Artificial Intelligence - The Future of Learning
Over the past few decades, the methods of teaching and the student-teacher relationship has evolved significantly. The new-age learning methods are student-centric and are focused to make learning easy and produced more streamlined results for children. The advancement of technology can be credited for this transformation. We are witnessing a shift in the teaching-learning process, where teachers have become more approachable and considerate of the student’s perspective.
Artificial intelligence has been utilized all over the globe work and life in general and it is proving it’s potential in the field of education as well. When the younger generation is spending so much time on smartphones and tablets, AI-based learning applications are providing them the opportunity to utilize their time for learning. These systems adapt to the student’s level of understandings, his learning speed, and his interest to enhance personalized learning. Starting with kindergarten to grad schools, the AI can develop customized learning solutions for everyone. Besides assisting them in crafting courses, they provide real-time feedback to both the students and the teachers, Machine learning can analyze a student’s strengths and weaknesses, benefiting the teachers and the students.

Educators are usually burdened with work, considering the amount of time they get. Grading test papers or homework is a tedious job, taking much of their time. Objective or multiple-choice questions can easily be programmed into the computers that analyze the tests and grades them automatically, saving time and efforts of the teacher. In the coming years, these artificial brains will be able to advance from multiple-choice questions to analyzing the quality of writing through essays. Further, this time can be utilized by educators to more crucial aspects of their job like educational materials, feedback, and support for their students.
Even though teachers are well- intentional about their educational materials, but they are humans and errors can always occur. With AI, the chances of errors are significantly reduced if programmed correctly. Besides, every time a student gives a wrong answer, it gives the alerts to the teachers and hints to students. It fills up any gaps in the explanation that may appear in the courses.
The AI systems usually work behind the scenes and we are unaware of their presence and the assistance they provide us in looking for information. For instance, Google shows results based on your location or Amazon recommends your products based on your shopping interests. These systems work together to make information gathering a hassle-free experience to us. The same is being used in the education sector. With the ocean of information available to the students, they might find themselves puzzled to find the right information. Machine learning and data analysis can pave the way for students so that they can easily reach the required data.
Artificial Intelligence has expanded its reach to various industries, but it is still in its infancy in the field of education. The future might dramatically change the way we see it now. AI systems and support will enable students to learn from any part of the world, eliminating the need to go to the classroom. This could reduce the cost of education, making it more accessible for children. This might prove to be a boon for developing countries where education is a serious concern.
Chalkboards and photostats are becoming a thing of the past. Interactive whiteboards, IT suits, and tablet-based learning are emerging as the flagbearers of the future of education. Though some educators do fear that the job of teachers are at risk of being replaced by robots. However, artificial intelligence programs ca teach maths or literature, but social and emotional skills will remain a trait of humans. In the future that lies ahead of us, technology is going to be an inevitable part of our lives and we will continue to grow and develop with it.

Are IT giants becoming our new religion?
Have you ever wondered why you choose a particular person as your friend? According to psychologists, the science of friendship is complicated and it may depend on several factors including social ones like similarity of thoughts, compatibility, approachability, and also environmental factors like geography, proximity, activities, and life events. In simple terms, our thought process plays a major role in the people we choose. Even when we look back to prehistoric times, we see how early man progressed from wandering alone to living in groups. We can say that it was the beginning of what we call today as communities.
As human beings, we need a sense of belonging, and that connects us to most of the relationships we develop, be it with humans or inanimate objects. We connect the individuals of a community with an attribute that is core to the group. We are all members of the community which is based on various domains, be is smaller communities like family and work or bigger ones like religions. Most people become a part of the community because it is comforting to be part of a group of individuals who share something more than just a geographical location- they share their views and ideas on a particular topic. It gives them a sense of comfort to be around people who believe in the same concepts as their own.
From the past few decades, as the intervention of technology in our lives has increased, we are seeing it as an emerging factor in the division of communities. Yes, you heard it right. Let’s take a common example. You go to a store to buy a laptop. The salesman presents you with a variety of them, but you already have an idea about what you are supposed to go for. You choose Windows over a MacBook. Why? Because you have been using Windows for a lot of years and you have developed your opinions and trust in that brand. You know it will be worth your money and you buy it without a second thought.

