hmmmmmmm i sorta wanna make the gavins draconequii, the comics show another draconequus that looks VERY different from discord so i think they can vary designwise, kristoph would appear very put together at first but on closer look things dont “add up”, klavier piles on the eccentricity

ex. of kristophs design: hes like a purple pink color but when u get way up close hes actually red and blue with incredibly tiny stippling so its not as straightforward as you expected

i wanna figure out more ways to stylize the unicorn tails, and with alicorns im going back and forth between them being just a combo of all 3 pony types and them being 99% show accurate “ideal” “perfect” ponies (like an angel being a basic stick figure; youd just be like damn. thats certainly a guy)

pegasi: buggy. bug wing shaped ears, weird like. anime fang indent idk, two wings (mini proto wings, scootaloo only has proto wings), tail shaped like abdomen (havent decided if its like. built like that or if the mane just sticks in that shape, mane is wrapped around it), hooves have fingers sorta ? (based on elephant feet at first but can also be interpreted like protohorses toes). usually have no markings but can have eyespots

unicorn: very fucked up. tend to have very artistic and symbolic markings, twisty tails, and gem-like accents. lots of heart shapes fuck you. tend to have more fabric-like mane. im iust imagining them like heraldic tapestries and shit

earth ponies: realistic markings, dog markings/physique?? other mammals???? idk. snoot. super super fluffy

all: cutie marks are usually centralized but can spread with heightened emotion (spread pattern depends on breed and design).

generally tried to connect them to other critters as like a common ancestor typa thing, like unicorn -> crystal ponies pegasi -> changelings, etc etc
