♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Cosimo 》
MUNDANES COULD BE SUCH TOUCHY LITTLE THINGS , but cosimo would not lie to spare anyone’s feelings . what was the point in that when it did not change a thing about the truth ? no , they all needed to deal with it , even if it hurt like a bitch . ❛ if you ask me , they should just burn them . the world is dark . it will always be dark , but maybe something would change if people started to take responsibility for their own actions . ❜ the blond watched the mother of monsters , shrugging . ❛ i got them back . i have my family right by my side . there are angelic parents that weren’t so lucky . ❜ many of them died and others nearly lost their minds over the grief that they felt when their children were taken from them . it was particularly gruesome , knowing that there were barely any nephilim that made it past the baby age . cosimo , however , planned on laying eternity at his children’s feet . even god knew that . ❛ they are trying to make it seem like fun and games , but no . that’s not what it is . ❜ he sighed in annoyance , glancing around the room . ❛ i don’t know for sure, shiva . there are rumors that the seelies planned this to overthrow the clave and end their barbaric reign . yet , this feels a little too extreme to be about the accords . ❜ they could have refused to sign the new ones , after all . there was no need to trap almost all supernatural beings in one dimension for it .
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
❝ Never underestimate Mundanes and Faith, they’ll just make another fucking doctrine to follow. Another holy book and then interpret it their own way, ❞ she shook her head. ❝ A bible fire, ❞ she mused. ❝ I would love to be invited to that party, ❞ she smirked. Just like they used those fires too burn witches and anything that was deemed different. Her children included. ❝ Responsible for their actions, ❞ Shiva repeated with a scoff. ❝ I think hell will actually freeze over when that happens. I doubt we will see that ice rink any time fucking soon, ❞ she shook her head. ❝ Though I agree they should but I know they won’t, ❞ sure not everyone was like that. However enough were for it t be a problem. She gave a sad smile and nodded ❝ No parent should live though that anguish, yet too many have. ❞ It was never easy seeing a new face in purgatory. Though the arrivals that pained her the most were any of her direct descendants. It hurt her so much to see one of the twin originals of the phoenixes join her.
❝ Yeah I guessed that much, ❞ she crossed her arms. ❝ What’s your theory on it then? Because I agree that it isn’t just to do with some laws. Something should be done about them from what I hear, but this is a little too fucking far, ❞ she shook her head and emphasising little in a sarcastic way. Blowing up a city? Involving innocents? Shiva was not a fan of the method.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Yue 》
Yue gave a bitter smile in reply. “So he told you. I think my eldest three still have nightmares about it once in a while,” they would text him when it happens. Or when they thought they saw him somewhere. Which was interesting because he swore he has been seeing his face about here as well, but the fact Shiva confirmed he was in purgatory meant that it wasn’t him. Someone was using his face. That… was a little worrying now that he came to think of it. As she mentioned comfort and help Yue stared at her in mild bemusement. She did seem to have the motherly qualities, but he still felt that this may be given at an angle. “Thanks,” he said with a hint of caution. Then realised she was most likely was being genuine. “Sorry I’m not used to this kind of affection,” he told her.
“It has stopped me going insane or bitter,” he shrugged. Young was vindictive and would declare war if his kind were threatened. Yue couldn’t do that. It would cause more harm to his race than good. Though he was not exactly a fan of hiding but he had been burnt by the reality of fighting back. Sometimes it was better to forgive those that torment you than to go against them. Even if he wanted to. Body count is lower too. Even if it meant there were still some rough patches.
“I appreciate that, please don’t take it personally I don’t have many friends for a reason,” the ones that do stick around either do it by force or he genuinely has seen he can trust them. Though even then he always prepared for the worse. He had been stung so may times before. “There is a family none of them have ruffled any feathers, the inquisitor who I suspect is here for answers and a council member’s daughter who has been adopted by war,” he told her. “I don’t put a lot of faith in the race in general. We phoenixes keep to ourselves, but the general consensus is they are not well liked,” he told her. “I think with anyone is get a feel for them yourself before making any judgements on what you should do. I think the ones here are just trying to process what has happened and protect themselves. They say part of the reason we are here is because of their rules. The accords” he told her.
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
❝ Yes he told me the details I was fairly horrified truth be told. Took my a while to process it but I felt he was plagued by abandonment issues. Which unfortunately I played a part in, but then I also didn’t have much fucking choice in the matter, ❞ she sighed. That choice was robbed from her. She felt this would take a while but she wanted her family back again. She wanted to be there for them and she still had much to prove to Yue. He had a long time without her and had been hunted most of his life. Good thing the parents that took him and his brother in were mundane and long dead because she would in a heartbeat make sure they suffered just as much as her sons did. ❝ If it’s too much let me know, ❞ she didn’t want to overcrowd him.
❝ I can imagine, ❞ she agreed. He heart really went out to her son. She just wanted to give him another hug but decided against it. Slowly build up to shooting her full affection. Shiva was Avery affectionate being to her children. She was made to be a mother after all. He had to be cautious, there were too many out there that would use their resources for their own gain for little regard on what it was doing to the being they were taking it from. Then there was the fact that dragons took their anger out on them. All of it made her angry but that was done and she would make sure it would not happen again she would also make sure that Dragons and phoenixes get the protection they deserve.