The choice of one brand over another is a common phenomenon in every industry, but its influence in the IT sector is extraordinary. Today, it has become a major factor in deciding which brand will rule the industry. We see one of the most common cases of brand dominance over opinions in that of the two smartphone operating systems - Android and iOs. It appears strange, but Android vs. iOs has become a prolonged matter of argument for the masses. You may find articles and even videos on the same where individuals are expressing their preference for a particular OS and their disinclination for the other. We may have come across incidents where people buy Apple smartphones repeatedly, although it might not fit into their budget, because they are now a part of the community and they are reluctant to get out of that. As a result of the split in consumers, Android and iOs have merged as the leading brands in the market, increasing their sales and market shares exponentially.
Such conflicts are associated with all the global giants in the IT industry - be it Apple, Microsoft, Sony, HP, or Samsung. They are no longer just IT companies; they have emerged as much more than that in the past few years. They have succeeded in leaving their footprints on the minds of people. It would not be an exaggeration to say that they have become the new religion of people. These ventures have a colossal amount of followers who would any day choose that brand over another. They have affected the consumer’s behavior, just like the religions we follow instills our psyche with a set of beliefs. Researchers have even been developing theories explaining the psychology of the choice of a particular brand. For instance, Apple users are said to be more extroverted, and Android users are supposed to have greater levels of humility and honesty.
As the IT industry is moving towards expansion, we are also witnessing the influence of brands over people’s minds. With the present scenario in the picture, we may expect to see these technology giants emerging as the new religion for the people. The changes will undoubtedly be revolutionary and technology will give birth to an entirely new world, but what we need to see is whether it would be for the good or we will be heading towards the worst face of technology.

Social Media Trends- The new-age way to stay updated
Let's go back to in time a few years to 2014 when the ALS Ice bucket challenge began as an initiative to raise funds and awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Since then it has caught the attention of millions of people including celebrities like Bill Gates, Lady Gaga, Sheryl Sandberg, Benedict Cumberbatch, and many more. Never looking behind, the ALS association has till now raised about $115 million for research about this disease. This is just one example. Exploring the history of social media, you can come across many such occurrences and events that reflect the power of social media trends.
The launch of Facebook in 2004 and Instagram in 2011 changed the way we perceived social media. Starting its journey as a source of entertainment and slowly emerging as a platform for social initiatives, it has revolutionized the lifestyles and behavior of individuals across the globe. The rise of social media has connected the global population in a way, which was unimaginable a decade ago. From politics to movies, from education to environment, from the commoner to the elite, social media has sneaked its way in every nook and corner of the world.
So emphatically has this lifestyle become a part of our lives, that social media trends reflect the most popular happenings in the actual world. Be it work from home- owing to the lockdown due to Covid-19 or even a particular song/clipping that goes viral, it lets us know about the things that are influencing the human mind the most at a particular point of time. The world of hashtags can change our opinion on a particular topic. All of us follow those trends on social media to blend up with the digital society. But have we ever wondered how these trends are created?

If you search for the latest trending hashtags on Twitter, you will realize that they change every hour. The hashtag #RajivGandhi to commemorate his death anniversary or #prayforbengal owing to the destruction caused by the cyclone Amphan, any event, no matter how significant, can become the talk to the town in no time. Such trends are organic and non-toxic as they emerge dynamically as an automated consequence of the latest events in the public interest. These trends include topics of national and international importance that affect our day-to-day lives.
Some trends are created for misleading people. Social media is the home to people with varied mindsets. This opens up an opportunity for some users to spread fake news. They lade these social platforms with influencers whom the masses follow. In such scenarios, implanting a fake social media trend for the sake of marketing isn't a tough job. They pay some social media agencies hefty sums to create a fake trend on various topics including politics, entertainment, medicine, sports, literature, and science. Keeping in mind the reach of such influencers and agencies, it's almost impossible to differentiate fake news and as a result masses and even celebrities fall prey to it. After a certain point, the fake trend is so widespread that it gains public support and the initial purpose of creating a fake trend is achieved.
On one side, social media trends have been the pioneer in raising awareness and funds for social causes and have come out as a helping hand to thousands of people. However, on the other side of the coin, it is badly influencing the physical and mental health of individuals, especially the youth. Most of the youth fall prey to these trends and in their race to blend themselves in this fake world, they put themselves in a place where the line between the virtual and real-world diminishes. Not being able to keep up with an ongoing trend creates a feeling of negativity and inferiority in these adolescent minds, leaving a long-term impact on their mental health.
Most of the social networking sites are equipped with the facility to manage trends. Every platform has a unique set of audience, and the same is the case with the trends. They differ according to the networking platform. It's likely to happen that if a particular topic is trending on Facebook, that trend might not even exist on Instagram. These trends might last for a few days to weeks and even for years depending on the priority and the cause.
Since each person has a different social network and our search preferences play a major role in deciding the trends we see on social media. For example, if you search for a painting tutorial on the internet, you might see a lot of art trends and challenges on your feed. The social media algorithms continuously keep a check on our preferences and automatically show us what we want to see.
Who, What, and Why - These are the three factors that decide the impact that a trend will have on the masses. It is the harsh truth that these trends are just a web of lies which is a build-up to influence the masses. Keeping away from such trends is not a feasible solution, but letting such trends dominate our thoughts is our choice.\

