Girls as: Months of the Year ♡
• January Girls: A deep breath first thing in the morning, the fresh pages of a diary, violet sunsets, a warm cup of Earl Grey, wrapping yourself up in a soft blanket, flushed cheeks, writing down your dreams for the future, making wishes on shooting stars
• February Girls: Heart-shaped lockets, silk pajamas, 1950’s love songs, Sweet Pea flowers placed in empty bottles, wax seal stamps, the flutter of eyelashes, long bubble baths, a dab of perfume applied between the breasts
• March Girls: Four-leaf clovers hiding in the grass, Irish Breakfast tea, classic folktales, windblown hair, baskets full of gathered herbs, emerald jewelry, iron gates covered in vines, vintage botanical artworks, cobblestone pathways
• April Girls: Honeysuckles in bloom, soft homemade quilts, teacups and saucers, early morning birdsong, sunhats with silk ribbon, overflowing flowers on a windowsill, old watering cans as planters, gingham blouses, reading poetry on a porch swing
• May Girls: Pastel-chalk drawings, crochet halter tops, running barefoot through the hills, sun-freckled skin, hand-made bracelets, words embroidered on pockets, peach orchards, skipping stones in the creek, stopping to photograph the sky, iced tea in the afternoon
• June Girls: Late-night conversations, bubblegum-flavoured kisses, holding hands in the car, sleeping with the window open, polka dot handbags, seeing movies at the drive-in, tubes of crimson lipstick, cherry picking, initial necklaces
• July Girls: Coconut + Shea Butter scented skin, tiny pearl earrings, chiffon robes in ombré, layers of rings on your fingers, lounging on a hammock, Jasmine body scrub, gemstone wind chimes dancing in the breeze, succulent terrariums, the echo of the tides
• August Girls: Orange and gray skies, round sunglasses, cactus flowers, spontaneous adventures, Nag Champa incense wafting through the air, fringe-heavy shawls, macráme art projects, end-of-Summer bonfires, Grace Slick’s voice seducing you from the radio
• September Girls: Cloudy days at the café, journaling from a park bench, coffee ring stains on newspapers, messenger bags as purses, stacks of novels you plan to read, mailing letters to pen pals, oversized scarves and burgundy berets
• October Girls: Black wide-brimmed hats, spending hours in a book shop, the song of rain on rooftops, thigh-high stockings and velvet shawls, worshipping the glow of a Full Moon, stories shared by candlelight
• November Girls: Museum corridors, antique brooches, Topaz jewelry, the sight of morning mist wrapped around the mountains, victorian portraiture, lace blouses that button up to the neck, hushed voices and watchful gazes
• December Girls: Winding marble staircases, fresh snowfall covering a garden, framed photos of loved ones, Vanilla Bean candles, floor-length robes, learning how to slow-dance, silver armbands, an evening at the ballet
