only odd but just further contributes to their erasure.

*PS, I understand that Taven and Ashrah might be racially ambiguous to some people, but they noticeably look more white in these edits I saw.
