My latest crafts project has been making a little t-rex Ryugi plushie, and there he is! Had to compromise on some details but I'm happy with how he came out! (Large cat for scale)

I'll talk a bit about the process and tutorials I used to make him down below, for anyone interested!

For the crochet plush base, I used 2 separate patterns: - For the body and legs - For the head and arms

For his sweater/hoodie/whatever it is I followed more or less this video tutorial that comes with a PDF pattern, had to adjust the proportions a bit tho! As for the fabric, I recycled a black and a yellow t-shirt (the hood actually fits his head! I didn't plan for it)

His monk robe was almost nightmarish to make, as I accidentally bought extremely stiff linen (I assume it's supposed to be embroidery canvas) which was horrid to work with for sewing, but it was expensive, and I'm too stubborn to put expensive fabric to waste. I didn't follow a pattern, I simply adjusted the sweater one, cut the fabric, and prayed for the best; I hand painted the details with textile paint

His glasses are made with copper wire, I learnt how to make them thanks to this video The chain (and necklace) is a cheap necklace i snipped up, the pendant was made by crudely hotglueing 4 rhinestone stickers from my personal collection of hoarded craft supplies

i was at an event last night in california and i went to the bar to order wine bc wine was like, a thing, and i looked at the menu and saw i was completely out of my depth bc idk any wine names, so i turned to my right and there was a man in a gorgeous suit standing at the bar beside me and i said “do you know anything about wine?” and he said “a little, yes!” i told him i liked white and dry wines and asked if he’d order for me. he asked the server for two glasses and had one poured for each of us and then he clinked his glass on mine but he didn’t take a sip, he just watched me taste mine and then he asked what i thought and i said “it’s pretty good, but like i said, i wouldn’t know.” he laughed and told me to have a good time & i walked away. fifteen minutes later i found out he’s the winemaker.
