I’m obsessed with Otto’s fatal flaw in a few of your fics being his inability to really, truly love. In ST especially. He is so intelligent, so Machiavellian in his schemes, and it nearly works perfectly as n his favor, except he doesn’t consider that Alicent is a person, that Rhaenyra is a person. He knows he has the ability to force Alicent into a marriage but in all of his planning failed to account for Rhaenyra and her actually loving and caring for one another. It’s so Greek, it’s so good.
