sure raph may be a little sillay sometimes and Does First Asks Later but donnie has repeatedly eaten harmful substances, started rapping in a library knowing that getting caught would put him in Baby Jail, and got screamed at by raph to stop destroying manhattan and his reaction was just wow these graphics are amazing . raph had genuine reason to believe that donnie (along with leo and mikey) did not know what a week was. donnie is very tech-savvy but he lacks reason and has to be repeatedly reigned in or prevented by raph from doing stupid or maniacal shit . anyways now onto my essay about why this makes brains and brawn the funniest fucking dynamic in the show

Based on my headcanon on how the turtles would react to stress because IM A FUCKING SUCKER FOR THIS KINDA COMFORT COMICS OKAY!!! SUE ME!!!

To recap the stress response headcanon briefly:

Donnie stress stims (scratching his arm, they give him fidget toys so he doesnt hurt himself)

Mikey hides in his shell, away from harm. You know, turtle istincts and all haha

Leo gets nausea and gags a lot (any strong emotion does that really)

Raph has a delayed panic/anxiety spike later on, because he wants to always make sure his brothers are safe first. THEN he'll crumble

HANSEL AU INFODUMP .2 INCOMING!! *more explosions, crowd screaming*

For anyone who doesn’t know: Galileo = Future Leo

This is an AU where he’s been sent to the past where him and his brothers are babies.

Galileo isn’t really a fan of pizza anymore. His stomach can’t handle the taste. He’s more of a soup guy now. His favorite is Chicken noodle.

When he’s not looking for the key Gali is out looking for Casey. He doesn’t know where the kid ended up but he hopes that one day the two of them will come across one another. He misses the kid deeply.

When the tots got their own color-coded masks Gal got one too. It’s teal. He doesn’t wear it often but when he does it’s usually around his neck like a bandana.

Galileo retired his old blue mask to be tied with his brother’s mask on the end of his swords (all except Mikey’s, he wishes everyday he asked for his mask).

Galileo is really led back but when it comes down to his search for the key it’s almost like a switch has been flipped. He’s lethal in his methods and is not above drawing blood to get what he wants, which is the key.

He gets a new prosthetic arm from the Hidden City eventually.

While he’s protective over all the tots his protectiveness of Mikey is increased tenfold. Not on the count that he’s smaller and “weaker” — but because he feels like he’s failed the Mikey from his timeline and the guilt of it weighs heavily on his conscious.

He works as Little Blue’s biggest fan and also his biggest critic. Bringing him up when he needs it but being the voice of disagreement when Leo needs it.