❝ I’m sorry it had to be that way, ❞ she told him. Perhaps something good can come of this, but with the way that everything has been going non it did not seem like they were heading for a happy ending. She listened to him talk about the shadowhunters that were here. ❝ Thank you for your insight, ❞ she nodded. She did wonder about them a little more but as Yue correctly said it was better to meet them and then cast judgement. ❝ Well with the horsemen’s rings involved it seems to be a lot fucking more than just that. Though perhaps this is a conversation best had indoors. We can go to the bar have a proper sit down and catch up or we can leave it here. I’ll let you make the choice, ❞ she suggested hoping her son would want more than a simple introduction.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Liana 》
“oh no, he has a plan,” gabriel scoffed. The days of them believing in god’s plan were long over, and in gabriel’s opinion, they took already long enough. The following words left gabriel speechless for a moment. “you… you are just telling me that?” she admired the honesty, but this came out of the blue. Never point out your weaknesses, one thing she always knew. And now, shiva just did exactly that. The immediate urge that rose in gabriel and liana at the same time was to move forward and hug shiva. Just hug her, hold her. “i will not betray you. Thank you for trusting me with this,” either, nobody else knew and she was overwhelmed with love because of this unexpected family reunion or shiva had a deathwish she didn’t know about yet. Quickly moving on from the topic and back to drinks, she pulled out of the embrace. Chuckling at the words, “oh what a combination. A nun and a party girl – sounds like the beginning of a hilarious joke and a wonderful story to keep in mind.”
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
❝ Ah yes the great and wonderful fucking ineffable plan, ❞ she replied with a bitter laugh. ❝ Funny how he uses that as a fucking scapegoat for his actions, ❞ because he can do no wrong. Ugh even thinking about it made her blood boil a little. Shiva looked at Gabriel and nodded slowly as she hugged her back. ❝ You’ve grown and gotten your own opinions. I am so proud of what you have become Gabriel. Yes I am trusting you with this. He’s also my son and technically your nephew, ❞ she told Gabe. Family did mean a lot to her. It was just she was not a fan of father. Though it seemed she was right in time a few more have grown to see things as they are. The rest were just stuck int their ways. Shiva chuckled in response to Gabe’s comment. ❝ It does, ❞ she agreed as they finally made it to the bar. ❝ I’ll let you order and we can put Liana’s taste to the test, ❞ she suggested.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Darcy 》
NOT HAVING TO BE INVITED TWICE , she sat down across from the woman, trying her best to not appear too eager. “ darcy, ” she replied to the other’s introduction, briefly lifting her own cup of coffee in both greeting and cheers. the understatement almost made her chuckle a little, despite the severity of the situation ; for those affected ( and who could tell who that would be, in the long run, with the rings gone? ) this certainly was a bad time . “ it’s a bit of a shitshow right now, ” she admitted with a sort of grudging cringe. “ but i’m sure it’ll sort itself out. ” it simply had to — for ciri’s sake and that of her own safety here. reluctant to discuss that issue much further, darcy switched the topic to her original intent again, trying to frame her question as delicately as possible. “ i am curious, though. you have a very … unique energy, i’ve never felt something like this before. are you a celestial of some sort? ”
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
Shiva smiled as the witch introduced herself. Two days and she could already see that the seeds of chaos had been sown in this realm. In purgatory she knew what she was getting and there were no surprises - even if it was rather barbaric. At least this was something different. So unlike the rest she wasn’t so tired of it all yet. ❝ Yes even in my short stay here I can see that clearly, ❞ as she mentioned she would hope it will sort itself out Shiva shrugged. ❝ A mess of this fucking magnitude doesn’t sort itself out easily, ❞ though she was swearing she tried to make it clear she was not showing disdain at her. ❝ Celestial is more angels, though they are my younger siblings I differ from them. I do have a unique energy but that is because I am unique. I would describe my energy as primordial rather than celestial, ❞ she explained. An ancient energy that created magnificent beings such as dragons and phoenixes. Manipulated mundanes to create Vampires and other monsters. Though she didn’t think them as monsters. Monsters sounded like they were nothing but beasts. Some did act out in that way but so did some mundanes, and father could act like a monster when he wanted to. ❝ The name most give me is mother of monsters, ❞ she added.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Yue 》
As his mother explained Si’s fate in the afterlife. He was angry that he killed his wife just because she was a mundane. She would have had a short life anyway but what he did to her and in front of his children was unforgivable. Though from his mother’s words he was at least feeling regret. He would never forgive him but he has moved on from it. He wouldn’t do anything against him but he would never trust him to the same extent. “I… I can’t say I will ever forgive him for what he did, but that does give me some solace yes. I have moved on and though I can face him again I will never trust him in the same way. I don’t tend to look back much not unless it has something of use that is needed in the present,” he flinched slightly from the touch but did not pull away from it. It was just so odd to have such a familial touch.
“As for giving us away you said we could harm you. I believe we always have a choice and to make the best one we should look at all options. If grandfather, the holy father locked you away soon after your approximation of it being worse for us may be correct, but we will never know so it’s best not to focus on that,” he never really had high regard for the lord god anyway. Though his life was a little on the rough side and a constant fight for survival can make you incredibly bitter. Though if he was consider blasphemous to him maybe that’s why he hasn’t stuck a finger out. However Yue has also noticed that he hasn’t stuck a finger out for anyone.
