Net Art music video for track by sevdaliza​ by pussykrevv​ was made using 3D scanning and stylized 3D renderings:

For her latest interdisciplinary project “That Other Girl”, Sevdaliza teamed up with Pussykrew discovering their mutual passion and corresponding references for 3D technology.

Pussykrew created a complete 3D environment based on 3D scans of Sevdaliza. They’ve used two different consumer grade scanning devices -­ Structure Sensor scanner for busts and full body scans and Scanify from Fuel3D for the face scans and details. Artists are experimenting with 3D scanning technology in their latest 3D animation and 3D printing works.

I’ve been bewitched and wooed thoroughly by a producer and singer named Sevdaliza. The artist, who was born in Iran and raised in the Netherlands, is spellbinding on her new song Marilyn Monroe, co-produced with Mucky. I’ve never heard of Sevdaliza until today, but her level of mystique, and the haunting beauty of her music, is exceptional. She reminds me of FKA Twigs, with some Ibeyi. Sevdaliza’s music feels raw and exposed, provocative yet honest. Marilyn Monroe is fragile and consuming at the same time… And come to think of it, that can be said of both the historical figure or this song. Perhaps that’s exactly what Sevdaliza was going for on her astonishing new single.
