POST 12- Promotion
Monster Energy's social media platforms are exactly how they are perceived—bold, direct, and color coordinated. On Monster Energy's website, it immediately flashes their eye-catching promotions as well as their product lines and flavors that go with them. They have the signature blank and bright green color scheme to match the original Monster Energy drink. They also have their upcoming promotions, a help center, and local and online stores that offer their product. They always offer promotions on their product. For example, they have many deals that consist of buying two, getting one free, etc. They also have a deal on their bulk pack on Amazon, making it cheaper for the customer to buy a 15-pack for $24.99 rather than individually priced. Their sales promotion is very easy to find as they are always going to be right in front of the aisle of drinks to let all the customers know of their deals and offers. Monster Energy is very inclusive in offering limited-time deals and special offers for its product.

POST 11- Place (Distribution)
Monster Energy's brand distribution strategy is intensive distribution.  Monster energy is available in most retail options, such as convenience stores, supermarkets, vending machines, and online distributors like Amazon, to get it in bulk. Monster Energy does not have its own store to sell its product, but it uses other retail outlets to distribute its product. This global distribution makes it easy and convenient for everyone to enjoy Monster Energy without the hassle of making it hard for the consumer to buy Monster Energy's product.

POST 10- Trends
Current trends in the marketplace that may pose a threat to Monster Energy are the trend of staying healthy and choosing healthier drink options in the current market. Monster Energy is based on energy drinks and its caffeine to help people stay fueled with energy all day. However, because energy drinks like Monster that have high caffeine and sugar intake can be very harmful to a person if they consume too much, it has been posing a threat to Monster Energy. Many people are trying to find drinks that do not have as much sugar or high levels of caffeine in their ingredients. Monster has responded by producing a new market line with zero sugar, but their caffeine levels and other substitutes are still high. I believe Monster will continue to try and resolve this current issue by producing a smaller can or possibly making a new, healthier product line.

POST 9-Services
Monster specializes in event-based services by sponsoring many events like extreme sports, festivals like Coachella, music concerts, and other tournaments. Not only does this increase their brand equity, but it also promotes their brand to new customers and retains existing ones. In these events, Monster also provides merchandising services by providing clothing accessories and many different types of gear for their promoters. Monster Energy also takes part in customer services like feedback channels on their social media, so their customers become part of the brand and give their ideas to support the brand or report any difficulties they have experienced.

POST 8- Brand Detail
Monster Energy pays close attention to their designs and patterns of its products. They make sure to always have a bright color that matches the flavor of the product. They also include their logo, the bold M, in all of their products. This creates brand identity and equity because of how recognizable their products are in society. They also consist of brand loyalty because of their variety of flavors and product lines, which keeps loyal customers coming back while also gaining more. Monster Energy's product mix includes energy drinks, zero-sugar juice, and coffee. Some of their various product lines are Monster Ultra, which is zero sugar, Monster Rehab, which is a tea-based energy drink, Java Monster, which is centered around coffee flavors, etc. There are currently six product lines that Monster Energy has.

POST 7- Packaging
What makes Monster Energy packaging so special is the brightly colored cans and boxes the product comes in. The bold and bright color of the packaging makes the products stand out, making them eye-catching for consumers. The logo M of monster can be easily sought out due to the variety of colors and different textures the can has based on the flavors. I don't believe monsters need any additional changes that need to be made. Most people have used Monster Energy cans as collectibles or display because of their distinguished packaging. This technique is used to target the appeal of the drink.

POST 6-Competition
Monster Energy's key competitor is Red Bull. Red Bull targets almost the same demographics as Monster, such as focusing on event sponsorships, extreme sports, and a similar target age as Monster. According to Statista, Red Bull is the number one energy drink when it comes to popularity. Red Bull has “generated sales of about 7.76 billion U.S. dollars” (2), making it the number one selling energy drink. As Red Bull is the most popular energy drink, where does that leave Monster Energy? Monster Energy is the second-best-selling energy drink. According to Cascade Strategy, Red Bull has made “43% of the global energy drink market in Dec 2022. Second comes Monster with a 35% market share” (2). With Red Bull at number one and Monster Energy at number two, the main competitor for Monster Energy is Red Bull.

POST 5- Target Market
The target markets for Monster Energy focus on young, active individuals around the ages of 18 to 34, according to Nina Sheridan. They try to reach the millennials and generation Z, currently a,s monster is becoming a rising trend in social media. The brand itself is trying to gain focus on this demographic due to the equal exchange of similar interests in music, gaming, and sports. Monster Energy's marketing strategies have been focused on North America, as that is where they generate the most amount of revenue, according to Statista. “Monster Beverage Corporation generates the most revenue in North America, with net sales of about 6.3 billion U.S. dollars” (1). As North America generates the most amount of revenue for the company, they try to push out as many new flavors and products that focus on the preferences of people in North America. Monster Energy is known for its active lifestyle, so it overall pushes to market its products to people who seek adventure and activity. This is one of the sole reasons why they sponsor major events like Coachella, X Games, and many more events that focus on high-energy activities.