As she mentioned about being more of a part in his life. “That sounds nice, but at the moment that’s all it is. It sounds nice. It’s not you but I have lived a rather guarded life. I am not opposed to letting you in but it will take time for me to trust you and that you’re not just going to use me for your own gains,” he told her. He was like this with everyone, he had to be. He’s been stung in the past and used as well. “As for the shadowhunters in here they are barely a threat. We don’t have that many and though I have not really interacted with that many but one that one didn’t seem to follow the crowd. It’s out there that need to worry about it and there is no way to communicate outside this realm,” perhaps if they got out it may work. He needed time with it to figure it out.
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
❝ I don’t expect you to, what he did was fucking horrific, ❞ she sympathised. His stories through it made it sound like the fae child he adopted was the one that was driving him further into madness. ❝ Though I am relieved you have moved on in some way. That matter is between you and him as my sons I just want to at least be of comfort and help you in any way I can, ❞ she told him. She took her hand away. He was not used to this kind of presence and that pained her. It was not going to be a simple and easy fix but since they had time here she would use it with gaining his trust.
❝ You’re right, ❞ she agreed. ❝ You have an admirable way of thinking, ❞ though it was probably his upbringing that helped him think that way. To dwell on things in a constant state of survival was only going to hold you back. Shiva knew that well. Otherwise she would have long gone insane with grief. She would make father pay though. She would help her children get a better footing on the world. She didn’t want war but she would call out one if it was needed.
She could understand why he had to be the way he was, and she knew it was not going to be an instantaneous thing either. ❝ I’ll be patient and let you take your time with it. I don’t wish to use you. I am not my father. I don’t expect you to follow me blindly. I need to prove to you I am worth being followed and someone you can place your trust in. If you help me I will help you it’s not a one way thing,’ she told him. ❝ I see, well isn’t that just fucking great, ❞ she sighed meaning about the lack of communication. ❝ Shadowhunters were not around when I walked the earth so all I know is what I hear from those that have died from their hands and I don’t really like what I heard, but if you say the ones here are barely a threat I’ll take your word. Though what about the others? ❞ She asked.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Cosimo 》
A FAINT SCOFF came from his lips when the mother of monsters admitted that her vessels had been head over heels for god before shiva possessed her and showed her what he was really like . ❛ they only see what their eyes want to see . if they truly opened them , it would not take possession for them to learn the truth . ❜ but the angel supposed that it would never change . no matter how tragic that was . ❛ rumors about my actions spread like wildfire . ❜ cosimo shrugged his shoulders . ❛ i never cared about the consequences . god has no right to take my family away from me . we have done nothing to harm anybody that did not deserve it . ❜ especially not his children . they were innocent . mismatched eyes were resting on her features when shiva told him about her experiences in purgatory . it did not sound easy , but the creature in front of him was hardly breakable . ❛ i am glad you did find something to keep you sane . ❜ the blond wasn’t so sure if he would have been that strong , but that was yet another reason why he felt proud of her . she defied their father’s punishments countless times , just like he did . it created a bond that was hard to ignore . ❛ even if this place might continue to test your sanity . ❜ being stuck here surely wasn’t a piece of cake and truth be told , the angel was tired of it . he just wanted to return to italy so his son could be born in peace .
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
She could feel the words affect Ysayle and she internally told her that not all truths were easy to face. The girl was naive to say the least but in that naivety she found happiness in a less than ideal life. ❝ Well the old testament is not too far off. Most just focus on the new and happy testament because it’s easier to swallow. Then use the old when they want to back up their irrational hatreds, ❞ she sighed. Then again her children were not exactly better when dragons hunted down phoenixes just because their ashes can kill her and the fact that their creation weakened her. Difference was Father could step in she was imprisoned. ❝ He had no right. He’s a selfish fucking bastard and anything that can threaten his rule is seen as a threat no matter if they actually are or not. I am sorry you had to suffer that, ❞ if she was there she would not have stood for it. But Cosimo has proved he can look after himself and his own.
Shiva shook her head and sighed, ❝ It was a harsh reality and most of them don’t fucking deserve that fate. ❞ Her children deserved a chance at heave or hell like everyone else. Though the rules to get into heaven were fucking convoluted. Father never wanted his precious kingdom spoiled. ❝ I’m guessing your stay here hasn’t been fun and games, ❞ she commented. ❝ From what little I saw on my short visit to the outside it’s a mess, ❞ otherwise how else would she have gotten out? ❝ I’ve heard some things about what’s going on but maybe you could give me something more definitive? ❞ She asked. Perhaps she could try an help but from what she was gathering it seemed like a rather frustrating and helpless situation.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Liana 》
Obedience worked for a very long time. All up until you fail to see the point in it. With no explanation, only questions left behind — and then, being absent. Gabriel did not feel like she had been abandoned, not really. Her acts had nothing vile or bad intentions behind them, they just were for her, for her fun. For an endless life, there must be more purpose than serving as a soldier. Some others failed to see that, but she was sure that one day everyone would reconsider, no matter how loyal. “I don’t think… I haven’t spoken to him in a very long time.” Losing Lucifer was only one thing that hurt him enough to pull back and from then on, it didn’t get better. Gabriel doubted that he would ever get over it. A laugh crossed her features, “Yeah. You do seem pretty indestructable. And honestly? I am more than happy about it.” They said sincerely. Agreeing with the suggestion of grabbing drinks, “Oh, you have no idea. You’re in for a wild ride,” they told her, “Liana, my vessel has some very specific drink wishes, let’s see if you are more into them than I am.” But yeah, it was part of giving and receiving, keeping the vessel happy. They liked this one, they got along very well. Gabriel was glad to not need to have Liana locked away and silenced. She followed the path Shiva took, because, she sure know better where to find the good places.