Digital Etiquettes-The key to a better online experience
It is not unknown to us that in the society that we live in there are a set of rules and etiquettes that are meant for us to follow. Be it greeting your colleague at the workplace or particular dress codes for particular occasions, using earphones while in public, or the host paying the bill for dinner. These small steps make society a better place for us. But in today’s world, technology has endowed with us a digital society as well and this society has its own set of precautions and etiquettes for a safe online experience. The cyberspace, on one hand, is the storehouse of incredible facts and information but, on the other hand, it’s the platform for black marketers to gain access to all your personal information. One blunder or carelessness from your side can make you prone to a series of cyber threats. In such scenarios, digital etiquette is the key to a safe and seamless travel in this cyberspace.
To make the internet experience more remarkable it’s imperative to follow the set of formulated etiquettes and precautions. But before that, it is required for all of us to be all aware of the threats of the cyber world so that we can take the necessary steps to keep ourselves safe and secure.
There are millions of existing cyber threats and new ones are being created continuously. The prominent cyber threats include malware and phishing. Malware targets the data on one’s system and corrupts data or takes over the system, whereas phishing involves tricking email recipients into clicking on malicious links. Data breaches, denial of service, and ransomware are the common cyber threats that take thousands of people as their prey every day around the globe.
We can prevent the aforementioned threats through the use of proper firewalls and security software, but the stringent task is to safeguard oneself from human error. We all know human beings are subject to mistakes. Despite the increasing number of solutions for security, inadvertent human errors keep creating opportunities for hackers to exploit their weaknesses. The everyday examples of human error include sharing work email id with anonymous individuals or websites, sharing sensitive information, browsing unprotected sites, and clicking on malicious links and not reporting any suspicious activity.

So, how can we stay protected? I assure you it’s not a challenging task. By taking a few simple precautions, one can stay safe and secured. Avoid opening any emails from strangers or any unidentifiable link. Protect your personal information and restrain from posting anything that can be a tool for cyberbullying, especially on social media. We all know the importance of passwords and the prime time that we use it to protect your privacy. Make sure you use only certified and dependable platforms for information sharing. It all depends on how attentive we are against such threats.
Apart from safeguarding yourself, we must consider the safety of other users. For that, there’s a set of etiquettes designed that we must follow so that the sanctuary of all the users is maintained. So, let’s have a look at them!!
Do not spy on someone else’s password. Contain from peeping into the device when one is entering the password.
Avoid reading emails without the owner’s permission.
Give credit to the person or the source if you are making use of their content.
Don’t violate the copyright rules. This may call for legal action.
Recoil from spreading fake news or rumors. It’s better not to share any content whose authenticity is questionable.
Restrict yourself from any offensive comment.
Read it out loud before posting any text online to avoid using any strong language. Words can easily be misunderstood in the cyberspace.
As we are well aware of the world of the internet is vast and to make it better for everyone we need to adhere to the precautions and etiquettes. The internet has the power to improve our lives, and it’s our responsibility we use it appropriately and safely.