POST 4- SWOT
S: Monster Energy has multiple strengths. The key focus for Monster is having a strong bond with sponsorships, a wide geographic area that sells the products, and having a large product line. Having strong sponsorships with brands increases the familiarity with the product to larger crowds. A wide geographic area is a major strength as the product will always be available in convenient places to smooth the exchange for the consumers. Another strength monster has is having a large product line. Monster's product line consists of energy drinks, coffee, zero-sugar products, juice, etc. Having such a large product line that aligns with the current trends of following what people like is a key strength that Monster has.
W: Some weaknesses Monster Energy has are its dependence on a specific product it offers and its lack of use of advertising. Having no use of advertising can be detrimental to the company, when new products come out, it's not advertised by their own company but through a third party posting it on social media. According to WordStream, “not using advertising as a marketing strategy can be bad because it may limit the ability to reach a wider audience, create brand awareness, and drive sales (1).” Unfortunately, Monster's main source of revenue is the energy drinks, because of this, they choose to bring most of the focus to that specific product, causing a lack of effort to be put into the other products. If Monster had focused on all of the products as they do with just the energy drinks, it is assumed that it would have increased sales.
O: Monster's opportunity is always growing. As various trends are rising with the concern of people's health, many people are avoiding drinks with high sugar and caffeine ingredients. However if monster produces a health product line with less sugar and caffeine it would create opportunity. This product line will follow the trend and gain more attention from new and returning customers.
T: Monster Energy's main threat is their competitor Red Bull. So far both energy drink companies are doing very well financially, however, Red Bull has the advantage of targeting older adults compared to Monster's target range of teens and young adults. With this tough competitor Monster Energy's main threat is their competitor.

POST 3: "Monster Energy":
The key differentiator for Monster is the versatile styles of their product. The energy drinks come in bright colored styles to fit the design of the flavor. For example, the drink “Mango Loco” has the most noticeable design as it is a bright blue can with a skeleton pattern around the can. Monster's famous bright colored cans are very significant to Monster's growth as it starts to create a sense of familiarity of the brand itself. With Monsters noticeable cans it makes the brand itself stand out to customers while also establishing credibility and enhancing customer loyalty to the brand. Most people would rather pick out bright and noticeable drink than a dole and boring one. Not only do the color of the cans but the Monsters popular M logo is very recognizable. Most people know Monster Energy for their logo as it is a giant M that takes up half of the can. This logo is associated with the brand itself making it stand out to consumers. When people see the logo, they know what brand it is associated with even if it does not clearly state Monster Energy.

POST 2: "Monster Energy":
Monster Energy is a product that offers a good that satisfies its customers. They offer a product mix of a variety of drinks that range from energy juice to coffee. Monster was founded by Hansen Natural Company now known as Monster. This brand is fairly new as it has only been around since April 2002 (Spiceworks 1). They originally were only selling juice however the wave of energy drinks found its way into the company. Consumers started to pick up the trend and soon “energy” became the face of Monster. Monster's mission statement is “Sometimes you just need that boost, that push, that focus… that punch of energy to get you going. You need Monster.” and their slogan is “Monster Energy — Unleash the Beast!” (Monster Energy 1). Monster mainly focuses on becoming a community rather than a plain brand. Compared to focusing their marketing skills on billboard ads and television advertisements they prioritize sponsoring well-known extreme athletes, musicians, artists, and events. They have Monster locations all over the world, from America to Europe. Their main headquarters are located in Corona, California with about 7,000 employees worldwide. As they have many company locations, consumers can also buy from supermarkets, convenience stores, vending machines, and overall anywhere that may sell drinks. Monster Energy is always available on the go.

POST 1: "Monster Energy":
Monster Energy is a fast and efficient way to consume energy for day-to-day activities. I chose this brand as I am a full-time student and I have a full-time job, therefore, I am always in need of an extra energy boost. Monster Energy is an energy drink that tastes delicious and gives me the significant energy spur I need throughout the day. Monster Energy is important because of the value it has created for its customers. They perceive Monster as a lifestyle while providing their customers a sense of community. Monster uses place as they have placed their logos on multiple athletes, popular performers, or known places such as stadiums to keep their companies diverse in who they sponsor rather than billboards or television commercials. Monster also focuses on relational orientation as Monster continues producing multiple flavors with eye-catching designs to keep the customer engaged. Monster Energy uses verities of marketing tactics to keep their customers engaged while providing a good that provides energy to their customers.
