German speaking anon here
I based it off of the fact that both biest and haus are neutrally gendered words in german (das biest, das haus)
When it's a word made up of two or more words mashed together, beasthaus in that case, then the last word is the one deciding which article comes in front of it, so for example Sonne is Die Sonne because sun is feminine, but its Der Sonnenschein (sun shine), because schein is masculine
Biestmรคdchen, or beast girls, would have "die" in the beginning since mรคdchen/girls is a word with feminine article, and it would override the neutrality of the word Biest
Quite honestly i dont know who you are i just came accross your twitter randomly and it kinda bothered me. Love your artwork have a nice day!!
Thanks and you too!

This is so out of context sorry but on your twitter you could change your bio to "wilkommen zum beasthaus" and your pinned tweet to "enjoy your stay in dem beasthaus" if you want the grammar to be halfway correct. I dont know if you meant for it to be wrong grammar but it reads very weirdly
Thank you! I already changed the bio. Can't do anything about the pinned since twitter doesn't allow for edited posts iirc. Would it also technically be die or der beasthaus because it's monster girls not guys?

Hiii, do you animate in blender, and if so do you have any good resources for learning to rig that youd be willing to share? Ive been trying to learn for literal years, i can model stuff in my sleep but i havent rigged a single model and its getting so disheartening...
Yes I do! You don't do full gifs in blender. It's only a series of images played based on how many frames you have (I normally use between 30-40). I use gimp to make the gifs from the image sequences.
Royal Skies on Youtube makes some good tutorials for rigging in blender. Some really good tips: Keep your rigs within your mesh to keep them from deforming. Keep them as close to some of your vertices in your model as possible before you finalize your rig. If some of your bones (what you use for your rig) are far from your mesh or even some of your vertices your model could deform. After doing one side if your model's rig. Invert names (left/right or top/bottom, etc.) then symmetrize to make things easier!
That's just a few things off the top of my head. It's fun and I still have trouble at points but much like getting anything in blender it's very rewarding!

I genuinely think Mouthwashing fandom is a good example on how real life misogyny is very wired on people brains and influenced how they engage with fictional misogyny.
You have a story about a woman being assaulted and telling a man he trusted but being dismissed because he is friends with the attacker, and people fixate on shipping her with either of those me.
You have a story about how men that downplay their male friends violence, assume neutrality is the safer option, unintentionally help create an environment that's unsafe to vulnerable people, at a risk becoming a victim themselves. And people make it about toxic yaoi.
You have a character kill herself because she didn't want birth the child of her abuser. And people make AUs where she happily keep the baby.
Misogyny isn't just "I hate this women", it's also downplaying their trauma, defending those who caused it, and reducing them to mothers or wives against their wished under this idea of what womanhood is about.
I don't think we can separate fandom misogyny from it's real world influence, not yet.
#yep!#perfect example of this also manifests in eva fandom circles#rei and asuka get reduced to tradwife material even tho one was groomed into such and the latter actively stated going childless#but ppl still move goalposts and defang the girl whose (justified) ire is one of her most known traits. AND THEY'RE KIDS!!#and say 'she doesn't know what she wants' and using her adolescence against her ('teens say things they don't mean!')#girls and women can never say no#it's not that no secretly means yes but bc ppl hate women to twist words#and horror being made easily digestible or for content is its own can of worms#ppl often don't want 2 grapple w how uncomfortable the nature of the material is
