Another lookbook because I'm really having fun making these. This time is with the iconic witch, Delancey Wells 🪄🔮

It's Sophie's wedding and Sade is giving her a little touch-up.

Sophia asked Sade how work is coming along and Sade felt like she's been stuck in a rut lately and have some doubts about giving up this music life.

[Sade]: Oooh I’ve been waiting for this day to come. I’m so excited that you’re getting married. How are you feeling?

[Sophia]: Very nervous but also extremely happy that’s finally happening. 

[Sade]: Nervous, huh. You know when my mom was about to marry your uncle she was nervous as well and it turns out she was pregnant. Soooo, are you pregnant?

[Sophia]: No I’m not pregnant.

[Sade]: Okay good, not like it would make a difference because I’m going to be the most badass auntie everrrr.

[Sophia]: How’s work treating you?

[Sade]: It’s okay, for the most part. 

[Sophia]: Is everything alright?

[Sade]: Eh, I just…I don’t know I feel like I’m in a rut. Maybe it’s because everyone has everything figured out and yet here I am still indecisive about what I want.

[Sophia]: What do you want exactly?

[Sade]: This sounds so silly to say but maybe some inspiration or like a muse. Anything to get my love back for music because I never told anyone this but I might just give up this whole music career. 

[Sophia]: I know who can be your muse, start with the letter D, end with the letter E.

[Sade]: Oh, be quiet.

[Sade]: Speaking of a certain someone, is Duke coming to the wedding?

[Sophia]: I don’t know. Rowan did try to contact him but got no response back which is strange since those two are best buds.

[Sade]: Huh, that is strange. Plus that doesn’t sound like Duke at all.

[Sophia]: All the more reason to pay him a visit since you've been avoiding that for awhile now.

[Sade]: I know I know. I’ll get to it…eventually.  

[Sade]: Ta-da. A quick touch up for the bride to be. 

[Sophie]: Thank you so much sis, and thanks again for singing at our wedding. 

[Sade]: Of course, I am really happy for you two. Let’s just hope your uncle doesn’t start crying.

The day has finally come and Sade has officially graduated from college. I'm so proud of my baby 🥹

After dinner Sade felt like it was time to tell her parents everything and she couldn't help but feel disappointed in herself thinking that she failed them.

[River]: Sade, why haven’t you reached out to us sooner. You know your mother and I would drop everything to come get you.

[Sade]: I wanted to…But I was so scared that you would be so disappointed in me and I’m sorry for letting you both down. 

[Virginia]: Oh angel, please don’t say that. We could never be disappointed in you. 

[Virginia]: Your safety and well-being is what’s important to us. We know you’re a smart girl but don’t even be afraid to give us a call. 

[Virginia]: I may not turn into a ferocious beast like your dad but I can give all the unconditional love that you deserve. 

[River]: Your mother is right and honestly it’s a good thing your friend did the job because I would have done much worse.

[Virginia]: River!!

[River]: I’m just saying, I’m overprotective when it comes to each and every one of you. 

[Sade]: I love you both so much…

[Virginia]: We love you too, angel.

It was Harvestfest and Sade took the trip home to see her family. Marisol was the first one to greet her sister at the door 🥹

She even excited to see Sophie who is getting marry very soon. She asked Sade if she can sing at her wedding and Sade said yes.

[Marisol]: You’re home!!

[Sade]: I sure am. You really think I’ve forgotten about what you said, pup.

[Sade]: Oof, what the hell mom and dad been feeding you. You’re getting too heavy for me to carry. 

[Marisol]: Dad is getting old so I gotta be big and strong to protect you. 

[Sade]: Shouldn’t I be the one protecting you since I’m the oldest. 

[Marisol]: Yeahhh, but, I’m a werewolf so let me do my job.

[Sade]: Look who it is, aren’t you excited that your wedding is just around the corner. 

[Sophie]: I am, we’re just about done getting everything in order but I need a favor to ask.

[Sophie]: Can you sing at our wedding, please please pleaseeee?

[Sade]: Like I’m going to say no, of course I’m going to sing at your wedding.

[Sophie]: Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

To take her mind off, they went to the nearby cafe to play some pool

Sade got a phone call from Marisol and she can tell right away that something is wrong with her big sister.

The more she talk to Marisol, Sade thought to herself that maybe coming home for the holidays just for a few days won't be such a bad idea.

[Sade]: This is exactly what I needed.

[Delancey]: I told you a little downtime away from campus is something you need to clear your mind. 

[Sade]: You better focus, Wells, because I’m this close to winning. 

[Delancey]: We’ll see about that, Clarke. 

[Sade]: *scoffs* Beginner’s luck.

[Delancey]: No one likes a sore loser, Clarke. 

[Sade]: Hey pup.

[Marisol]: You sound sad. Are you okay? Do I need to get dad to come get you?

[Sade]: *laughs* No need to get dad involved. 

[Sade]: I’m just feeling very homesick right now. 

[Marisol]: Well I’ve been telling you multiple times to come home but you don’t love us enough to do that.

[Sade]: Don’t say that you know I love you guys very much.

[Marisol]: I know. I’m just messing with you. 

[Sade]: Oh, you cheeky little…Now I’m definitely coming home just because of that sly comment of yours. 

[Marisol]: Hehehehe, love you too, big sis.

Sade was indeed having an existential crisis, questioning everything about her life to Delancey who just stood there listening to her friend in silence.

[Delancey]: Are you feeling alright? You look like you’ve been crying. 

[Sade]: Not really I just had a lot on my mind…

[Delancey]: What’s the matter?

[Sade]: This! Everything I've ever done just feels pointless! I thought I had everything planned out but I still feel empty like I’m missing something that I've been denying for so long. We’re about to finish college and start thinking about what the future has in store for us.