Role of Client in Web Development
The job of a web developer begins at their computers and the final project ends up being served at thousands of screens. For a business launching themselves in the online space, a website or web app could be a make or break thing. The shift of consumers from offline to online markets is helping them make more intelligent decisions and smarter purchases. A business’s online presence is extremely integral for its wider reach in today’s marketplace. To ensure that the consumers are satisfied and most importantly, the client is, from the digital portrayal of their business, a plethora of key points are to be kept in mind.
Each client has a different understanding of aesthetics and visuals. A harmonious relationship between the client and the developer is so essential because it helps the developer enliven the imagination of their client on the canvas; the various digital platforms. The client has to take the developer through a walkthrough of their business and its intricacies to make them familiar with the kind of thoughts they have in mind for the development of their website or app. The purpose of the developer is to solve the technical challenges and very often clients come across developers who do not match their visual and artistic frequencies. Hence, the foremost idea to be kept in the mind of the client should be to provide as much information as they possibly can. A prototype made in the past, a rough UI design by their designer, or just a layout in their mind could help the developer significantly. It is also very beneficial to do all this basic outlining before the development starts, to let the developer have their space and freedom for maximum yield and efficiency. Sharing their flavor in color pattern, functionalities, typography and the kind of visual media to be displayed helps in maintaining a smooth flow.
As quoted by Nat Turner - Good communication is the bridge between confusion and clarity. If a client does not communicate their set of requirements and ethics effectively, it not only constructs a communication barrier but also creates the possibility of dissatisfaction which further leads to displeasure and low hope in the completion of tasks. The developer might be working with the client for the very first time and they need to be well-educated with their client’s principles for a fulfilling experience. Communication is of humongous importance for effortless traversal of ideas between both ends.
A widespread and major mistake that clients make is not updating their webspace with the latest trends and hence, not keeping the initial buzz alive. The relationship between the client and their developer does not end after the mere launch. Launch, of course, is the most important landmark in this process but like a garden full of flowers does not bloom if it is not watered and taken proper care of, a website/app does not flourish without the implementation of new research in its modules. Managing a website/app requires planning for increased sales and perpetual success.

The Indian IT sector- Is it ready for the world yet?
As per the statistics, the IT sector in India is one of the fastest-growing sectors in India and is expected to expand to the worth of 350 billion dollars in the coming five years. It is very likely to emerge as one of the largest employment-generating sectors of the country. But there are signs that the growth rate of the IT sector is on the downhill trend and the pinch is being felt by the leading players in the market. Moreover, the Indian IT industry hasn’t been able to rise and make a mark globally yet. The development of the IT sector has been among the top priorities of the government throughout the past decade, but the efforts haven’t yielded very encouraging results. Hence, it’s the need of the hour to introspect into the reason(s) the Indian IT sector isn’t prepared to conquer the world at present.
Scroll through the list of most downloaded applications worldwide on android or IOS platforms. Hardly any Indian based applications have made it to the list. Although there are a few Indian players, who have tried to prove their mettle the overall outlook is not satisfactory. Further, some allegations against a few IT companies in recent times have resulted in a rather negative image of the industry as a whole.
The government took a series of initiatives under the Digital India program for the strengthening of the IT industry from the grass-root level, which envisaged for improved infrastructure, engagement of the more skilled workforce, and encouragement and incentives to domestic industries. Despite the government pulling up socks to put in the best of its efforts, there are constraints to India becoming the next leaders in Information Technology.

The bulk of the workforce employed by these global IT giants comes from India. Be it the engineers or the CEOs in household names such as Google, Microsoft, or Facebook, Indians as individuals have proved their dominance globally. However, if we take a closer look at the country's information technology sector setup, the flaws and gaps are quite evident.
The big question is What exactly is the problem here? When we look deeper into it, we see that one of the major problems is the acceptability of the Indian IT sector by the public. Due to the inevitable predominance of foreign industries, the masses find it rather difficult to trust the Desi brands with their products or services. Ensuring a happy company-customer relationship through dedicated and professional support is the key factor they lack here. Ironically, the masses of our country trust a foreign brand more than the domestic ones, and sadly the IT sector hasn’t yet been successful in breaking this barrier.
Another major concern is on the marketing front. Development of the brand and its proper placement in the market, both lack the required strategy and the effort. The IT sector is still struggling with identifying its target customers and understanding their needs in the context of the local environment and industry. Indian IT companies began as service providers and should have gradually transformed themselves into producers of pure software companies, but this has been a delusion for them like building a sandcastle. On the one hand, they provide limited services, and on the other hand, the services that are provided lack proper marketing. These companies have a rather poor reputation when it comes to customer satisfaction, eave alone customer delight.
My word of wonder goes that necessity is the mother of invention, but in the field of science and technology, inventions become a necessity of our day-to-day life. In this era of digitalization, when the world is moving towards new and innovative methods like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and blockchain techniques, the Indian IT sector still seems to be finding solace with the age-old methods and technology. The advancements in the global world of science and technology will be hugely beneficial in increasing working efficiency and providing better results, but these companies seem to be slow in adopting the latest trends, be it due to their constraints of finances or skilled workforce or the persistence of the think tank to switch over to the best in industry. Hence, we stare at the IT industry of our country, unable to kick-start or accelerate their journey of transformation to be the global giants due to the huge gap in the demand and supply chain for the skilled workforce and resources. This will require a Herculean effort from all related entities to bring our Desi IT names to the forefront of this global village called Earth.

