Use these tips when you meet someone you want to become friends with, when you’re speaking to someone you want something from and you want them to like you (a job, a good review, a recommendation), when networking, etc. ❣️

- lead with a genuine compliment and an open ended question.

- mirror them. some people are naturally more reserved and some people are naturally more bubbly. bubbly people will be annoyed when talking to someone reserved and low energy. and reserved people will be annoyed when ambushed by a super bubbly person. match their energy, facial expressions, verbiage, and body language.

- never flat out tell someone they’re wrong, even if they are (If you want them to like you). if they are and you have to tell them, word it more like “oh really?! i thought it was _____ instead, let’s double check”
