FUMIE. 22. IDOL. MUTANT.

enter michishige fumie, also known as the million dollar baby among her family. she garnered the name after her mother and father’s family closed a deal and united companies after her birth, needing that extra ‘insurance’ after marriage. the first cousin of michishige miyuu on business tycoon’s father’s side, she grew up occasionally meeting miyuu and the two are fairly close. fumie has a good image of miyuu and thinks of her rather highly, despite the strong aura of corporate greed. nothing seems amiss when everyone in your family is rich and and greedy. since the age of four, fumie was trained in various arts; rhythmic gymnastics, violin, painting, and most of all ballet. the problem was, fumie was always a chubby child and often put on strict diets to keep her weight down. this worked for a while, but perpetually made the growing girl unhappy as she loved so many different foods. and having freedom.

at the age of fourteen, fumie wanted to get away from her rigid lifestyle and family. nothing was seeming to go smoothly and they had even arranged her to marry the heir of a michishige family business partner. she wanted to run away, but someone would always find her whenever she did. so, she prayed to just disappear. and, that she did. she panicked, not knowing how to turn back into a form someone could see, and turned to the only person she felt safe enough with to talk to. her cousin, miyuu. miyuu studied fumie closely and eventually the younger cousin was able to turn back into her normal self, but that wasn’t the end of things. together, they discovered that fumie somehow had the power of invisibility. it may or may not have something to do with miyuu playing with experiments on fumie when they were younger, the older would never tell. regardless, she aided fumie in ways to eventually try and control this power.

just a year prior, fumie rebelled and auditioned for an idol group after being scouted one day. she asked miyuu to help her make up an excuse to their parents about how they were taking trips to tokyo for shopping -- when, in reality, fumie was going to training camps after being accepted. when it came time for her parents to co-sign her acceptance into the company, they were enraged but fumie asked them to see it as a hobby. she promised that her tenure into the group wouldn’t be for long and to allow her this one pleasure in life. they relented, but that short tenure turned into nearly nine years. now, fumie is currently the leader of the idol group imouto. despite what her parents would’ve liked, she has become quite the popular name on wotas lips and many often see her in magazines. at times, she still does struggle with that same chubbiness that plagued her in childhood. many think she’s only good for gravure work, but none of it matters to her. being an idol, in it’s own way, has given her a sense of freedom. no one sees her as the million dollar baby. no one even knows that she’s rich, except for die hard fans who look into her personal life. she has fun doing what she does.

fumie has also since learned how to control her invisibility. well, somewhat. as long as her emotions aren’t too high then she’s fine. and, fumie is usually as cool as a cucumber.

thinking of bringing back my original alien muse that i had on the first blog. tho i want her to have a human roommate who she gets on the nerves of and they half put up with her because she can pay the majority of the rent and half because, through all their ‘quirky shenanigans’, they’ve become actual friends.

roleplaying habits questions!

25. how does your follower count affect your mood?

it doesn’t at all, really. i’ve never been a roleplayer that’s had many followers. like. ever. so, i don’t even care much. even if someone unfollows me, it’s probably someone i’ve never written with anyway.

21. does making icons give or take away energy to write? what about other graphics?

it takes away more than gives tbh. the only muse where it actually gives me energy to make icons for is shuuka, because i like her faceclaim so much and enjoy making icons of them. but, besides that, it takes away to have make more icons for each reply and i don’t often make icons in batches.

3. how often do you reach for a synonym dictionary when writing? how about mentally?

every now and then i’ll look for a synonym, but overall i think my writing style is pretty blunt and plain. so i just rely on words that i know or have already heard of. a lot is just mental.

24. what’s your thought process when you format? any unspoken rules you follow?

i simply cannot write without making everything small text, it just looks clumsy if i don’t and makes me feel uninspired. i’m still looking for a format that really makes me go ‘yep, this is my aesthetic’ but until then, i just add some spaces in the beginning to make it look more…heck, i don’t know. aesthetic-y lmao