Virtual classrooms- the new-age learning experience!
In the millennial era, teachers are looking for better and more effective methods for teaching and virtual classrooms have come as a boon to the students. Now the first question that pops up in the mind is what exactly is a virtual classroom? We come across a lot of definitions about a virtual classroom but in simpler words, these classrooms focus on providing an online learning experience to the students which are more flexible and focused on their needs.
Virtual classrooms are equipped with specially designed tools to present the learning content to the students in an interactive manner. It helps students across the globe to connect on a similar platform and learn from the best of mentors. It provides them with varied insight into the various cultures, attitudes, and approaches from various spheres of life. Virtual classrooms focus on creating a curriculum that is accessible to the students as per their availability. It comes with a set of tests, assignments, presentation, and discussions which assist the students in their learning.
“Tell me and I will forget.
Teach me and I will remember.
Involve me and I will learn”
- Benjamin Franklin
Here at Webial technology, we focus on creating a digital learning experience curated according to the needs of the students. We understand that each student comes with his own set of abilities, qualities, and pace of learning. Our programs are formulated to train the students considering their capabilities and bring out the best in them.

We offer live training programs and projects in the fields of programming languages, database management, application development, scripting languages, content management systems, software utilities, and other web development services.
We aim at two-way learning. Unlike the traditional learning environment, we make sure to establish the student-teacher interaction, student to student interaction and interaction between the learner and the content. We use various tools like brainstorming, group discussions, collaborative and individual activities, and question-answer sessions to ensure the active participation of the learners. We leave no stone unturned to create a collaborative learning environment where the learners can share their ideas, learnings, views, and interests to achieve the established objective.
Lectures, which are a major component of the traditional method of teaching, often ignore the fact that every student has his/her speed of learning. Webial, through its video- lectures and self-directed activities, lets the student grab the concepts at its own pace. Student-centric learning is our top priority. Presenting the learning content with texts, visuals, diagrams, and examples create more flexible learning for the students. It caters to the need of every single student, be it individual learning or group collaboration and keeps hold of the student’s interest.
A virtual classroom enables its students to work from the comfort of his/her homes, away from distractions, which creates an emotionally safer environment to learn and grow. It gives them the motivation and self-confidence to create something new and nurture their creativity.
One of the major drawbacks that the users of virtual classrooms have experienced is that the student may lack social, moral and life skills. It gets difficult to provide learners with hands-on or practical experience. They lack the opportunity of face-to-face interaction with fellow students.
Here at Webial, as our motto goes, we strive for perfection. So our focus is not only on the academic abilities of our students, but also work for the social skills of our students. We aim for the overall development of the student through our live classroom activities and give our best to provide them with the experience for all spheres of life.
It’s often seen that virtual learning can be an expensive affair. Further network availability can also create hurdles for the students. We set our sights on providing affordable and easy to access platform for the students to learn and grow.
Webial understands its role as a mentor in the age of virtual classrooms. Our services understand the needs of the learners and provide an enhanced and personalized overall learning experience to our users. With the aid of technology, we aim to bridge the gap between the learner and the learned to help them come out with flying colors in various vistas of life.

Interview Tips
Before every interview, every candidate feels surrounded by nervousness and anxiety. How to sit, what posture to maintain, how to speak. We fear we might fall short on one thing on another and would fall behind. Besides, it is the interview round which matters greatly since it tells the employer how great a personality you have. Therefore, it is important that before going for the interview you are fully prepared. You need to arm yourselves in the best way to win at the interviews. So, take out your pen and paper, and take a good look at these tricks which you can apply to ace the interviews!
During the interview, the people of the panel take a good look at your personality. The common knowledge tells us that we should be dressed smartly and not sloppily, that our posture should be erect and we should take some confidence syrup before going for the interview. These things are, of course, important. However, what no one tells you about is the digital personality that complements your physical personality and its importance in winning the heart of the judges of the panel. To impress the interviewer(s), you need to make them realize how hardworking and diligent you are without explicitly telling them and having a charming professional online presence is how you do it.