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
❝ I doubt Father has anything fucking useful to say about his actions anyway, ❞ she shrugged. Everyone pictures him as the all knowing. He’s just as clueless figuring out this life as everyone else is. Why else would it take 4 versions of a creation to get to his favourites. He just acted as if it was all part of his plan. Ironically she created the only thing that could kill her. Shiva smirked. ❝ Almost, though my actual weakness is here. As long as he is alive though there is no threat of me dying any time soon, ❞ she replied honestly, though with the chaos of no death it was unlikely anyone was going to die anytime soon. Her almost indestructible nature meant she could protect her children at least the ones that were here. Though the ones out there have been fending for themselves without her for a very long time. ❝ Now you have me interested. All I have had for the past 5 millennia is beer or mead, ❞ grapes didn’t grow well due to the harsh conditions but at least wheat and honey were accessible. The quality wasn’t great but that didn’t matter when all you wanted to do was get drunk. ❝ We’ll let see about Liana’s taste. Ysayle was a nun before I took her so the most alcohol she has had is the sip of communal wine every Sunday, ❞ she shrugged.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Luna 》
— dagon knew marcos would never remember elsa, but she hoped that perhaps she could show him memories of her lover. and he’d have luna as well. dagon had wanted to bring elsa back, resurrect her as a demon. but elsa hadn’t wanted dagon to waste marcos’ childhood trying to chase after her dead wife. and the demon couldn’t disrespect her wishes. perhaps when marcos was older, if it was his decision. elsa wouldn’t begrudge them that. “ no, it is not. but she didn’t want me to spend our son’s childhood chasing her. ” she sighed. “ perhaps we can still have some time for fun, in between all of the chaos. ” she offered. although she knew with her current plans, it was unlikely. “ it’s the feeding, and the control, and i know there are those here who could help her, but having to worry about her with everything else going on… ” dagon sighed. but she knew it would be worse if luna was allowed to roam as a mundane. “ i’ve had her too long. i’m worried about her fading if i stay too much longer. and originally, i had simply wanted her to turn because she’s important to me, and i think she’ll do well in our world, as opposed to the way that her mundane family treated her. but now, if i change vessels, then leaving her as a mundane puts her in more danger. ” although at least the shadowhunters wouldn’t be focused on luna, at the moment. “ i believe young was willing to turn her, if she decided. ” dagon nodded.
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
❝ We all want that for our loved ones, to move on and have their own lives, ❞ some of her kids didn’t and hunted down the phoenixes blaming them for her imprisonment. That she didn’t want them to do but it was out of her control and the dragons that freed her certainly got an earful. The damage was done anyway. ❝ It’s fine I am used to surviving in a wilderness with constant fighting. At least it’s prettier here, ❞ The fae did well in creating this realm. Though this was just the seelie realm. It did make her wonder what the underlie realm was like. ❝ Feeding I can help with. Control I think Young should help with that, but not a bad idea to talk to other vampires. Maybe seek the other baby vampire and see what their experience is? ❞ She created vampires but that did not mean she understood what they go through. ❝ I see the dilemma. I think making her a vampire is not a bad idea. Neither you nor Young are ones to be crossed, ❞ there was also werewolf but then they had a different issue of control. ❝ How is Young? ❞ She asked. What he has done with his curse was tremendous. She was so proud of him, but she still wouldn’t approach him. Though he couldn’t kill her she was not ready to face that act in her life. There was a lot of pain surrounding it on her end and at the time she felt she did what was right. It was still a shame to put all that on Young though.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Draven 》
“You seem fairly calm about this.” Draven commented, observing her carefully. “So then you must be an angel, which is how you’re able to tell, correct?” He had heard a few things about angels, read about them too. How they would take on vessels to step foot on earth and the different tiers of angels. There was no way to truly tell if they were related in that case, and so for now he would just go with it and find out what he could. Curiosity was getting the best of him. “Nothing major, I suppose. We had many differences and it simply didn’t work out.” It was a lie, but the best he could come up with at that very moment. “Only under the condition that you can tell me more about whatever it is that you know about… this so far.” The nephilim offered, referring to himself.
