AuthenticĀ spinning jenny from the early 1700ā²s
The spinning jenny was a revolutionary invention that lead to major economic impact. Firstly the spinning jenny was invented in 1764 by James Hargreaves. The device was a spinning wheel frame that could spin 8 spindles at once instead of 1 to make thread. This was then proceed by the spinning mule which could make more as well as more varied type of thread specifically finer ones. These were major factors that started the industrial revolution in later years since it allowed for faster more mass produced textiles and clothing. Which led to more clothes being ready made instead of outsourced the same can be said for the materials. Which caused people to industrialize other tasks like farming and food production. The spinning jenny was also named for the inventors wife
The economic impact of this was that while this got the industrial revolution started and made jobs and started making more jobs in the long run. A lot of people lost their jobs due to the fact that it could employ whole families to make thread or cloths or cloths and that would be an inter-generational job. With that being able to be done by machines and a lot faster this made those people lose these jobs. Which made an already pretty bad class divided made it worse in the family had to move or find a new source of income and in the changing economic landscape very difficult. But in the long run this change needed to be made for the industrial revolution and our modern world and our society to happen Ā

āLouisiana's Code Noir (1724) ⢠BlackPast.ā BlackPast, 25 Mar. 2019, www.blackpast.org/african-american-history/louisianas-code-noir-1724/.
Copy of the Code Noir
The Code Noir marks a very dark part in america's politics. It was a list of rules or codes that slaves and slaveholders had to follow in the state of Louisiana in 1724. These rules restricted many things such as no Jewish people would be allowed in the state. Slaves must follow the roman catholic religion, no interracial marriage, children born of slaves are also slaves, also slaves could not fight back or disobey command for risk of being beaten and in some extreme cases killed it they cause bodily harm to another person. The codes also made sure that no slave could have proper representation in court.slaves could also now own property which in this time where owning property was incredibly important life very difficult Ā This code perpetuated racial attitudes and being held at the time as well as the slaver. The only thing that the code made better was the fact that slave owners could not mutilate, torture or kill their slaves. Which helped with incredibly unjust treatment but that all the code offered in the way of decency and progression for american society and politics. Since it would be decades until the civil war ends slavery and well over 100 years until the desegregation movement
