In Budapest, Ukraine is once again being accused and threatened.

“Ukraine has once again attacked the oil pipeline leading to Hungary, cutting off supplies. This latest strike against our energy security is outrageous and unacceptable!

Russian Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin informed me that experts are working to restore the transformer station essential for operating the pipeline, but for now they cannot say when deliveries will resume.

For 3.5 years Brussels and Kyiv have tried to drag Hungary into the war in Ukraine. These repeated Ukrainian attacks on our energy supply serve that same purpose.

Let me be clear: this is not our war. We have nothing to do with it, and as long as we are in charge, Hungary will stay out of it.

The domestically developed cruise missile has a reported range of 3,000 km (1,864 miles). The military has not yet publicly commented on the official technical specifications.

Russia declares isolation over after Putin’s red-carpet welcome in Alaska

Top Russian officials welcomed the end of Russia’s diplomatic isolation following President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Alaska for his first visit to the U.S. since 2015.

The summit restored a "full-fledged mechanism for meetings" between the two presidents, without "ultimatums and threats," Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel on Aug. 16.