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
❝ I’m old as fuck and not a huge amount fazes me anymore, ❞ she told Draven truthfully. ❝ Not an angel. Same father yes, but not an angel. He created something more primordial before he went for celestial beings. I was created in between. When he still wanted beasts to roam his world. I am one of a kind so I don’t have a species name per se most just call me mother of monsters, ❞ she told him wondering if he would believe it. ❝ I’m sorry, ❞ she told him sympathising. Not everyone could get on. Shiva knew that. Still a shame she found the bond between mother and child magical, but then she was created to be nurturing. ❝ Well I recognise your angelic energy. I am just having difficulty placing who exactly. I have not seen my family in a very long time. You are a child of an archangel or the generation after, Seraphim. That I can tell. Nephilim’s are rare and from my time wondering the earth were very much frowned upon because father wouldn’t want something that powerful upsetting his fucking precious order. So usually killed on sight. If you harness your powers you’ll be very powerful indeed if you have not already, ❞ she told him.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Hannah 》
Another new person. Somehow that was exactly what Hannah needed to hear. She wasn’t the only one bumbling around in the woods for no reason. Maybe this woman could help her out. The urge to bounce with joy came and went fleetingly–she was far to dignified to ever do such a thing. The joy, however, remained. “I’ve never been hiking in my life and suddenly I’m thrust into some woods with no trail markers or maps. Not like I could read the map but really, they ought to have guides around telling you where to go,” she all but huffed in one long breath. Hannah fell into step behind Shiva, listening and cataloguing everything the woman said. No way could she be making all of this up. Hannah wasn’t creative enough for that. “Well, my name is Hannah. I’m-” It occurred to her suddenly that she could lie. She could come up with a new identity that fit her newest job description much better. While tempting, she let the thought fade into a wisp of a memory. “I’m a whitelighter, I guess? Brand new. I just started. I died at a party and given the choice between oblivion and a second chance, it’d be dumb to say goodbye, right?” It had been dumb to agree too but that was an entirely different matter. “Tell me about you. How’d you end up in this place?”
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
As she mentioned hiking and trail markers it reminded her of the little markers she would leave in purgatory for those that stuck with her so they can be guided to her. Those that stuck by her would help each other but there were those content not following others, some did come with a thirst for power. Those didn’t always last too long. Not like she liked ruling purgatory but it was the only way to try and keep the death count lower. The girl was new to the world and has only figured out a few things and now she was thrusted into the bigger picture. Good thing she found a mother then. Her introduction should be steady as to not be overwhelming but being in the fae realm there was probably little she could do to prevent that.
❝ A Whitelighter yes I know your kind, a guardian angel of sorts. A second chance in life is something you should always take. I am sorry you had to say goodbye to your previous one though, ❞ she had made new lives for some of her creations. Shifters and vampires had a mundane origin. Her way of putting the middle finger up to father like Lucifer was by creating Lilith and demons. She would have to warn her about some of her children. She hadn’t met any of the vampires here yet and she had been apart from them that long she wasn’t quite sure how they have evolved as beings. Her blood would be tempting though. ❝ Well now you know god is real, ❞ she started. ❝ He’s my father but I am not an angel. Far from it actually, ❞ she wondered how much she would actually believe of her story. Ysayle found it difficult at first. ❝ This world you have entered is bigger than you could have imagined in your previous life. So my story will seem a little fantastical to you. It’s also best told with a drink, ❞ perhaps it was best to tell her about the fae first.
❝ What might be more important is telling you about the place you have found yourself in. Fae, Fair folk, or Fairies exist. Though not how you imagine them. They are tricksters by nature and follow two courts. For ease lets just say light and dark but it’s a little more complex than that. We are in the seelie realm the light fae. I don’t know why but someone else might. These tricksters won’t harm you but that doesn’t mean they are not cruel. However some do just love a party. Just be careful of who you trust and that can be said of anyone you meet here, ❞ she told her. She seemed sweet and Shiva was keen to protect her and if she allowed it to maybe help her until she found her feet in this new world.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Cosimo 》
WHO DETERMINED WHAT SHOULD or should not exist ? who decided which species should be protected at all costs and which should be hunted ? it wasn’t fair if that decision was made by one man and one man only . it was god who created them , but there was so much more to their universe than him . no matter how fiercely cosimo used to love their father , it all came to an end the moment he ordered the destruction of his newborn daughter . nothing would ever be enough to make him forgive that , or to make him believe that the killing order was justified . mismatched eyes studied her closely when she told him that she was proud of him . how much did she know ? it was hard to tell , but the warm smile on her face struck him as genuine , so he chose to be honest when he parted his lips to speak . ❛ he has always been quite creative . ❜ and not in a good way . ❛ interesting how mundanes still think of him as the good guy , isn’t it ? ❜ and not just them . it was damn near impossible to get other angels to open their eyes to the truth . ❛ five centuries ago , i got married to end an old italian blood feud . father was displeased , but he let things go on . my first wife had a lady in waiting that left me no choice but to feel for her . we fell in love and we had our firstborn child . aurora de’ medici . when he heard about that he refused to accept it . i lost my child and my wife and he erased my memories . ❜ it took him way too long to retrieve them , but well . it was not easy to fight their creator . ❛ once i remembered , i made plans to free their souls from the empty . ❜ an impossible task , according to most beings on this planet , but cosimo succeeded . ❛ aurora and anastasia are alive . we have had our second daughter , leilani , and our unborn son is on his way into this world . ❜ the seelie realm was not exactly the angel’s favorite choice for it , but there was nothing he could do about it now . liam would be taken to italy as soon as it was possible . ❛ what about you ? how did you pass your time down there ? ❜
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
Shiva’s eyes widened in agreement at this statement. ❝ Though in my case he was just reusing the same punishment as our elder siblings, ❞ she shrugged. There was no love lost between her and them. They just wanted to eat everything. No real personality either. ❝ I wouldn’t really know how they feel these days, though this particular vessel was head over heels for him until I shown her what he is actually like, ❞ she shrugged. She got stories of what was going on but that was it. She yearned daily to be back but focused on what she could. She she listened to Cosimo’s tale. To wipe the memory of your love and your child that was barbaric and her eyes darkened with anger. She would not have stood for it either.