This digital presence is not just important for students from an IT background but students from every field need to gather importance in the digital world. Even though resumes are an important part of the interview and selection process, they are not sufficient to help you get to new heights. Your personality needs to shine brighter and these tips can help you get it.
You can begin with creating a YouTube channel and have a presence on a platform that enables you to interact with your followers and engage with them. The channel can revolve around your field and the challenges one is likely to face within this particular field. The channel should not give the hint of an immature person but should be maintained in such a way that it showcases your professionalism and seriousness towards the field.
Even when it comes to your personal social media accounts, you need to act more maturely. You can follow such pages on Facebook and YouTube that give out serious and valuable content related to your field. Your interviewer is more likely to browse through your public profile and judge you based on your interests and activities on it.
A LinkedIn Profile is extremely important when you enter the professional world. Making an account on LinkedIn is a serious business. It is a platform through which you can make several professional contacts and can meet employers. To garnish your professional digital presence, you must follow influential people on LinkedIn. There, you can easily find many professionals in your field. Not only would this make you look good at the time of the interview but would also be informative for you.
Keep an eye on various (related to your field) blog sites and forums. You should regularly read these, participate in discussions, comment, et al on these blog posts or articles. Your engagement with the professional world is important and you need to garner as much information as you can about your field. It is always considered wise to discuss and seek new ideas. Just like the YouTube channel, you should create your own blog and regularly upload on it. Engage with people in the comment sections, into health debates.
There are many international exams in which you can take part to increase your chances of landing good opportunities in the professional world. Many industries conduct such exams which can be helpful in your field. The certificates, as well as the knowledge you gain from these, add to your experience, your personality, and not to mention, your resume.
You must invest your time and effort in the above mentioned tips. They will add more value to your side than your academic credentials. Today, just scoring a perfect 95 is not what the companies are looking for. They want hardworking and serious individuals who are versatile and take their professional life seriously. They would hire you not because of your beautiful mark sheet but only if your abilities are par excellence and beneficial to them.
So get on that laptop and design yourself into a professional of great credentials and win that interview!

Academic Curriculum Vs Industry Requirements in IT Field
Before we start, let’s answer one question “How many universities provide the knowledge required in the industry apart from the theoretical knowledge?” I know that this question is very controversial, but most of us already know the answer. Our academics, right from the beginning focuses on theoretical knowledge and rote-learning but when we reach college, we expect things to be different. Emphasizing on theoretical knowledge is acceptable as long as the students get to learn the industry requirements and experience.
On the contrary, if they are taught obsolete programs and software along with theoretical subjects being the main focus, students start losing interest. They study just for the sake of studying and not learning. This is an unfair structure that hinders the growth of both the parties, students and the IT companies. The companies have to teach the freshers everything from scratch which doesn’t cost them money but ‘time’ which is more valuable than any other entity.
What the company needs is not taught to students and vice versa. Let’s take the example of C++, Java, and Oracle that are very much there in the course along with theoretical subjects like Information System and Operation Research. But the fact is that the industry is working on the latest frameworks where these programming languages have either become obsolete or have negligible use. Now, what are these latest frameworks? They are :
MEAN Stack
Hybrid
Machine Learning
IoT
Blockchain
AR/VR
Edge Computing
Django
React JS
Vue.js These frameworks are in trend and it’s not even about the trend, the fact being they are easy to operate.
The future does not belong to developers and programmers because the latest software and programs don’t require the heavy technical proficiency that they used to. Nowadays, a software company lets anybody create their own website with just simple drag and drop options. Where you just upload the content that you want on your website and voila, your website is ready in minutes. This clearly shows that we are dropping the conventional ways to a much advanced and brighter future.
This will ensure that the remotest population can reach the global markets and lead their businesses towards prosperity. Imagine going to college and getting hands-on experience in industrial work and standards! This process saves time as the freshers start working immediately after their college and don’t need any external help to understand the operations. Also, the companies only have to delegate the task and not show them how it’s done, thus saving time and resources.

