Just a little update, I'm not actually posting anything anywhere right now but I have kind of moved away from this blog. I've mostly just been working on my fiction book but the entire thing has been so inconsistent that I don't feel like it would be helpful to share it right now. It has been freeing that I don't have anything tying me to one storyline, though.

I've thought about trying to make an account somewhere just for the book, but haven't found a good platform. (also I'm not good at it).

Alright 👏 slow months are coming and I FINALLY had my first day to myself in two months yesterday and I did so much writing in the little notebook my friend gave me. I'm hoping to finish a rough draft of Ivy and the Lionhart in 2025

I'm gonna use what I HAVE to do stuff on the go because I'm tired of my creative time being restricted to my desk at home.

I found out my art tablet came with free plugs to connect to my phone, so I can draw at work in the car, AND that keyboard I have connects to my phone so I can write, too

on apologizing to a fae:

Even by saying "Oops! Sorry," as Ivy did here can and WILL put you in debt to that faerie. Typically this means you owe them a favor in their eyes, and can be cursed if you refuse to do what they ask. On the rare occasion a fae forgets the favor, or that one is beheaded before carrying it out, you can be cursed upon death just because you're still in debt to a fae, and be turned into a Dullahan (headless horseman, reaper of souls).

TL;DR: Lorne threatening the unicorn is no trivial act. He is guarding Ivy and making sure that she can enjoy the party without being harmed or taken advantage of. The Wilder country is a dangerous place for those who don't know how it works.

OCs are Lorne and Ivy! I wrote a short bit where they had to cross a river (and could have done so while staying perfectly dry) but ended up falling in anyway because well it's hot 🔥

Finally got the lines and flats down!!

It looks so nice I'm so happy with how the curly fur turned out <3 The line force makes me happy too

I listened to a lot of HTTYD score music while making this, so its definitely a happy piece for me 🌻 We'll see what next week holds, but i would like to make a background for it too!!