[Sade]: And I should be grateful that I have a wonderful family, outstanding friends, and got my dream job. But it’s still not enough, Lace. Because my heart is yearning for that missing piece and I feel so dumb for avoiding it but I can’t hide it anymore. 

[Sade]: That missing piece is Duke, it has always been him. The more I think about him the more my heart aches for him. I know I don’t deserve him after everything I've done and yet I missed his smile, his laugh, the way he looks at me with so much love in his eyes, the way I feel so safe when he holds me in his arms.

[Sade]: I ran from all of that because I let my insecurities get the best of me, to the arms of a monster who brought me down to my lowest. But I’m done running, I need to tell Duke that I want to spend the rest of my life with him. 

[Sade]: I just hope I’m not too late…

[Delancey]: It’s never too late, Sade. You finally admitting what you want is the first step but I know you two are going to reunite eventually.

It was Sade’s final term and the dorms feel a little less quiet now. Still it would take a while for things to go back to normal after everything she's been through and the one thing that came to mind was her love for music that she surely missed.

As she sits there letting her fingers strum on the strings on their own she can’t help but look back where things were much more simpler. A time where two teens were just enjoying each other's company without a care in the world.

Soft kisses, gentle touch, Sade missed all of that. It hurt knowing it took her this long to realize what she wanted most in her life.

Delancey is going to make this nightmare go away.

[Ellis]: Great, I should have known you it was you who sent that manic to attack me last night. 

[Delancey]: I don’t know what you're talking about and honestly I don’t care. I should give that person a medal for making my job a bit easier. 

[Delancey]: I’ve been waiting for this day to come, to do what I should have done from the start. You’re a monster for what you did to my best friend, she may have her flaws but she’s the most intelligent, caring person in the world and you took advantage of that. 

[Delancey]: I don’t care what excuses you have, I don’t want to hear it. There’s no way you can redeem yourself. In fact I’m done talking to you.

[Delancey]: I told you if you hurt her in the slightest way possible I’m going to make sure you have a slow yet painful death. But I changed my mind. I'm ending this now, so enjoy your last breath of air. I hope your soul rots in hell for all eternity. 

[Sade]: You’re back.

[Delancey]: Sure am. And I had a talk with that no-good, lowlife, ex-boyfriend of yours and he won’t be hurting you anymore.

[Sade]: I’m honestly scared to ask but thank you, Delancey. I know I can be a bit stubborn.

[Delancey]: A bit is an understatement.

[Sade]: Okay, I’m like 70% stubborn but I appreciate you for always having my back.

[Delancey]: And I always will, however this has been very overwhelming so please no more drama until we graduate.  

[Sade]: I’ll try to stand clear from any drama.

Sade woke up from a massive hangover. She doesn't even recognize herself in the mirror as she broke down into tears.

Delancey had enough she wouldn't let Ellis get away after what he did to Sade. Sade didn't mean the harsh words she said to Delancey, she was tired, hurt, and wanted this nightmare to go away.

[Delancey]: Look! I know you've been telling me to give this sack of shit a chance but this one too many!!

[Sade]: Lace…

[Delancey]: No!! Don’t try to sugarcoat this, Sade. He left you out there, alone, and vulnerable where anyone could have taken advantage of you!!

[Sade]: Alright!! I get it!! You were right and I was wrong. I don’t need you to remind me how much of a failure I am. In fact, I don’t need you!! I don’t need anymore so just leave me the fuck alone!!

[Delancey]: Sade-

[Sade]: I'm tired Lace, I’m so tired of wanting everything to be perfect but it always backfires. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean any of that. 

[Sade]: I feel so stupid… 

[Delancey]: Come on, I see people make much worse decisions than what you did.

[Sade]: You're just saying that to make me feel better. 

[Delancey]: I mean it. Now go change out of those clothes, I have some unfinished business to do.

Back inside the club, Ellis didn't why this person was just staring him down.

And this wasn't a complete stranger. This is someone that would do anything for Sade. She may not remember this night but Duke will.

[Ellis]: Can I help you with something?

[???]: …

[Ellis]: Okay? Are you just going to stand there and not say anything because you’re starting to pissed me off. 

[???]: …

[Ellis]: Look I don’t know who you are or what you want. But you are starting to get on my last nerve and I would not hesitate to beat your ass.

[???]: You wouldn’t stand a chance against me. 

[Duke]: I’m so sorry…I should have been there for you…

Yet he didn't leave just stood by her side keeping her company which made her a bit better.

[???]: Are you feeling any better?

[Sade]: Yeah, just a little…

[Sade]: But I think my ass hurts from sitting on this cold ground. Do you mind helping me up?

[???]: Sure, just hold onto me.

[Sade]: I need to ask why does your voice sound so off??

[???]: It’s the autotune, I used it to alter my voice.

[Sade]: And the helmet?

[???]:  What helmet? This is actually my face, you know.

[Sade]: Oh haha, very funny. I bet your face is ugly that’s why you are wearing that dumb helmet. 

[???]: Yeah yeah, laugh it up.

[Delancey]: Sade!!! 

[Sade]: Delancey!!!!

[Delancey]: I came as fast as you can.

[Sade]: I’m so sorry. I’m sorry, Lace.

[Delancey]: I’m just glad you’re okay. You smell like shit, by the way. 

[Sade]: Shut up. 

[Sade]: Wait!! I gotta say goodbye to my friend.

[Delancey]: What friend?

[Sade]: The guy wearing that dumb helmet, over there!!

[Delancey]: Um, are you sure, Clarke?

[Delancey]: Because there’s no one here.

[Sade]: Huh…I guess he was the little voice in my head after all.
