Apart from the problems faced by the elderly while boarding the train, they also have a lot of problems departing and travelling with their luggage within the station area. They constantly ask for help from fellow passengers to carry their luggage outside.
The battery operated cars are a boon to them and since it is very cheap, the elderly use it very frequently.

Traffic signals create issues for Elderly drivers The elders who commute daily in the city find it unmanageable to drive in and around the city. As the elders drive a bit slow, they find the timing of traffic signals untimely which makes it difficult for them to cross it on time. The other issues which elders face is the driving of auto-rikshaw drivers who stop anywhere between the moving traffic making it difficult for the elders to drive.