❝ Word of that did ripple into Purgatory believe it or not, ❞ she told him. ❝ I would do the same for any of my children, ❞ though she was yet to meet someone she felt that strongly for. ❝ I am so happy that it has worked out for you, ❞ she told him. ❝ Ah well I made the place my own, as much as you can in a perpetual wilderness with very limited resources. As the times moved on outside and more of my children came to join me the resources would grow more scarce. It became a fight for survival and only a limited number of my children can survive so its turned into survival of the fucking fittest. Only father can manipulate the laws of the realm and I was stuck watching my children kill each other. It was a ruthless place and I would wish that fate on nobody, ❞ she would take father off his throne and make sure that her reign was just. Father on the other hand should be locked up. Not to face his children slaughtering each other. Just locked up to never harm anyone again. ❝ I spent however most of my time helping the ones that do survive have some kind of life. We had a sanctuary city. Somewhere they can have a rest. I interacted with my children there drank and heard their stories, the ones that cared to tell me. It was what kept me fucking sane, ❞ she sighed.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Asmodeus 》
//**
The hairs on the back of the demon prince’s neck prickled uncomfortably upon hearing her name uttered with such an old, well-worn familiarity laced through the tone, instinctively rolling her shoulders to rid herself of the sensation before returning her attention to the young woman in front of her. Just her luck, it seemed, to run into a family member right off the bat– though she was genuinely surprised by the realisation that she hadn’t sensed their presence in a very, very long while. Longer than her self-imposed exile to Earth had been, at the very least.
“– Shiva,” She eventually replied, forcibly reminding herself to keep her cool in the presence of her older sibling, though a little teasing here and there certainly wouldn’t do any harm. Shiva hadn’t been terribly touchy, the last that she could remember. “Here I thought you were ‘tied up’ in Purgatory. And I don’t suppose dear old Dad let you out, did he?” It was a childish, lazy jab at their father, and no matter how much Asmodeus knew that fact, she still celebrated it as a win.
Having spent her time contributing to the chaos and havoc that was currently being wreaked on Earth meant that a great deal of information involving the Clave and the Seelie Court had gone under her radar, ostensibly inconsequential when compared to her passing fancy of the hour– but what little she had kept track of offered her some vague insight and understanding. Queen Cirilla’s initial invitation to bend the knee following her sudden ascension to the throne had already been a rather insulting and ill-favoured offer for the demon prince, and she’d assumed that her silence would be answer enough for the young ruler. But if Shiva’s words were to be believed (indeed, her sibling had no reason to lie), then Asmodeus could only infer that Cirilla had no intentions of being ignored.
As her curiosity spiked, so too did her irritation, causing the demon to narrow her eyes ever-so-slightly at the elder of the two. The mention of Lucifer and Dagon as something of a throwaway comment was clever, the time in Purgatory certainly having no bearing on Shiva’s wit. She’d sworn to refrain from meddling in these sorts of affairs– especially anything involving family –a promise she’d managed to stick by for the past thousand years. Mostly. Admittedly, the inclination to seek out her most trusted siblings-in-arms had been floating around in her mind for a few decades, now, though Asmodeus had made a point of brushing the thought aside each time it had jumped to the front. “I see,” It was the most neutral answer she could provide in that moment, unsure how much Shiva had heard of her ‘absence’, nor how much she wanted to tell. “Well. I’m sure I can deal with those two when I see them. For right now, I’m in dire need of a drink– preferably something that can render my vessel unconscious, but I’m flexible; you can recount to me all of the undoubtedly thrilling tales that have come to pass since we last met.”
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
As Asmodeus greeted her her lips moved into a smile. She had felt proud of all those that followed Lucifer into his fight with father. They should rebel and show father that they were not his puppets though of course he didn’t listen. He did what he did best lock them away so he didn’t have to deal with them. ❝ Of course not, luckily some dragons saw the opportunity with Idris being destroyed and helped me get free. Found this wonderful vessel in a nearby monastery and then poof here. From one prison into another. Wonderful fucking luck I seem to be having, ❞ she couldn’t help but comment but at least this wasn’t father’s prison and everyone wasn’t fighting for survival. Though the tensions were certainly there.
Shiva never got said invitation hard to send one to a realm of the afterlife specifically designed for beasts and monsters. Though Shiva wouldn’t bow down to anyone. Her allegiance was to herself and to her children. However she has heard some wonderful takes about the shadowhunters and their dealings with her kind. So she wasn’t a fan. Though killing a city where there could have been their own kind mixed up within it as well? Not a good move but she did managed to get out because of it. So she was a little thankful that it happened.
A neutral answer. Not much she can gleam off that. Well if Asmodeus was willing to talk she would listen but otherwise it really was not her place to interfere. Their relationships were their own. Things can also change in the time she was gone and it was a lot of time. ❝ Undoubtedly thrilling… that’s fucking debatable but there is a lot of fighting for survival and harsh realities, ❞ Shiva shrugged. It was like a post-apocalyptic world where there was never enough resources. ❝ However if we are going to recount those tales I am going to need a fucking drink anyway. The bar is not far at least, ❞ she shrugged and turned towards the bar. The alcohol was infinitely better here at least and much more variety too.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Liana 》
Time was something that Angels had more than enough of, and apparently, so did Shiva. She has been created with her own free will from the beginning, Angels — especially Archangels were created as obeying soldiers. Back then in the day Gabriel was disappointed to see what happened with Lucifer, but in more recent days she learned that there was more to an endless life than fulfilling the wishes of someone who was barely present anyway. Now seeing their oldest sibling caused a weird feeling Gabriel could not explain. “To be honest, I never even knew if you were alive,” It was not something anyone spoke about, just like Lucifer’s name was only caalled in a whisper when he got cast out. But Gabriel realized that it should have been their turn to check after that. But there was nothing to be done about it now. All there was right now was relief and at the same time regret. “We have so much to talk about,” Gabriel told her sister, “So much has changed, actually. But I’m actually eager to know how you have been? What has happened to you? I need to know everything.”
