quite frankly I got to watch a team take the defending cup champions to seven games in the second round when their starting goalie got concussed, their captain has been injured all season, and apparently the panthers never commit any penalties ever, so like—I’m not mad at that. yeah they could’ve played better, absolutely. but that’s hockey, baby. shit happens.

the only thing that’s actually pissed me off has been the entitled fanbase throwing shit at players because no, you don’t get to do that. they’re doing a job. yes they get paid well for it, but they’re still doing a job. you don’t get to throw things at them because you’re an overgrown toddler who never learnt how to express emotions correctly. it’s disgusting, and the fact the players can’t come out and say so because they’ll just get more hate is a damning indictment of toronto area fans specifically. grow the fuck up.
