The brand that I chose was Hyundai.
2. Interface: I think the interface of the Hyundai website is evident because the first image of the landing page is an SUV. The site has made it obvious what’s clickable. The first clickable link on the top bar of the site is ‘Vehicles.’ As I scroll down the webpage had more images of cars come up. The user can interact actively by clicking one of the photos of the cars which are categorized by its types. The website also has a link called ‘Why Hyundai?’. This link takes the user to a site that explains the credibility of Hyundai by using Trust Symbols and descriptions. Under the section of finding the dealer, it has each link to an external site of each dealer shop’s website. Design: The overall design of the website is firmly targeted at people who want to buy a Hyundai vehicle, and the website naturally gives interest to the users and stimulate them to buy the vehicle or at least look more into the details of the products thus leading to the purchase. Therefore, the overall design of the website can be said to be Conversion-Centered Design. It has done an excellent job by leading people from awareness, interest, desire to act. Also, from the context of the website, I can tell that most of the people who visit the website are interested in the types of the vehicle and the Build & Price of the vehicles. I am a current and future customer of Hyundai because I drive Elantra and many in few years, I am very interested in purchasing Santa Fe. So, when I first visited the website, I was interested in the types of the vehicles, price and what options can I add to the car. Simplicity: The website is overall simple, it has information mostly about the vehicle. The website has a lot of white spaces which eliminates distractions and gives the user a more relaxed environment when navigating the website. Content: The content of the website is also good because from the website instantaneously I can realize that the company is selling vehicles and information about those vehicles. One particular content that I want to bring up is the video that is on the top part of the landing page. From this video, I can tell that Hyundai’s primary focus is building a family-oriented SUV vehicle. I think this will give a good image to Hyundai being family friendly and increase the sales of SUV vehicles. Responsiveness: The design of the website on a mobile device was different from that of the computer browser. The interface of the mobile size website was intuitive and easy to use. The mobile size website also aligned with the computer browser website by providing information mainly on the types of vehicles and Build & Price. Colors: I think the website has well used the colors to match with the logo of the company. The Hyundai logo is typically in blue, so most of the texts are in blue. Also, the Hyundai logo uses grey, and white color, so the website uses those colors as well. This consistency gives the user familiarity when searching inside the website. Platform: On the website, multiple features lead the users to their need. Some of the most visible and essential features are descriptions of vehicles, the price of the vehicles and where to buy the cars. Aligned with the design, simplicity, and color that the platform presenting the vehicles are very clear and neat.
3. www.seositecheckup.com Hyundai USA website has passes 38 checks, seven failed checks, and one warning. The SEO score was 86 out of 100. Pros Hyundai website uses keywords in the meta-tags, which help search engines to identify the topic of the page accurately. Hyundai website uses a cache system which speeds up the loading time. Does not use nested tables Does not use frame Has Doctype Declaration No redirects on the website. URL has been canonized so http://www.hyundaiusa.com, and www.hyundaiusa.com leads to the same website. The website uses HTTP and has secure communication protocol over the internet. Disabled directory browsing E-mail addresses are not plaintext. The website uses a media query technique, which is responsive design functionalities. Cons Website Loading Time: 5.77 seconds > Average Loading Speed: 5 seconds. JavaScript and CSS have not been minified. Server signature is on. HTML Microdata specification is not used in the website. The website uses the nofollow meta tag. What to fix and what to prioritize and why? I would first fix problems related to slowing down of the website, for example, JavaScript and CSS minification, HTML microdata specification, and nofollow meta tag.
4. Customer Name: Josh Face: Age 33 Demographics: Asian Interest: Family Activities Media Choices: Internet, TV ads Pain Points: Sole provider for the family Advertisement: Focus on the need for space in the vehicle for children.

Hyundai is the Trend
Tumblr media
Hyundai conglomerate was founded in 1947 and moved to the U.S. market by establishing Hyundai Motor America in 1986. So, Hyundai has been around for more than three decades in the U.S. However, for most of its years, it was not well known and often devalued. Nonetheless, more recent news reveals that Hyundai has now joined the mainstream of the automobile industry and ranked alongside other automobile companies. I personally like Hyundai because of its reasonable pricing for its value, excellent service, and a lifetime warranty.

Recently, Hyundai launched a new segment of vehicle, mid-size electronic SUV called Kona. This is the first electric car from Hyundai, and the electric vehicle is the future. Hyundai Kona has the range of 258 miles which is 20 miles longer than Chevrolet Bolt EV. The important type of vehicle Hyundai really needs to come up with is a pick-up truck. Hyundai is looking to launch a pick-up truck in 2020. The pick-up truck is called Stan Cruz. Although Hyundai started this project back in 2016, it had some delays, but now many experts say 2020 is the most likely year. I believe Hyundai will be able to expand more into the U.S. market with the launch of a pick-up truck.