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
Shiva guessed that father created them to be obedient because of her and her elder siblings. Leviathans were fairly destructive truth be told. She wasn’t exactly the biggest fan of her elder siblings. Then again that happens when you keep fighting against then for five thousand years. They eventually learned to leave her alone. She was neither Leviathan nor Angel. She was unique and one of a kind. ❝ I imagine that to be father trying to keep a tight seal on things concerning rebels of heaven. Can’t rile up the ones that do follow him, ❞ she shrugged. ❝ But no very much alive. I will thank father for one thing. Making me fucking hard to kill, ❞ she chuckled slightly. ❝ That we do, ❞ she agreed. ❝Ah well for those questions why don’t we get a drink first. I believe the bar serves interesting drinks. You may have to help me on that though Alcohol has certainly evolved since the last time I walked anywhere that wasn’t fucking purgatory,❞ she smiled as she walked towards the bar.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Luna 》
— “ it’s not your fault, ” dagon sighed. she was thankful she still had marcos, though. and luna, for now. she was so worried, though. the middle of a war wasn’t a good time for a baby vampire, and she couldn’t exactly take her to hell to turn her into a demon. she didn’t really care much about the outcome of anything, when she really thought about it, so long as her son and luna came out unscathed. she nodded, “ yes, i suppose so. ” she sighed, nodding again. “ yes, she’s mundane. i had just convinced her to turn into a vampire, but im not sure it would be good to add another baby vampire to things when there’s so much going on. ” she grumbled. “ luna. she was the kid of some rich mundanes and normally the whole ordeal of taking someone high profile wouldn’t be worth it but… they were so terrible to her. i don’t really care much for many, but it didn’t seem fair to just let her go through it all alone. ” dagon didn’t want her to disappear. she’d gotten so used to her presence and while it would be different if they weren’t sharing a head space, she wanted to keep her friend.
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
Shiva knew it wasn’t but it sucked to lose a loved one. No matter how many times she has seen death it was never easy to face. Though when she saw it it meant total destruction of the soul they were never coming back. Then poor Marcos wouldn’t remember one of his mothers. It reminded her of the sons she gave away. Si and her reunited in his death and she was aware the other was here. She could feel his presence like she could feel the presence of vampires and dragons. ❝ It’s still a shame, and never easy to leave a child behind, ❞ she sighed looking at Marcos. As she agreed siva sighed and shrugged. ❝ Oh well no used crying over something I have no fucking control over. ❞ As she thought about it, it made her gently frown. The original was here. With his experience he could guide her. However there was a huge amount of angels, demons and those with different variants of angelic and demonic blood. That could pose a problem. ❝ Well I can understand the hesitation. Is it time sensitive? If it’s to do with feeding she could feed from me ❞ She suggested. ❝There is no way she could overpower me or drain me, ❞ she suggested. ❝ I presume you have already found a potential sire? ❞ she asked. She hoped so because she was not repeating what she did to Young. A newborn that had the same physiology as an original. That was dangerous. That village needed taught a lesson anyway. However with the fae as they are and her unsure of what the fuck was going on adding this in was just unnecessary.

Shiva was still very much in the stages of exploring her surroundings. She figured out where the bar is possibly the most important thing. Figured out where he sons lived - though for now she was content leaving Young alone. His creation was somewhat vengeful and he suffered for it. So until she figured out how best to approach that he would be left alone. The queen’s castle and the two guest castles. There were various walks and most of all it was very pretty and things were in abundance here unlike purgatory. She could do without the fae guards but considering there was a war she understood the need for them. Besides she was able to mask who she was so to them she felt like a normal mundane and probably underestimated her.
She got back to the village and was about to turn into her house when someone literally appeared in front of her. She stopped and could sense who was in the vessel. One of Luci’s favourites and another celestial or rather ex-celestial sibling, one of those that fell down with him. As they greeted her she could see the anger. ❝ If I was I would at least be able to get the fuck out of here but sadly no I am not responsible for your arrival. That would be the Seelie Queen. Though it’s good to see you my dear Asmodeus, ❞ she commented. ❝ Seems like your are brought here to play in what ever fucking game this is as well. Lucifer and Dagon are here as well,❞ she commented wondering how they would feel about that.
( @dihstarters. )
She had been clear, so very painfully clear in her instructions, to the point of taking oddly satisfying pleasure in the parting of limbs from those bodies that had foolishly decided to defy her wishes. It had mainly been hunters that actively sought to bother her, the odd witch or warlock, even some less than prepared mundanes, Asmodeus creating fleetingly interesting games out of her summoners’ survival until the next morning, and it had always been within the Earthly realm. So one could imagine her surprise when she placed one foot onto the pavement of a back-alley lane in San Francisco, only to have the next fall atop soft, green and otherworldly grass, next to a bed of flowers.