IT has been one of the major industries in India. According to NASSCOM, the contribution of the IT sector towards Indian GDP in the year 2017 was 7.7%. This was the time when students were taught the conventional ways but now when the technology has gotten innovative and forefront, we can conquer all and any challenges provided that Millennials are well educated about the advancement. But why don’t they get a chance to learn the exceptional and the extraordinary methods that would make everybody’s future brighter and better?
To paint a better picture we should discuss modern ways rather than whining about the traditional ones. Social media optimization (SMO) is one such field of IT that doesn’t require traditional IT knowledge to be an expert in the field. SMO is the use of various social media platforms to manage and expand the organization’s online presence. This helps in targeting the global market with just the basic knowledge of social media network and their functioning. Also, Millennials are the most active members of this platform which makes them the perfect set of people to work in this domain.
Similarly, programming and development of software and website don’t require the typical IT knowledge. If you peruse the market properly you will realise that even though the technology has moved ahead and made lives easier of the employees, but the conventional ways are not the right way out, especially for the Millennials. Since we have established the fact that the IT industry contributes to our GDP in big numbers, still it is mandatory to bridge the gap between the industry requirements and academic syllabus so that the posterity can also prosper. We know it is hard to alter the whole curriculum but few additions and some more subtraction won’t harm anyone.

Importance Of Website
Owning a website in this era of digital marketing ensures a long term survival of the business. It gives the organization an image of being approachable. Businesses these days more on social media marketing, which is not wrong but incomplete. Having posts with millions of likes doesn’t matter if the customers don’t know where to find you. A website will help the customers peruse your brand and products. Since it is not possible to open an outlet in every city in the world, having a website is the only inexpensive way to reach out to global customers.
Constructing a website seems like a technical task which it totally is but also it is an art. I know it sounds like a motivational speech but believe me that is the truth. Your website shows how creative your personality is. Coding is the technical aspect of a website but how and where the content should be placed, is the creative aspect which is important in various ways. The content cannot be randomly placed on a website as it would look messy or distorted. Also, how a website looks is equally important. Too many colors would make it tacky and fewer colors would make it plain and disinteresting. It has to be a perfect combination of some selected colors.
The theme of your website should match your operations. The logo has to be a certain way and should be placed at a proper angle. Having a travel website with the logo of a newspaper would make the appearance messy as it would look that you built it hastily. But having a scenic view or wild animals would appear that you stand for more than just traveling. Sounds intriguing? I know it is because a lot of planning goes into it and not just binary digits.
It is not a compulsion to own a website but not having one might hinder your growth. Let’s discuss why is it important to have a website-
1. Search Engine- Whenever we are looking for something or someone, the first thing we do is google them. Similarly, when a customer is looking for a product or a brand similar to yours they search it on a search engine. Also, they are more likely to explore the first 5-6 results. This is called Search Engine Optimization, their rank is in the top results because they have optimized their websites in such a way that most of the traffic is drawn to their website through organic search engine results.

This makes sure that you are visible to the prospective market and people have liked your organization.
2. Accessible- As we discussed this problem earlier that it is not possible for every business to be omnipresent, it is mandatory to have a website so that the customers can understand your operations. Even after having a social media account to target the Millenials and the celebs it is hard to understand what a company stands for. Having a website makes it easier for the customers to not only understand the brand but also order directly from the website so that there is no third party involvement.
3. Global Market- It used to be hard to target the global market when there was no internet. Only luxurious brands had the luxury to target global customers, but now when we have the internet, we don’t have to have millions of dollars to target them. You just need a website and everyone will know about your presence provided that you have a powerful website. If you are resourceful in the sense that you have left a mark on your customers then your presence will be global and nothing will be able to stop you.
4. Grievance Redressal- A website also helps the customers in a number of ways. We know social media makes it easy for the customers to reach the respective company during times of crisis and make sure that they are heard. But most of the time their grievances are stuck in the comment section of the social media posts. So when they seek redressal through their website the chances of getting heard increase, thus the trust grows stronger. Also, websites already hold a QnA section that involves various frequently asked queries, ensuring that their doubt is already resolved.
5. Investment- Website is like an investment, where if you don’t get a return in the first year there are chances that it will pay off in the future. Unlike a newspaper ad that is forgotten at the end of the day. The money that you spend on a newspaper ad cannot be refunded but investing in a website will pay off eventually.
See, and you thought a website is optional. Make sure that you not only have an attractive website but also informative for customer’s sake. This will increase the scale of your operations and attract more customers who are not only local but also global. So, build one now.
