(( a life update from the mun!! ))

Hello hello it is I, Cream, somewhat back from life. 

Essentially I: 

- Graduated from grad school 

- Worked the most mentally draining summer job right after that (I was the mental health professional for all kids and staff at a sleep away camp. I worked 7am to 12am every day, minus days off and even then who knows). I am still recovering from that even thought that ended about a year ago. It made me question my skills as a clinician and just as a person in general and that was a lot. 

- am now a therapist!! very exciting, pursuing licensure atm

- lost my family dog randomly without warning

- have a severe shrimp allergy in which even cross contamination will make me ill

- suffer from sinus headaches whenever it rains

- am now in a LDR bc my partner is working in another state 

- playing Mystic Messenger again... yeah okay I know I know. 

- am now 25! (I was 20 when this account was started)

- and so on and so forth

I can dedicate a single week day most likely to RPs, but I'm going to be honest I have not a clue how to make it all formatted and nice so I need someone to hold my hand through that or if y'all wanna do it via disc that’s okay

but I'm signing off for now since I have stuff to do!

Kagome laid down, back on grass, staring up at the still night sky in the modern day. She thinks back on her friends that she made, staring at the stars in between her splayed out hands. Sighing, she remembers the good and the bad, and how she kept - keeps, honestly - disappearing and disappointing the people she holds close. Life goes on, as do the people around her, she can’t expect everyone to stop time while she continues living.  A couple of tears slide down her cheeks as she continues to stare up at the night sky. She hopes that at least everyone knows she cares for them deeply still, even though her time in the modern day draws shorter and shorter every trip. 

Nothing is the same as it was.

     What could she say? That she was stuck in the feudal era for months on end? After that she had to come back to this time to salvage what little life she had? That most days she just wanted to sleep until that ache in her heart disappeared? That she’s been around for longer that anticipated and couldn’t face Dez because she knew the other would be disappointed?             “Do you want the long version or the short version?” Was all she could muster.

     “ What brings you by the shrine today? ” Kagome was a little confused as to why this kid (maybe? he had an aura of someone much older) wandered into the shrine. Any interruption to her day was welcomed though, the hours seemed to be dragging by and her boredom increased by the second. She only hoped this person was staying for a bit, so she could fulfill her need for human interaction.

      SHE IS DOUBTING MITSUNARI   ?   TO him,   that’s how it appears,   to hear her doubt   :  all humans,   whether they are enemies or not,   are mourned by mitsunari in some way.   (   nobunaga knows it,   has seen mitsunari pray   &  cry over corpses,   no matter how much of an airhead persona he puts on.   )

      ❝   I KNOW HE WILL.   ❞   CARELESSLY speaks,   almost a complete dismissalof the situation.  ❝   that’s why i’ll keep you alive no matter what it takes   ——  i cannot have one of my best subordinates out of commission on the whims of an outsider.   ❞   a look of consideration for her person   :   ❝   think of it this way  —  stay alive,   because if mitsunari suffers,   the war will be prolonged   &  there will be more loss of life.   ❞    

     And there it is. She laughs–– uncharacteristic of the situation, but there was some relief when she realized he didn’t actually care for her. “ Am I still an outsider to you, Nobunaga? I would think that since I’ve been around so long that I would finally be welcomed by you with open arms. ” The day he smiles at her is the day that hell freezes over. 

     “ When you put it like that, it sounds like an offer I can’t refuse. ” He should never consider being a therapist. “ I loathe this war, I’ll do whatever I can to have it end, and that Mitsunari comes back to me safely, without suffering. ” And maybe then they can work out their feelings towards each other.