How many times did she have to say it? Vaguely disoriented by the instantaneous, and involuntary, jump from one realm to the next (how long had it been since she’d last done it of her own accord?), the demon prince couldn’t help the rather beastly snarl that left her lips, gaze flicking back and forth in a half-hearted attempt to gather herself and determine who had brought her here, where it was that she had ended up, and why. Rare was it that Asmodeus, Prince of Hell and General of its armies, could be forced to appear anywhere she did not want to be– certainly not by just anyone, either. "… Powerful magic.” The demon seemingly muttered her thoughts into the aether, before (finally) registering a presence behind her and turning to direct a stony, pointed stare their way. And though it was so very tempting, she reluctantly forewent her initial, reactionary urge to make balloon animals with the person’s insides, instead straightening her clothes and opting for a slightly more humane greeting: “Am I to assume that you are the reason I’ve been ‘invited’ here?”

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Yue 》
Yue could see her assessing him and was unsure how he felt about that. Though it wasn’t in a bad way he could see it was in admiration. Out of love perhaps? The same way he looked at his kids. Proud and loving. It wasn’t something he was used to. However he didn’t protest. Just watched her carefully. He could feel connected to her at any rate like something in his mind just felt drawn to her. He had never had this feeling before and it did scare him a bit.
As she spoke he listened and gave her his full attention. It seemed like she had it rough as well. It only took a second after mentioning that his grandfather locked her up in purgatory to realise who exactly she was and that a whole load of family connections just opened up to him making his eyes widen… Some he was a little shocked about to say the least. The angels all of them were his aunts and uncles and that meant the archangels too. Then there were the other originals created by her… That was if they went by your standard family terms. It was not exactly your normal family. As for meeting her he hadn’t made a judgement on that but she seemed keen and willing. As she apologised to him he gently frowned.
“How did you know we suffered?” he blurted out. Wait she was trapped in purgatory where all of her kind go when they die and he his kind were one of them. “You met Si,” he realised and his eyes saddened. “My biggest regret is not trying harder on looking for him on the day we got separated. If I actually looked and didn’t flee I may have found him and we could have been together still today,” he sighed. Maybe then Si would have had a better life and not become so twisted and bitter, but who knew. “Though it now makes sense why dragons hunted us down at one point,” he commented trying to not scoff but it came out that way anyway.
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
He never even knew. That was the sad thing and she hoped that his siblings would have looked after him and his kind rather than blame them. Well they were not going to fight each other any more Shiva would make sure of that. She could tell by the way his eyes widened and could hear his body reacting to all that she was telling him. At least the angels left him and his kind alone. Though these shadowhunters and mundanes they were another thing.
❝ Yes he came into my realm, my prison. He was so angry when he first arrived. Very much so, killed many a monster soul before I got to him. I asked him his story and over time I managed to get him to see where he went wrong. I am so sorry you had to lose a loved one and I regret giving you both away. Though I feel that if you and your brother stayed with me. You may have had a worse fate, perhaps with me in purgatory or not even given a chance to live. So we cannot live in regret. He doesn’t hate you for what you did anymore and he himself has his own regrets, but he’s safe or as safe as you can be in purgatory. I hope this knowledge gives you some solace, ❞ she said as she put her hand to his cheek.
❝ I can be here for you as well now, there is no need to take things upon yourself and I want for you and your kind to live free without fear of being hunted. I want my children to help each other and not fucking fight because I got locked up. Especially now we need to group up since the shadowhunter capital has been destroyed and a bunch of vengeful shadowhunters will come in place of that. I’ll have to figure things out and it will take time but that is my motivation right now. I hope you’ll let me into your life Yu, but I am not going to force myself on you if you don’t want me to. We can take our time with this. ❞ she reassured him. She could just compulse him she had that power but then she would be no better than her father. She wanted him to accept her on his own terms.

♥♥♥ 《 Shiva && Luna 》
— dagon nodded, “ she was the prettiest woman i’ve ever met, ” she nodded wistfully. she wished elsa would have agreed to her turning her into a demon, but elsa hadn’t wanted it. she’d made her promise she wouldn’t waste precious time with their son trying to find ways to bring her back. she hoped elsa would have found peace, though. “ no, i suppose it doesn’t. yes, it’s unfortunate timing, but at least you didn’t fall into a false sense of peace that some of us did before this all happened, ” the demon sighed. “ i am doing alright. concerned about everything that’s happening and about the safety of my son and vessel. ” dagon shrugged.
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
Shive gave a sad but warm smile as she looked at Dagon, ❝ I am sorry for your loss. ❞ her voice carried the sadness. She was cursed and perhaps also blessed in a way that in the last five thousand years she has only met her legacy through their deaths. Though if they were to die in purgatory in itself they would be no more. It really was survival of the fittest there. Father thought that this was fitting and now she was out she was rearing to go against him. However now tangled in something else it was just going to have to wait now. She can wait anyway what’s another indiscriminate amount of time going to do? Well if the whole death situation isn’t sorted soon it wasn’t going to be good. ❝ True but some respite would have been nice, ❞ she sighed. ❝ I can imagine with everything going on. As for your vessel. I take it’s to do with the fact without you she’s mundane? What’s her name? ❞ She asked.
