Hi Tumblr, since I haven't been putting out that much music lately, I wanna talk a bit about some of the projects I've got going on :)

- Emboldened By The Power Of Friendship : Set to be my first album composed entirely of songs I structured inside of a DAW, i.e. the "normal" way of making electronic music lol. These songs are many years old at this point and have been sitting in my BandCamp drafts as such. They were meant to be part of a larger album, but the other projects are bogging down my progress and would honestly just work better as a separate release. Most of the songs were made in the company of friends, or brainstormed with friends, or inspired by friendships, as represented by the name :)

- On The Cutting Room 4loor : A compilation album made up mostly of old tests, mixes, and remasters. This was meant to be a "deluxe" version of my earlier album, rescue sounds, although it just works better as its own thing.

- cirius chill Absolite / POWERING OFF MY BODY EACH NIGHT PRAYING 4 gød 2 MAKE IT STOP HURTING : A split track release of 2 songs from swordjaw that Estelle & I made years ago. I had initially planned to audition them for a compilation album years ago, but missed the deadline and I uh... Kinda just put off actually finishing them until recently ? 😅 They're really good, I swear

- Black w/ Græy Glitter : A demo track of the set I performed for the ambient music sleepover show at Scobi Hotel a few weeks back :) I'm sooo pissed at myself that I didn't actually record my set (because I kinda didn't think it was gonna be worth recording, only to wildly outperform how I thought I'd do), so I did a mini separate performance for this recording !!

- I'm still in the process of slowly uploading as many of my old vocal synth covers as I feel comfortable with, so look out for those too :) often I don't separately post about them now and kinda just leave it up to the nebulous YouTube algorithm to reach people. They're old covers, after all. A lot of them I'm just uploading for posterity, cuz I believe a world with more Vocaloid is a good world !

Hi Tumblr, I'm back for a quick update :)

Life has been very... Yeah. Lately. Somehow picked up strep like 2 or 3 months ago and now my body won't let go of it (so far I've had it r times now), it seems to be antibiotic resistant (been on 4 rounds of antibiotics 😓) and I'll likely have to get my tonsils out to finally be rid of it :')

I also have a girlfriend now !!! ❤️🧡🤍🩷💜 Remember that one girl I mentioned in my last life update? Yeah, we became official over the weekend and it's immensely exciting for me, I don't date people very often so this is really big for me ^^

I've also still been working on music, yes :) mostly organizing old projects and figuring out how to properly release certain things. I also might be playing a show with some VERY big names later this summer, although it's not 100% set in stone yet so that's all I'll say on the subject for now...

To anyone who sees this, I hope you're doing okay <3 I'm still hanging in here and I hope you will too

I am so sorry you got a message about it in the first place, but there’s a really stupid flavor of discourse going around where some people don’t believe trans men or nonbinary people can reclaim “tranny” because according to them, it is ONLY used against trans women.

Better to just ignore people who think like that. At least that’s what I’m doing, since my lived experiences say otherwise.

This tool is built directly off of the game itself and is therefore completely 100% accurate. The thing about reclaiming slurs is that once you've been affectionally called 'faggot' by friends, loved ones, and amiable fellows on the internet for long enough, you almost forget that it means something else to people who hate you.

Honestly at this point if a stranger on the street yelled "hey faggot!" after me, I'd probably turn around like "what?" like they'd just casually called me by name, and they were only trying to get my attention because they wanted to tell me something, before processing that they're being hostile.
