Okay reblog if you’re an artist who STRONGLY PREFERS reblogs with commentary

People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someone’s art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that can’t possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.

Obviously don’t feel bad for NOT adding a comment if you’re shy or just don’t know what to say, but if there’s something you would like to say about a drawing you’ve liked enough to reblog, I’m pretty sure most artists crave hearing it.

sometimes being a submissive feels like being a broken glass vase. you are this mess of a person and it is fucked beyond repair. and all your life you’ve been taking the hammer to yourself because you need to change. you need to feel something different.

and then someone comes. and they see something in your mess. and you ask them so nicely if they’d break you more and they say “okay”.

you watch them take the pieces of you and melt you down and you think god okay yes its finally happening this is catharsis this is some kind of divinity this is the destruction ive been dreaming about. and it’s wonderful. it’s really really everything.

and as if that wasn’t enough. they remold you. reshape you in a way only their hands could. their fingerprints become part of you and when the burning is gone, when you’re solid again, you’re still that vase. it doesn’t change that the break happened. but it changes you. and they really, really, really love you.

and then they do it again forever.
