Earth has a finite supply of land, air, and water, for which humans, animals, and plants must compete. Of all Earth species, only humans have or can acquire and utilize the knowledge to create new habitats on other worlds or in space from the raw materials of moons and asteroids.
Space provides the human species with a new “frontier” for exploration and adventure, thought and expression, culture and art, and modes of government. The opening of “the New World” to western civilization brought about an unprecedented 500-year period of growth and experimentation in science, technology, literature, music, art, recreation, and government, including the development and gradual acceptance of democracy. The presence of a frontier led to the development of the “open society” founded on the principles of individual rights and freedoms. Many of these rights and freedoms are being placed under increasingly stringent limitations and due to continuous human negligence, not enough resources are available to sustain further human life.
Situation: Various space travel agencies are offering services for travel to Mars where the government has started to establish new colonies. You are the CMO of ISTA, who is a space travel agency. You need to market your company and convince everyone to choose you in these difficult times.

Suddenly half of the Dholakhpur has died and the existing villagers are facing some serious health hazards. Hospital beds are full and an emergency situation has been declared. On investigation it was found that, these cases were due to the use of SIMAC Fertilizers. The company was using some hazardous chemicals which not only polluted the village water but also destroyed the crops.

Background Task: Auction Tribe

Companies Auction: In this round the participants will be taking part in the auction conducted by the organizing committee of the top companies of the different sectors { for example:- FMCG Coca cola} and the top marketing techniques { for example;- guerilla marketing} So they will be given a hypothetical budget of 5,00,000 out of which they have to win the bid for1 company and 1 marketing technique.
After winning and choosing the company as well the technique, the team will be called for the presentation of the combination of both companies as well the technique.
Task in Hand:
The participants will be coming with idea of marketing strategies they won by bidding in the auction and will be presenting the company and the technique collaborating. Which will be insight about the company allotted them with a new marketing strategy to present.

In Ruralizing, participants are Rural marketing which is the process of pricing, promoting, products or services in rural areas with the dual goal of satisfying the needs of rural customers while also achieving organizational goals. The majority of the population in India lives in rural or remote areas, which presents a great opportunity for marketing activities in these rural areas.

Similarly, another rural marketing initiative “Har Gaon Hamara” was also started by HDFC Bank with the purpose of creating awareness of different financial products, digital services, and social welfare schemes among rural people. Further to strengthen this campaign and rural market outreach, HDFC Bank introduced ‘Har Gaon Hamara’ IVR (Interactive Voice Response) toll-free number to facilitate farmers for accessing or availing financial services

Ambush marketing – also known as coat-tail marketing or predatory ambushing – is the
practice of hijacking or cooping another advertiser’s campaign to raise awareness of another company or brand, often in the context of event sponsorships.
Rona catches Apple’s paint- In Canada, Montreal, Apple had a billboard promoting the iPod nano, where the colour of the iPod would drip down at the bottom. Home improvement chain
Rona saw a great opportunity and pulled off perhaps one of the greatest ambush campaign stunts. They placed a banner below Apple’s billboard so that it looked like the paint was falling into buckets. The text on their banner translated into: “We recycle leftover paint.”
Participants will be divided into groups of 2 and will be provided with a sector and 2 companies. Both companies will be prominent rivals and the teams will be presenting marketing strategies to promote their product in a new market. After the presentations both the teams will debate over why the opponent’s marketing strategy is inferior to theirs.
