even the increasingly heavy rain couldn't interrupt your dreamless slumber. that was until jeno entered the low-ceilinged but cosy bedroom of yours on his tiptoes, careful not to wake you up. the disc he was holding, consisted of extra crisp blueberry waffles and fresh orange juice, your favourite breakfast menu. he woke you up with a soft "merry christmas baby".

as new year's eve was soon approaching, you realised in terror that you had still to use your newly purchased polaroid camera. but the thing is, that your boyfriend hated having his picture taken. it took a lot of bribing with promises of vanilla cupcakes but, jaemin eventually caved in, posing in front of your lit christmas tree, wearing your favourite cardigan sweater of his.

mark: acts normal for the most part but can't help stealing glances towards his crush. there's a big possibility he'll space out while clapping and get caught staring. during the ending stage johnny grabbed mark all of a sudden to introduce him to them. he keeps wiping his sweaty hands on his expensive velvet pants but manages to remain calm and leave a good first impression. he can’t stop smiling on his way back to the dorms.

renjun: the most relaxed member out of the seven boys. he doesn't make a fool of himself in any way and enjoys the awards show, singing along to his favourite songs. bows to his crush's group and gives them a polite smile, earning a bigger one in return. renjun offers to lend his hand warmer and blushes when they take it, feeling a sense of accomplishment. mark gives him a thumbs up, encouraging his friend for taking the first step.

jeno: a true gentleman. just like renjun, he behaves politely for the entire night. when jeno and the rest of the dreamies return backstage to prepare for their performance, they happen to meet his crush in the hallway. he instantly gives his signature eye-smile while congratulating them for their win tonight! his crush is shy and avoids eye contact, making jeno feels protective over them, even though they barely know each other.

taeil: professor snape’s favorite student (although he won’t admit it cause he’s a ravenclaw). potions prodigy, everyone asks to copy his homework. turns a blind eye and laughs at every single one of haechan’s pranks since he’s never the target. everyone comes to him for advice. likes taking walks in the early morning near the lake, smuggling sandwiches from the kitchen to feed the giant squid. obsessed with pumpkin juice and a big fan of the weird sisters, spends a lot of time in the great hall practicing with doyoung for the frog choir.

johnny: the feared beater of gryffindor’s quidditch team. no one dares cross him when in reality he’s as playful and innocent as a puppy. doesn’t really care about his grades yet he passes every class somehow? curious about the concept of photography in the muggle world, won’t stop asking doyoung questions about it. makes friends from every house. honorary guest of the slug club christmas party, treating everyone blishen’s firewhiskey. 

taeyong: the cutest hufflepuff you’ll ever meet. care of magical creatures is his favorite subject hence why professor grubbly-plank keeps baking him fruit cakes (they’re terrible but he eats them anyway because he is a polite boy). gets in trouble for releasing chocolate frogs accidentaly during classes. but he is a good student and stays out of trouble unless mark needs help summoning his stubborn owl. won’t stop sulking to doyoung until he agrees to get a bowtruckle (the latter argues that it’s a big responsibility).

yuta: a proud member of the green and silver house. not really interested in pranks, he’s always off doing his own thing. defence against the dark arts and charms are his favorite subjects, although his grades aren’t that great. open-minded and curious not only of the muggles but the wizarding world as well. not the talkative type but has a weird obsession with second-year cutie mark who always seems to get lost on his way to sprouts’s greenhouse. leads the slytherin quidditch team, always coming up with complex yet successful strategies, smirks seeing jaehyun get competitive in the field. has a fan club of his own, the latest gossip has it that pansy parkinson asked him out on a date but he refused.

doyoung: a proud ravenclaw prefect. really interested in muggle studies, determined to discover what’s the function of a karaoke machine. the main target of haechan’s pranks (poor dude still can’t recognize the fainting fancies from regular candy). acts likes he’s tired of johnny’s questions, secretly enjoying them. keeps a secret collection of outdated muggle romcoms that no one knows about except for haechan (the real question is how did the young gryffindor sneak into ravenclaw’s common room). a diligent student, earned a helpful gift from professor mcgonagall so he can attend all of his classes. charmed taeyong’s small backpack so he can store a ridiculous amount of drooble’s best blowing gum to snack on.  

jaehyun: leader of gryffindor’s quidditch team, everyone’s crush. insuspiciously consumes well-disguised love potions. luckily, his butterbeer mate johnny is always there to prevent catastrophe from happening. good grades once again, a prefect of the golden and maroon house. he’s pretty chill and out-going, keeps jungwoo company during study time in the library (offered him once access to the restricted section but poor woo got scared). keeps quiet about his background. surprisingly enjoys herbology, keeps a pot with a white daisy on his nightstand earning curious glances from mark.

jungwoo: the most beloved hufflepuff. you can find him in the library studying advanced arithmancy or down in the kitchens playing endless rounds of exploding snap with the house elves, leaving with many delicacies by hand. looks forward to the trips to hogsmeade, more specifically to honeydukes so he can stock up on fizzing whizzbees. cracks jokes loudly in the dining hall, earning giggles even from the toughest audience, the bloody baron. enjoys teasing yuta, who acts aloof but jungwoo swears he caught him smiling to himself one time. the sweetest friend, a shoulder to cry on and chow down caramel cobwebs.
